I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

Hi everyone, I’m 41 (this will be my 3rd!) and I think I’m 5w+2 based on ovulation.
Really nervous as have had a MMC in the past and a chemical pregnancy last month. I don’t have much sickness this time - has anyone else found that symptoms come and go?

I'm 32, this will be my 3rd too! I also had a MMC towards the end of last year so also super nervous, I've just booked in a private scan for when I will be 9 weeks, im 6+1 today i think. They said the last one stopped between 8&9 weeks but we didn't find out until 12 weeks, so I figured at least I can hopefully get some reassurance if we pass that timescale and not have the agonising wait until 12 weeks!
My nausea has only just started the last few days and it's just waves, mainly in the morning and evening.

ZoeOutdoors · 04/07/2025 19:40

Nice to see some are third babies so we can discuss fitting in all the car seats 😅

RT1620 · 04/07/2025 19:50

Hi everyone due 7 March. Had miscarriage surgery in may as baby sadly was confirmed to have pataus syndrome :( hoping for our rainbow baby. I had a strong bfp at 9dpo so now wondering if it’s twins 🤦🏼‍♀️ will be our third baby and I’m 36 :) x

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 04/07/2025 20:28

To add to the above conversation - this will be our second living child if we make it to the end. Though technically my 3rd baby as one was born sleeping ❤️

on another note, how are we all tackling the bloat? It is ridiculous! I’m struggling to hide it already 😩

bookworm24 · 04/07/2025 22:23

Sorry to hear about your scan @PBandJellySandwichand I really hope you get some positive results in two weeks.

welcome @Apricotjam23@RT1620😊

@Peanutbutterjelly123try some peppermint tea for the bloating. I am suffering too and looked way to big with it yesterday .

those with the pre-mom app are you paying for the premium or just using without. I had it with premium when ttc but that ran out end of June and unsure whether to pay for premium again.

Bumblebee1984 · 05/07/2025 06:21

@PBandJellySandwich also so sorry to hear about your scan and that you have to wait for a while for the next scan. Really hoping that one is more positive.

welcome @Apricotjam23 and @RT1620yes so glad to see I’m not the only one expecting my 3rd and also nice to have some older mums in this together too. We will need to get a new car end of the year to fit in the 3 kids. Although my daughter is now on a booster seat so not quite as chunky

@Peanutbutterjelly123I also use peppermint tea

yesterday I seemed to notice a much stronger sense of smell for some things and especially petrol when filling up the car. Made me feel ill. Was similar with petrol last time. A couple waves of nausea last couple days but not much which is good. 5+3 now.

Everythingisokay · 05/07/2025 06:44

Hi ladies,

I had a missed MC, a chemical and a successful pregnancy.
Since we starting trying for a baby number #2, I've had two chemicals and tested positive again on Tuesday but it's early days, I'm not even 4 weeks yet!
Re-tested on Thursday and the line was a bit darker. Will need to retest today but I've been so stressed, upset and tearful it won't work.

The stress of TTC has really gotten to me...
Hopefully I'll be able to join a bit more confidently once I miss my period.

Everythingisokay · 05/07/2025 06:45

@PBandJellySandwich
Wishing you all the best and hope you'll be returning with good news 💕

I also have this with petrol this time! Drove past a station & heaved. My nausea seems stronger earlier this time (5 weeks today) though it’s not constant, seems to go for a while after eating.

for the bloat I’m already wearing baggy stuff. Is anyone else planning to tell work later than 12 weeks? So hard to hide! Xx

OneHappyBrickSnail · 05/07/2025 09:20

I keep waking up really really early (4am one day) and unable to go back to sleep, is anyone else like this? I’m then shattered all day.

Not complaining at all as we have hoped and prayed for this for two years but it just seems like quite a strange symptom that I never had with my first.

Scribblespree · 05/07/2025 09:51

bookworm24 · 04/07/2025 13:15

@Scribblespreewelcome cycle twin 😊 yes it will be interesting to see if our dates change after our scan. My cycles were only 24 days long but I did ovulate on cycle day 14 so should still be the 10th March. But you never know.

I am more a tea drinker but also trying to wean myself to two a day and trying to have decaf instead.
For everyone with bloating as am also suffering with this try some peppermint tea one or two cups a day to help with this.
My nipples have started to be very sensitive the last few days, and otherwise have had loads of bloating and feeling so hungry all the time 🫣.
With my last pregnancy I had pelvic girdle pain from 5 weeks so hoping that I won’t get it that early this time round 🤞.
Hope everyone is coping ok with this heat.

@bookworm24 when it comes to decaf tea, I highly recommend Ringtons! Best tasting/most flavourful decaf tea I’m come across as most decafs are a bit bland

@OneHappyBrickSnail yes!! Happened to me the last 2 nights! So annoying. Don’t know if it’s physical symptom of pregnant or because my mind is constantly whirring about the fact that I am pregnant! 😅

I’m just using the free version of Premom

TheFutureIs · 05/07/2025 10:18

@OneHappyBrickSnail yes!!! Up for a few wees most nights then not able to sleep from about 5am.
I’m off to an a day festival, not sure if I’ll make the end (only 10:30) 🤣🤣
Definitely don’t remember this with my first, but I’ve never slept deeply like I used to since becoming a mum

Im almost 6 weeks still getting some light cramps that come and go nothing alarming but freaks me out anyone else?

MummyV2021 · 05/07/2025 17:53

@abbtighe I’ve been having some twinges and dull cramps yesterday and today, only 4+4 so it’s freaking me out given my previous losses! I’m sure it’s totally normal and I’m trying to not read too much into it.

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 05/07/2025 19:03

Another one here having cramps and twinges. Have had the odd sharper pain too.
I know it can all be normal, but doesn’t ease any anxiety. Sorry if this is TMI but I also have loads of CM so keep thinking I’m wet and bleeding then it’s just that 😔

bookworm24 · 05/07/2025 19:36

@Scribblespreethanks for the recommendation will try that tea.
i have also been having light cramping on and off for the last week even but also know it can be normal. I vaguely remember having it in my other pregnancies but is still a bit nerve racking.

I've had that type of wetness all day today too! It's a very anxiety ridden time this first bit

Dejavu2025 · 05/07/2025 20:44

Just got my digital bfp today at 10dpo. Got faints from 8dpo. This was a complete shock!!! But I just knew I was due to my sense of smell. Eeek!!!!!

Baby26 · 05/07/2025 20:50

Tentatively joining.

Hi everyone!
Got a positive at 9DPO today. Last cycle i had a chemical pregnancy, but the line today was stronger than the ones I got with my chemical pregnancy, so taking that as a good sign. I also had a MC in January at nearly 12 weeks. The chemical was our first try again, so have been very lucky to fall easily everytime, but very anxious about more losses.
I have a 3 year old DS. Never had any issues back then with losses!

Welcome @Dejavu2025 and @Baby26 !!

Ladies, I had an awful night last night. So I have been having on and off cramping since before my missed period and so far they’ve not concerned me at all, it’s felt like normal natural thing. But last night, I randomly woke up at like 1am with a full bladder; went to empty it and when I came back to bed I had the WORST cramps ever! Like first day of my period kind of cramps (the ones you can’t help but associate with a big fresh bleed coming your way) that felt quite different to the ones I had been having. And they would not stop or die down, so then I couldn’t sleep not just for the discomfort but also the stress of what that might mean. Had used a massage gun on the tops of my thighs earlier that day and couldnt help but worry the intense vibrations had potentially disturbed the pregnancy to a fatal extent and couldn’t believe how stupid I’d been!
I ended up taking 1 paracetamol and eventually managed to drift off but slept so poorly. Immediately took a pregnancy test when I got up this morning for reassurance that the lines hadn’t gotten fainter, though if the cramps were the start of something sinister I don’t even know if the lines necessarily would have got lighter yet. Anyway, I feel a little bit more reassured now it’s morning but still a bit freaked out.
I’m 4 weeks 5 days today and this is my first pregnancy so feel very naive and having nothing to compare anything too. Has anyone had really bad painful cramping before in their previous/current pregnancy and it had been fine?? Is the massage gun potentially bad news and I should stay away in future for the remainder of pregnancy? I also wonder if having that really full bladder may have triggered the cramping after I’d peed it?

This early stage feels so precarious and last night was the first time I’ve felt emotionally stressed about it (rather than logically stressed if that makes sense) and spent the night suppressing silent tears as I didn’t want to panic my partner any more than I already had.

TheFutureIs · 06/07/2025 11:09

Can’t imagine a massage gun will have caused anything @Scribblespree but I do get your worrying. Try to remember, the cervix does a wonderful jobs b of keeping everything where it should be!
Lots of things can cause
cramping during early pregnancy so please
do try not to worry.

FlossiePot91 · 06/07/2025 12:04

@Scribblespreethe cramping can be all sorts of things at this point, with my DS I was told unless it’s really bad pains / accompanied by heavy bleeding then you shouldn’t worry. It doesn’t make it any easier, it’s such an exciting / stressful time these early days. I’m still so anxious every time I wipe 😭 Hope everyone’s doing ok 😘
