Morning all, I have been MIA moving house has wiped me out. PGP is wild so have finally bit the bullet and put a sick note into work. Vomiting has returned also - it’s been a long two weeks. Hope everyone doing ok x

@JadeypieEverything definitely happened a lot sooner this time round, but this pregnancy has also flown by compared to my first pregnancy. Yeah can feel all the movements in the pelvis now which isn’t helping the pgp.

I believe it’s just a wait-and-see if I have any concerns I have to just call Triage and they will see me straight away. They have said even if I think it’s nothing just to go in and be monitored. I do have a Growth scan monday so can at least see baby boy again.

I’m also so emotional today like I could just cry at anything I was saying to my mum. I hope this isn’t a sign of labour because I vaguely remember having this with my son and I have a really strong urge for him to sleep at my mum’s house tonight. 😬 I’m hoping it’s just because I didn’t sleep great last night I’m tired.

@Nynm23 sorry to hear your sickness is back. Happy you got a sick note though. No point being in pain and trying to work not worth it. How did moving go? Xx

Move went smoothly enough, a breeze had I not been pregnant. Unboxing is taking a while due to not being able to do much - partner has had to do most of it but he’s back to work this week so I’ll maybe do a box a day 😂 we’ll be unpacked by Xmas at that rate.

First growth scan tomorrow, hoping this boy is a chunker, which will at least give some reason for the aches and pains!

@Sunshinemoom oh maybe abit of intuition is kicking in! Is the little fella going to stay at your mums tonight? Maybe its for the best if your feeling like that just to make u feel abit at ease!! I agree second time round d is wild haha ive also got alot of moment low down like his hiccups feel just above my pubic bone and like I feel like I can feel his little hands in my hip which feels WEIRD!! And the pressure down their sometimes he makes me nearly pee myself ha. Xxx

@Nynm23 how many weeks are you know? Well done on the house move!! With pgp aswell, couldnt think of anything worse glad its gone smoothly for you. Ive been off work for weeks now with my pgp I was useless and in pain and thought what am I doing. Ive actually felt abit better with it this week. My physio did say sometimes when baby drops it helps which seems to be true even tho it doesnt make sence haha xxx

@Jadeypie you’ve just described what I can feel and no one else gets it! Baby is low down near my pubic bone (head down) and it feels like they have their hand up by their face inside my hip moving it around. It’s the strangest sensation isn’t it! Glad someone else has described it like that and I’m not going mad 🤣 I’m also feeling hiccups in the same place as you. The pressure down there is ramping up too!

@Nynm23 glad the move went well. I can’t imagine moving while pregnant. You must be exhausted! PGP is horrible too so I hope you are sat in a nice comfy spot unpacking those boxes! 😊

Maybe. Or the last week is catching up with me. Yeah we went to my mums for dinner, and he’s staying the night. Honestly just feel so rubbish. Oh that’s the same as me. Feels like it’s in my hips all his movements, hiccups feel so weird. Xx

My little one has had the hiccups for almost 24 hours straight 😅 feels like an eye twitch but in my pelvis, so weird!

I’m 29 weeks tomorrow, still feels like I’ve a long way to go! What is everyone with pgp doing for tea? I can’t stand long enough to make dinners - literally in bits - other half isn’t much of a cook! 😂

I have crutches off the physio, they are a God send. I also rely on the air fryer alot and one pot meals really, things that cook themselves hahah my dp doesnt cook either and if he try's i feel like the house is going to burn down hahah hes such a stress head in the kitchen haha xxx

Growth scan done today, babe is all on target - 3lbs already and I’m feeling oz of those 3lbs!

@Confusedmermaid1 i had this!! For about 4 days. It eventually went away - my midwife said it was nothing to worry about :) hot water bottle and paracetamol and rest helped!!

Had a growth scan this morning and baby gone from 37th centile to 58th nearly 59th centile 🙈

How are you feeling? Has labour stopped?

No baby, so far I’m still getting pains a lot so I’m still having to go to Triage. My service is getting shorter, but it’s still closed. Overall, I’m feeling okay just waddling about ordering the last bits online ready if he does come how are you feeling?

Hey @Sunshinemoom so glad you’re still hanging in there and you’ve cleared 32 weeks woop woop 😀. Have they told u to rest or can u just live life normally? Awesome news on the growth scan no wonder your cervix is aching xxx

Anyone els just struggling with food and heartburn? I feel like everytime I eat i just get so much bad indigestion makes me feel ill. Ive even stopped having tea because I just crnt face food after dinner! Roll on 6 weeks hahaha xxx

@Jadeypie have you spoken to the midwife about omeprazole for the heartburn? It’s changed my life 😅 I was struggling badly with acid coming up, especially at night and rennies etc weren’t touching it at all. It’s brilliant stuff!

@Gizmo1983yes made it passed 32 weeks which I’m happy about. I have been told to rest. They think if I over do it. He come. Now I’ve reached 32 weeks, I am going for a short walk around the block. Just to help my pelvis not seize up!! Yeah makes me feel a little better if he came he would be a good size. Yeah got about 1cm of cervix they said in the last check from 2.5cm but it closed so happy with that! Xx

yes definitely get doctor to prescribe omeprazole it helps so much! I’ve recently had to up mine to one in the morning and one in the evening but it’s helped loads! Xx

@Sunshinemoom that 1cm of cervix could hold for weeks and weeks yet. I’ve had to become more active as well as my pelvis and hips were agony just sitting on my hips seems to stretch them 😜.roll on December I need to go find a pushchair and car seat lol x

@Gizmo1983oh yeah that could hold now all the way which I hope it does. 🤞🏾 yeah I was the exact same hips and pelvis were hurting so much. Not long now. Have you got any ideas what pushchair and car seat your looking for? X

@Sunshinemoom glad he's still snug inside. It must be hard having to rest when you already have a little one!
@Jadeypie sorry to hear about the heartburn, I've had it quite a bit but not as bad as your describing..yet!

We got a car seat, pram etc as a travel bundle in the black Friday sales. Offer seemed too good to be true but it has turned up and seems to work all ok.

Currently 29w+4 and I'm sure she's had a growth spurt, my bump has grown a lot in the last week.

I am good thanks, have my 32 week check up on Thursday and a growth scan on Friday.

Baby very active the last few days and bump has definitely grown. Does anyone else feel like their bump is much bigger in the evenings?

Yeh my bump feels like it doubles in size by the evening haha, his movements crnt half hurt sometimes too. Xx
