@Sunshinemoom your just not having a break are you! Could possible be pgp! Or could be a uti hopfully results come bk soon. My backs gone tonight I had crazy pressure and lightening crotch going the school and my back and hips have not been the same since so think hes lying funny. Been midwife today and hes head down too so could be that playing a factor. I have my consultant wed with the prem team and midwife wants me to mention about a growth scan too them. Im the opposite hes measuring big. But I take them with a pinch of salt they had me down with ds being small and behind and he wasnt xx

We havnt got long! Hang in there xxx

Honestly it’s never ending. Hopefully get the results back tomorrow or Wednesday if it is uti. I brought some cranberry juice to see if it helps at all. Ouch it’s honestly so sore isn’t it. Lightening crotch the worse as well. Yeah could be because he is head down. And yeah I take them with a pinch of salt. With my first they said he be 6lbs something came out 7lbs 2oz. Every time they say my bump measuring behind I say to them I think it’s just how he’s laying. But they have to send me for check up every time. Which I do love as get to see him again! Let me know how you get on!

yeah honestly due dates are coming around so quickly now xx

Can’t believe how quickly time is going!
DH has been in the nursery this weekend pulling up flooring and taking wallpaper down. We haven’t touched that room since we moved in so we were quite surprised to discover an almost black wall 😅 it’s a start though! Ready to get the room done so we have somewhere to store her clothes and things because the little piles dotted around are starting to get on my nerves now 😂

Sorry you’re struggling @Sunshinemoom. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the physio could see me after mentioning to the midwife about the pelvic pain I was experiencing (though I totally appreciate it’s probably area dependent). If it doesn’t turn out to be a UTI it might be worth trying to be seen for PGP. Hope you feel better soon!

Gizmo1983 · 03/11/2025 20:00

@Sunshinemoom i spoke to my surgeon about pain as I have had episodes of severe pain that paracetamol and codeine don’t touch they go from front to back and in my bum. Apparently the stitch can stop the ligaments giving the way they would if the stitch wasn’t there not sure If this is it. The dr I saw pressed where my ligaments were and it is where I had the pain. I hope you’re feeling better xxx

Oh this is interesting to know and would make sense as the pain is so low down. Same as me paracetamol dint touch the pain. I’ve been prescribed something stronger now to help the pain. If I have to go triage again I will ask them about it thank you! Xxx

Oh exciting that your getting the nursery ready.

yeah I self referred myself to physio when I
was in triage to get the ball rolling if it did turn out to be pgp! Thank you. How are you coping now? Has physio helped?

Gizmo1983 · 03/11/2025 20:10

@Sunshinemoom yes my pain is very low down and on the fb page it seems quite common. The pain lasts about 3 or 4 hours with me then all of. Sudden I realise I feel sleepy and am comfy enough to actually sleep. I swear I had contraction like waves in my bum it was weird and I thought oh oh this is it. I’ve had a few episodes and get my cervix measured on Wednesdays so will see if it’s done anything. Xxx take care and rest up if u can xxx

Okay this helps me feel reassured. They did check the stitch Saturday evening and its holding and cervix is closed at least. Yes I know that exact feeling you’ve been having. I’ve had that on and off. Takes my breath away for a couple minutes then goes. Hope Wednesday goes well for you! Let me know how you get on. Yes definitely taking it easy. Xxx

@Sunshinemoom I only had my appointment this morning but she was so lovely and I’m hopeful it will help. She gave me some exercises which were personalised to me based on how I was moving etc so felt better than just googling some exercises if that makes sense.
She also pointed out that it could be because I need more support in my feet which didn’t come up in any of my googling so I’ve invested in some sketchers 😅

dubkitten · 03/11/2025 22:09

Sorry to hear so many of you are struggling with the pain.

Went back for round 2 of the glucose test today, they said I will get a call tomorrow if high and then I have to go for the longer one. Hopefully I don’t get a call!

I’ve finished all the baby shopping so just need to focus on my hospital bag. The clothes look tiny hanging in the wardrobe.

It went ok just had to drink the drink and then wait an hour for the blood test. If i have to go back I will need to fast from 8pm the night before - then go get bloods, drink the drink and then bloods on the hour for 3 hours!

I had a look at the hospital bag list and I have some of it already so hopefully not too much left to get.

Thegirlhasnamechanged · 04/11/2025 16:25

@Jadeypie I’m due on the 4th and having a section so if this baby isn’t born in December I’ll be surprised. Just hoping to make it past Christmas Day and that this baby doesn’t start spontaneous labour at 37 weeks (like her big brother did!)

I keep dreaming I have him at 35 weeks which is the beginning of December 🙈 I don’t know why I keep dreaming it though!

Confusedmermaid1 · 04/11/2025 17:06

I’ve been told multiple times in work by different people that I’ll never last until January.. none of them medical obviously just psychic apparently 😂 hoping she comes near her due date (15th Jan) just to have a bit more time between Christmas/new year and her birthday but I can see her coming the week between Christmas and New Year just to be awkward 😅 that’s only because my two closest friends had their first babies at 37 weeks so I’m convinced I’ll follow suit for no real reason..

My boss is forever telling me that she doesn’t think I’ll be still working at Christmas and that I’ll finish work early. At the moment I don’t see any reason why I wouldn’t be - I’m due to finish up 23rd Dec and not due until 15th Jan

He’s back on the 30th. Really hoping for no spontaneous delivery!!!!

I’m due 10th January but c section should be the week before if he hasn’t come early before then. I keep dreaming he comes on the 6th December but I’ve had a lot of people think I’ll have him between23-28th December.

hope baby stays put until your husband is back!!
