Just had a positive, faint line and a 1-2 on clear blue. This puts my due date as April 2nd. Anyone else??

i have a 1 year old but it doesn’t make this pregnancy any less anxiety inducing!

Hi all, got my bfp today so tentatively joining, period isn't actually due until Thurs, but I got 4 positives all since lunchtime and having been drinking a tonne of water.
Previously had a miscarriage, I have a 19 month old, edd 8th April.
Oddly miscarried babies due date was April 1st.

Ter355a · 27/07/2025 06:02

Hi,

Congratulations all 🎊 Hope you dont mind me jumping on this thread.

I took a test 22nd July with a very very faint line. Took another Friday and its definitely positive. Had 2 MCs earlier this year so reluctant to be excited just yet. EDD is 2nd April. I've been put on progesterone to help and have an early scan booked in for 8th Aug.

MrsF111 · 27/07/2025 07:27

Another chemical for me unfortunately 💔💔 wishing everyone on here a successful pregnancy

ElleiNad89 · 27/07/2025 08:24

I’ve tested positive this weekend and Flo has my due date as the 6th April 🙂 currently feeling nauseous like motion sickness and headaches!

DenimBeee · 27/07/2025 11:42

Hi all, Amazing there is so many of us already, I am due 2nd April, this will be my second baby but is my third pregnancy. A little anxious, but amazed as this was our first time trying for this baby..with my daughter it was a long 3yr process. She will be 5.5yr in April. She loves having all of my attention so this will be a huge change for her but hopefully one that she will love once accustomed!! Good luck everyone x

GrapefruitZest · 28/07/2025 09:07

Hi all, tentatively joining. Due date is 5th April, all going well it’ll be my second, I’ve already got a 3yo and I had a MC in May. As it’s very early days and after what’s already happened, I’m not getting carried away this time, but really hoping for the best outcome. Bit concerned about a CP as my lines aren’t getting very dark yet. There does seem to be some progression though and I know it’s not an exact science, so trying not to worry about it too much

Nytch · 28/07/2025 09:08

SmartiesParty · 24/07/2025 20:32

Congrats all! Fingers crossed for everyone, I feel the anxiety too

@Nytchthats very exciting and fast! This happened with my first and I have to say for me i totally wasn’t prepared but actually what would have helped is looking at the first two years of a child’s life and where they get to as I had no clue and took each day at a time. Do you know other kids as I think that definitely helps

Yes, we know quite a few other children, that's a good idea thanks!

Felt crampy and and a little queasy a few days ago, but yesterday I just mostly felt exhausted despite a decent nights sleep. Fingers crossed feeling OK today so far!

hollyhocks2 · 28/07/2025 13:15

Hi everyone, really glad to have found you. I had a faint line at 10DPO last Sunday, have tested every other day since and am cautiously optimistic about the line progression. Like many of you I've had losses - 2 early mc in the last year since I started trying for my 2nd DC so it's a very strange tightrope of feeling so pleased but also so wary. EDD 2 April like lots of you! I also did a digital last week that said 1-2 so I will do another later this week and hope for an upgrade! Lots and lots of luck and strength to everyone, this can be a rough ride.

@MrsF111 so so sorry - it's very cruel to have the bubble burst. Take care of yourself.

SmartiesParty · 28/07/2025 20:23

@MrsF111sorry to hear that. Wishing you luck

I had a scan at the hospital today and they could see a sac! To be expected with an early April due date. I have another scan booked in next week to look for development (yolk etc) and to check viability

@SmartiesParty so pleased all is in the right location and looking good so far. That's a good hurdle to get past. I've got a GP phone appt tomorrow morning to discuss possible progesterone and I wonder if she'll refer me for a scan before prescribing that. I would like one around 8 weeks but will do a private one if need be.

Anyone else too nervous to book in with the midwife? It's self referral here via email and I am not ready yet.

SmartiesParty · 28/07/2025 22:15

@hollyhocks2definitely too nervous to book in. I don’t know what I’m waiting for though, do you have a milestone before you do it?

OP posts:
hollyhocks2 · 28/07/2025 22:28

Hmm 5w and 8w are my milestones - they're my previous losses. But I shouldn't really wait to past 8w to book in! I'll see how the GP appt goes and go from there. One day at a time.

Yes im very nervous to book in too after having 2 previous losses. I have been putnon progesterone already and have a scan booked next week with EPU. Once I know everything is ok, ill book midwife.

It’s stupid of me to join this thread. It’s so early , but we’ve been trying for 15months and I’ve only had one chemical in that time.

I got my BFP this morning and I’m too scared of the disappointment to even tell my partner. I wanted just to post here when I can be excited with people who are excited and if it doesn’t work out no one but me will truly be hurt.

Its the only safe space to indulge the hope that this might really be it 🤞🫶🤞

Due April 2026
GrapefruitZest · 29/07/2025 08:02

@Tilly35TTC15mths I get that, I had a MMC in May and it’s so hard to be excited about this one after going through that. I’ve known since Friday and finally told my husband last night, and it’s actually made me feel loads better so I’ve done my referral to the midwife now!
I’m really trying my best to accept no amount of worry or excitement is going to change the outcome. It’s not easy though!

hollyhocks2 · 29/07/2025 08:53

@Tilly35TTC15mths tentative congratulations ❤️ well done persevering all this time. I totally understand where your head is at but I bet he'd want to know and support you. What DPO are you?

Tilly35TTC15mths · 29/07/2025 10:11

Thanks guys 🥰🫣.

@GrapefruitZest @hollyhocks2 you’re both right. It’s also that irrational part of my brain that says if I don’t say it out loud in the real world I won't jynx it and that by not fully acknowledge it, I can somehow protect myself from the disappointment if it doesn’t work out.

But you're right, I will be gutted and better that we’re in it together for better or worse. He also deserves to know. I'll tell him tonight after work 🫶.

Sorry to hear about your MMC @GrapefruitZest, it’s tough. 🤞🤞 for both of us.

I don’t really know my DPO as my cycle has been very irregular. I either conceived around CD 19, 24 or 25 and on CD31 now so 12DPO or 6/7DPO (I had a lot of EWCM on day 19 but app predicted day 24/25 for ovulation - I was moving house and couldn’t find my OPK so it’s the one month I don’t know when my LH peaked.🫣)

hollyhocks2 · 29/07/2025 12:19

@Tilly35TTC15mths I'm excited for you to tell him.

I had my GP appt this morning, she's spoken to EPU and is prescribing progesterone and they've invited me in for a scan at 6w exactly. She's being really supportive, feel v lucky. All my tests have now come back, all normal, so I think I'm allowed to imagine that this could all work out beautifully... 🤞🏼

@Ter355a are you having any side effects from the progesterone, how are you finding it? Never used pessaries before. Also I just looked back and saw your scan is 8 aug, that's the same as me, we have the same edd and we've both had 2 losses. I found out 2 days before you. Only on mumsnet can you find someone in exactly the same situation as you!

Bibiddi · 29/07/2025 13:27

@MrsF111 I’m so sorry for your loss. Keeping you in my prayers

pistachiopastry · 29/07/2025 14:21

Hi all, congratulations on all the BFPs!!

Tentatively joining, I am due sometime around 2-3 April I think. Not totally sure on ovulation date as my cycles aren’t totally regular as I’m still breastfeeding my 9 month old.
If all goes well (I also had a MC before DC1 so am aware it’s still very early days) then they will have an 18 month age gap….! Eek! Happened a little quicker than expected but still very excited. The gap between my current two DC is 22 months.

My symptoms this time have included hot flushes which I didn’t have in my other pregnancies. Before I found out I was pregnant (in the TWW), it did cross my mind that maybe I was prematurely perimenopausal due to the hot flushes 😂😂😂

I’m looking forward to doing this journey together!

MrsKirb · 29/07/2025 14:23

2nd April here too and also stupidly anxious and counting down the days until a scan. Trying to wait until 8 weeks for a private scan but it feels a lifetime away.

Congratulations! I think there are a few of us due 2nd April. I still have absolutely zero symptoms so also counting down to get a private scan🤞🏻

hollyhocks2 · 29/07/2025 17:15

Welcome @pistachiopastry and @MrsKirb
The whole thing of TTC is so much waiting and we're still in the waiting game now. Can anyone concentrate on work? I'm glad I'm on holiday soon, although I do also feel slightly nervous about being away from home and hospital if anything worrying happens. We'll be in the UK but it's remote and we won't have a car.

Ter355a · 29/07/2025 19:18

@hollyhocks2 I did have a bit of spotting the 2nd day using progesterone but im not sure if i inserted it too far and caused an irritation or it could have been implantation. It only lasted a few hours and went away. Im finding it really good so far. I've never used them either. On my last MC they advised next time to call straight away and ill be put on them which I thought was good as I've heard some people had to wait until they were 6 weeks.

Ohh are you? Mine is at 9am. Keeping everything crossed for us that everything is ok 🤞 how mental is that! Dont come across that very often.

samsonthekitten · 29/07/2025 20:08

Joining cautiously - I would be due April 3rd
