My dad is hoping I hold out to 35th as it’s his birthday 😂😂

I’m having a c section week commencing 22nd dec 🙃 I am on a waiting list for the actual day. Unless the baby makes an early appearance I am having a baby Christmas week!

I’ve gone over with my previous pregnancies so there is no hope for me avoiding Christmas 🤣

Hopefully you will all hold out!

I’ve got a GD test week I am dreading the result 😢

WildFinch · 05/11/2025 05:02

I'm due 29th January with my first. Hoping I wait for Feb, Jan feels too close to Christmas for me 🤭

I’m due 15th Jan. as it’s my first I reckon I will go over!

My first came 2 days before his due date!

My little boy has his birthday on 25th Jan and he reckons it’s a great day to have as your birthday 😁 (though when you’re 4, that’s probably the case for all days)

curliegirlie · 05/11/2025 08:27

I’m 28th January. DD1 was 4 days late and DD2 was 3 days early. I’m hoping this one will also go slightly early as, because I’m 43, they’re talking about induction on my due date. No thank you!

Sunshinemoom · 05/11/2025 09:39

Back in Triage with lower backache and low pelvis pain, but my urine still showing proteins, leukocytes and glucose so been sent off again for extra testing 😩

In shock! Wasn’t expecting it. So a swab come back positive for pre term labour so could happen within the next 7 days. They haven’t given me a plan yet just waiting for the consultant

Goodness. How many weeks are you now? Just goes to show that it’s always worth going in. I’m glad they’re admitting you and you’re in the right place. They’ll take good care of you both. Keep us posted. Xxx

I’m 30 weeks and 4 days now. Yeah, I was even saying to the consultant when he came to see me I feel like I’m wasting their time and I think it might possibly just be pelvis pain but like they said I have to come in every time I’ve got the pains and it’s a good thing that I did. I’ve just had my first steroid injection. They just making sure a bed in neonatal if he does come xx

Must be so nerve wrecking!! Im just so glad they checked you out again. So was it just like back labour pains you've been having and pressure pains? Xx

WildFinch · 05/11/2025 13:30

Oh gosh @Sunshinemoom that sounds scary but so glad you're in the right place and like others said you listened to your gut. Really hope everything goes well for you. Keep us posted when you can.

This has spurred me on a bit, we don't even have a pram or car seat yet. Let alone decorated the nursery.

Yeah. My partner just got to the hospital had to wake him as he works nights. So shocking wake up call for him. Lower back ache which was getting worse. And pressure low down as if he was going to fall out. Xx

Nursery can wait. Baby will be in with you for six months anyway so don’t stress about that. But this has spurred me on to get a hospital bag ready and make sure he’s got clothes and nappies.

Bless him! Bet he was a headless chicken with that news!! Just shows ypu can never predict what's going to happen. Your little man must just be ready to come into this world. I'll be keeping a eye on those symtoms. I was actually talking to my consultant today about the pressure and shooting pains down below ive bene having this week so if I get the backache I will be right in now after your experience so thanks for keeping us updated. Feel like we constantly learn with each others experiences in this group xxx

Thank you! I will do when I know more. They hoping he hold off to at least 34 weeks. But been told 1 in 6 chance he come the next 2 weeks.

nursery can wait at least with baby being in with you for the first 6 weeks.

@RealTealQueen definitely worth having ready just in case 🤞🏾🤞🏾

@Jadeypieyeah he was. We only have one car and I had it at the hospital with me so he had to get taxi in. Yeah can’t predict what going to happen at all. Definitely worth keeping an eye on those symptoms. Yeah I think if it was on or another wouldn’t have worried as much but as it was both happy I called triaged. Yeah we really are! Xxx
