@hopeloveandkindness 8 weeks at the mo, hopefully 9 on Tuesday by my datesSmile

I feel like the first couple of weeks since finding out really dragged but time is moving forwards a bit quicker now. I feel like I'm on the home stretch to the 12 week scan.

LevelOneAgain · 17/08/2025 14:39

Time is mostly going really quickly for me, other than the evenings when nausea ramps up, but eveninfs are so short after DS is in bed and all chores are done. It's so different to my first pregnancy when this time, counting to 12 weeks, dragged on and on. But life is so busy now between work and toddler DS. Even so, I can't believe I'm 11 weeks today and the scan on Friday morning already.

Jumping back onto this thread after taking a few weeks to manage extreme fatigue. Work are very understanding and I’ve been able to have time off.
I’m 10+2 weeks and really hoping to feel energy return soon. As a previous busy bee 🐝 I’ve had to give myself permission to rest, let go of any obligations (imposed/self-imposed) and accept that my body and baby need me to rest. This has been so humbling and a key lesson in saying no!
Have 3 weeks till first scan, which is exciting!

Sending you all good vibes 😎

Anyone else feeling humbled and reflective of this journey so far?

Anyone experienced hives while pregnant?
On and off for me and it's driving me mad
We went to the pharmacy for antihistamines & they rightly referred me to my Dr. Dr wanted me to come in just to check it out & said it was nothing to worry about.

They said I'd probably have them pregnant or not so it's not connected but they prescribed antihistamines which cleared it up initially but they came back in full force over the weekend
I want to rip my skin off atm - hoping its just the heat 😫

Our pharmacy said they had some that didnt say "not for use while pregnant" but she didnt want to presume so thats why I went to the Dr & the Dr prescribed Fexofenadine I think it was

Cetirizine is a good over the counter antihistamine that is safe in pregnancy

Mushroo · 18/08/2025 11:25

At my booking appointment the midwife explicitly said that paracetamol and antihistamines are fine if needed.

But anything else needs to be checked.

peanutForever · 18/08/2025 11:30

Bumblebee1984 · 18/08/2025 14:02

I’m 12 weeks today and got 1 more week to wait until my scan. Time is dragging. Nausea was back last week at times maybe due to heat but better yesterday and today thankfully. Hopefully over the worst now. Just want to have the scan and be able to stop hiding it and tell people now

Hi ladies. Hope you’re all well.
I need talking down from the ledge today. I have been taking progesterone pessarys twice a day. AM normally around 8.30/9ish. Today I completely forgot and didn’t take it until 13.30.
I’m 10 weeks today. Do you think it will be okay? I’m freaking out. Have messaged my clinic for reassurance but they’re not replying quick enough!!

I forgot to take mine one night at 9pm woke up at 4am and took it, my clinic got me to take my usual at 9/10am then carry on at 9pm. I was 5 weeks then and so far (🙏🏻🤞) have been fine 😊

Bumblebee1984 · 18/08/2025 14:43

Sorry for all the posts it didn’t seem to work but then clearly posted several times

Casper94 · 18/08/2025 16:56

@Baby26 @SummerLover89 so sorry for your loss 💐

@Orangelover r fair play I can't stay out until midnight even when I'm not preggo 🤣🤣

@LevelOneAgain loneagain I know what you mean, pregnancy when you've got a toddler is very different, gone are the days of being able to nap when you want to
! 🥲

Sorry all been catching up on the thread, exhausted over here but nausea has gone now thankfully! 10 weeks tomorrow, double digits feels like an achievement 😁

WishingUponARainbow · 18/08/2025 16:58

@Hopeloveandkindness thank you so much for your reply. Glad everything was and still is okay 🥰 my clinic has just got back to me and said she’s not concerned in the slightest! Phew!

Mushroo · 19/08/2025 11:46

Has anyone done or planning to do any kind of cute pregnancy announcement?

Assuming all well in the next couple of weeks, I’m tempted to get my LO a ‘big sister’ T shirt and let her give the scan pic to my mum.

BUT it feels a bit extra and I don’t know whether to just tell her 🤷‍♀️
