I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

Thanks @TheFutureIs and @FlossiePot91
I know I was probably just overreacting, the fear just felt so real and the possibility of the worst way too close for comfort last night, and I do feel a lot better today mentally! Still cramping but I know that’s normal and no bleeding so I know that’s a good sign!
Hope everyone is doing ok! 💖

peanutForever · 06/07/2025 18:29

Hiya could i join? Im due mid march have one DS4

SouthhernDoll93 · 06/07/2025 20:46

Due with my first March 2026! I tried for 5 years with a previous partner to fall, was told by a dr I would need clomid to ovulate... and 5 months into a new relationship and I've fallen naturally. Currently 5w1d and terrified. I've had close relatives who have experienced losses, and due to my history I just can't stop feeling anxious! Any tips? I've booked a private scan for when I'm 8 weeks (wanted to be sure there would be a visible heartbeat and I wouldn't have to wait 2 weeks not knowing for a rescan if it couldn't be seen, as throughout my fertility testing I always had a tilted uterus!) But I've no idea how to cope with the anxiety until then!

Hollandy182 · 06/07/2025 21:51

Hi All! Can't quite believe it but I am joining you all with a estimated March 2026 due date. We've been trying for about 3.5 years since my 1st was 1 year old. I have PCOS and very irregular cycles (19 days - 90 days) my guess on due date is from ovulation testing and when the line first showed on tests. I think I am 4 weeks 5 days.

So bloated already! and yes waking at 4 or 5 am full of energy for about an hour and then tired the rest of the day - already having midday naps this weekend (no idea how I am going to cope at work this week)

Constant anxiety about potential chemical with line progressing slowly and everything that could go wrong but I'm pretty amazed we've managed to get to this point as it is!

The wait for midwives to get in touch or get that first appointment seems so much longer this time round. Even with a 4 year old to keep me occupied.

Welcome to all new people! It seems a few of us are 4 + 5

Is the Facebook group still working? I clicked on the link but it didn't work

peanutForever · 06/07/2025 22:31

@OneHappyBrickSnailive had this two days in a row and its exhausting, then i have nausea at certain times of the day around 10am & 3pm its so strange

@bookworm24i recommend yorkshire decaf, i love regular tea but realised i could be pregnant when it tasted more leafy than tea

Bumblebee1984 · 07/07/2025 05:27

Welcome to all the new joiners.

@Scribblespreei don’t think a massage gun would have done anything at all. Cramping can be totally normal and glad it’s eased now. Also there’s no bleeding alongside. I know it’s so easy to worry though.

@Hollandy182how long do you have to wait to get your appointment date? I got mine as soon as I called up at 4+1. So happy it’s finally happened for you after so long trying

@SouthhernDoll93if it helps reassure you, my mum had several miscarriages before she had me. I was a bit worried with my first but I’ve been very fortunate to not experience any in my 3 times of ttc

Scribblespree · 07/07/2025 06:20

@SouthhernDoll93 Gosh, it must feel so surreal to have tried for 5 years with one partner and now be pregnant with your new one - congratulations, I’m so happy you were able to in the end!
@BeastAngelMadwoman as far as I’m aware the group is still definitely working. I joined it last week! Maybe try the link again on different browser?
@Bumblebee1984 thank ou xx
@peanutForever and @Hollandy182 welcome! ☺️

Hi everyone, got my positive test about 10 days ago now, still can’t quite believe it. My husband and I had to put things on hold for about 6 months with moving jobs etc (need to make sure we get maternity pay!) but managed to get pregnant on the first go! I’m turning 38 this month so really glad it didn’t take long and all looks to be going well so far. At the moment due date is the 7th March, have booked an 8 week scan on the 25th so really excited for that as it’s our first so all new.

rollup · 07/07/2025 12:41

Hello! I’m tentatively joining - got a positive test today, EDD mid- March. Had a tragic MC in Feb so trying to keep level headed, but delighted to hopefully welcome baby #2. It’s been a while since all this, so wondering wether to keep testing or what to do first? Wishing everyone happy healthy babies

IHaveItPrintedOut · 07/07/2025 13:15

Hello, wondering if I can joint the crew! Just found out today I'm pregnant with our 2nd, EDD 14th March. DS is 3 in September :)

TheFutureIs · 07/07/2025 13:47

More the merrier! Congratulations

LevelOneAgain · 07/07/2025 15:32

Hello, can I join please? Think I'm due #2 early-mid March. Joined Mumsnet at my lowest lows after DS who's now a fantastic (mostly!) almost 3yo. So despite 14 months to get here, I can't believe I'm here!

Excited, nervous, minor cramping.

peanutForever · 07/07/2025 16:31

Ahh @IHaveItPrintedOuti feel like ive been pregnant forever i found out at arounz 8dpo lol! But DD seems on the 13th March so not that far back

ladies when did you get your 3+ on digis if youre doing xx

Everythingisokay · 07/07/2025 18:09

Similar situation - this will be #2 and we've had 1 MMC and 3 chemicals all together. Sorry for your loss 💕

IHaveItPrintedOut · 07/07/2025 20:09

@peanutForeverI was delayed testing as in-laws have been here over the weekend 😂 was already 3 days late by the time we got round to it, can't believe the will power!

yayimallama · 07/07/2025 21:18

tentatively joining....tested positive last weekend, will be baby number 2! Slightly shocked because ive just turned 40 and it took over a year, 1 mmc and 3 chemicals to conceive my DS, this time it was just one month of trying....and not even trying that hard! We were going to properly start this month 😂feeling a bit anxious because of my history and my age, but tests are getting darker so i feel like im hopefully safe from a chemical. I think im 4+4 today, EDD around 12th of March :)

Bumblebee1984 · 08/07/2025 05:34

Welcome all the new joiners yesterday and congratulations.

@peanutForeverthats so early. Think I was 11dpo but thought I might be from around 9dpo but was on holiday so waited to test. @IHaveItPrintedOutwow that is willpower.

@yayimallamaI’m also 40. A few of us on here are older.

@peanutForeveri haven’t done any digitals and have stopped testing but think ideally you wdd add by to be around 6 weeks pregnant I think. I’ll be 6 weeks tomorrow

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 08/07/2025 07:17

@peanutForever I haven’t got 3+ yet, hoping to get it in the next few days ☺️

@IHaveItPrintedOut @LevelOneAgain sounds like we are on the same timelines. First babies about to turn 3, next one hopefully here in March 🥰

Baby26 · 08/07/2025 07:35

Anyone else pregnant with an already 3 year old? I wanted a closer gap but it wasn't meant to be (this is hopefully my rainbow baby!) DS will be 4 by the time this one comes along.

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 08/07/2025 07:56

@peanutForever to update I got my 3+ this morning. Not too sure on dates but at a guess I’m just over 5 weeks xx

ohthegrandolddukeofyork · 08/07/2025 08:03

@Baby26i have that age gap with DD7 and DS3 and will have that age gap between DS3 and this one too. I love the age gap and I know most people aim for a smaller gap but honestly it’s been great for us. DD was big enough to help out, started school while I was on Mat leave so I could do all the school runs and despite a ‘big gap’ they really are the best of friends and play so nicely together. I think a lot does come down to personalities but it’s worked well for us for far. And like I say, we’ll have the gap again with my youngest and this new baby too.

FlossiePot91 · 08/07/2025 08:31

I think 3+ years is a good age gap, there’s 4 years between me and my sister and apart from a bit of rivalry when we were younger we’ve always got on well.
We’ll have 2 years between ours, DS is 2 in December 🙈 I wanted them close but have some worries now 🤣

ZoeOutdoors · 08/07/2025 09:15

I am so anxious this time 😔 tests are darker than when I had a miscarriage and I have symptoms when i didn't then so I should feel reassured but any twinges I get on my side i just assume its ectopic. Any advice on how to stop obsessing?
