I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

@MummyV2021i also did their digital hypno birthing course and also really enjoyed it. As you say its really informative

@HennyPenny27and @RiverThunderI read hypnobirthing - practical ways to make your birth better by Siobhan miller. The positive birth book by Milli Hill and the positive breastfeeding book by Amy Brown whilst pregnant with my first. Found them really good. I also did the positive birth company digital hypnobirthing course which I really enjoyed and found really informative. They also provide templates for birth plans and things like that too

Thank you!! ✨Added those books to my basket to get later. Will also check out digital the hypno birthing course too

Hallo Ladies 😊
Hope you don’t mind if I join?
Tested positive yesterday and today - nice strong lines and period due on Sunday (which hopefully won’t come). Have a Tommy’s calculated due date of mid March. All very exciting!
I’m about to turn 38, this will be first bubba 🥰
Currently researching next steps and fun books to buy, would love some recs.
DH and I are currently enjoying this lil secret!
Nice to meet you all x

I’m currently weighing up how to cut down on caffeine :/

Milli Hill- Give Birth Like a Feminist

It's great!

Love that fact that so many of us are in mid 30s and up ☺️. Curious to know what apps everyone is using to track their pregnancies?

thehealthhound · 03/07/2025 21:30

Hello mamas to be! I’m 4+5, due 4 March with my second, have a 3 year old DS. This was a happy accident so all been a bit of a surprise. I’ve had 3 early losses before DS and was on progesterone with him so have been feeling anxious this time. I had red bleeding 1 day after my first positive (I had walked up a steep hill pushing buggy) then around 6 days of brown spotting which has stopped & tests getting stronger. Hoping for my 3+ digi tomorrow 🙏🏼have a scan next Saturday at EPU and hope they will offer progesterone again. Reassuring to hear others have had spotting too and are older - I’m 36. Nausea has kicked in early for me and getting stronger each day so got knows what it’ll be like at 6 weeks! Xx

FlossiePot91 · 04/07/2025 05:33

Hi Ladies, think I’ll be joining you all on this journey 🥰
EDD 12th March, this will be our second.

TheFutureIs · 04/07/2025 07:11

Same as my current EDD @FlossiePot91

Thanks for the book recc’s @MummyV2021@BeastAngelMadwoman x Looking forward to reading into hypnobirthing.
Have ordered Real Food for Pregnancy, as I enjoyed the Real Food for Fertility book. Also am a big foodie and things already taste different, so am looking to experiment.

@Renee33Im also interested in some good apps to use. Looking into one that shows what’s going on by week

FlossiePot91 · 04/07/2025 11:49

For the apps I have 3 on the go 🤣
Flo, Glow & Pre-Mom. I’d probably say I used premom the most last time round as it doesn’t have as many adds popping up.

TheFutureIs · 04/07/2025 12:22

I use Premom as I used it to help conception. Helped me get my positive in my 4th cycle after coming off the pill. Not bad for 42!

This was my first month using premom for ovulation tests after a fair amount of ttc so was very effective!

I used Flo (mainly because I’d used it for years pre TTC to track my periods) and Premom. Premom was at superior mainly because it was easy to log my ovulation tests and then ot actually gave me an accurate O date and predicted date for next period. Flo was not as good but found it far more user friendly to log my symptoms on so still used it for that.

bookworm24 · 04/07/2025 13:15

@Scribblespreewelcome cycle twin 😊 yes it will be interesting to see if our dates change after our scan. My cycles were only 24 days long but I did ovulate on cycle day 14 so should still be the 10th March. But you never know.

I am more a tea drinker but also trying to wean myself to two a day and trying to have decaf instead.
For everyone with bloating as am also suffering with this try some peppermint tea one or two cups a day to help with this.
My nipples have started to be very sensitive the last few days, and otherwise have had loads of bloating and feeling so hungry all the time 🫣.
With my last pregnancy I had pelvic girdle pain from 5 weeks so hoping that I won’t get it that early this time round 🤞.
Hope everyone is coping ok with this heat.

TheFutureIs · 04/07/2025 13:27

The bloating is insane! And the hunger and the insomnia/ peeing in the night

OP posts:
FlossiePot91 · 04/07/2025 13:33

Ahh the peeing, I should have known there was something going on before my BFP. We recently got a new mattress so was finally sleeping well and now this 🙈🤣

ohthegrandolddukeofyork · 04/07/2025 13:36

Hi everyone! I’ve been lurking and have joined the FB group but haven’t got round to posting yet.

I had a positive test on June 16th but period wasn’t due until 23rd so a whole week ‘early’. I tested because I felt very pregnant - fatigue, nausea and other symptoms I’ve had in previous pregnancies. Yet I was a week early which feels way too early for symptoms. My last period was 5 days late and I wondering whether I might be further along than I think and that maybe my ‘last period’ wasn’t really a period after all? My dates suggest my EDD is March 2nd and I’m 5+4 but honestly I’ve felt rough for two weeks so I’m doubting it. I know I should just get an early scan but wondering if anyone else had symptoms this early on? I kinda don’t want to get too excited that I’m further along than I am to then be brought back down to earth if my dates are right.

as an aside, how is everyone else managing to cope with the slog that is the first trimester? The days drag and everyone says it goes quicker once it’s your second, third etc but I’m not feeling that!

MummyV2021 · 04/07/2025 13:47

Welcome @ohthegrandolddukeofyork and congrats!! On the dates/symptoms... I would still go off your last suspected period for now as I did have nausea from about a week before my period was due with 2 of my pregnancies that ended early (one at 4+1 - like you, only tested because of the nausea and one at 6 weeks). I'm currently 4+3 and have had ZERO symptoms other than peeing in the night A LOT!! Best to temper your hopes and maybe book an early scan for around when you should be 7 weeks and see. How long were you having symptoms for before you tested??

Timing wise, I would say it's going quick for me at the moment (quicker than the TWW anyway!!) but I am super busy at work which helps. I'm booked in for an early scan at 6+1 (due to going away with family and wanting to know beforehand) and I imagine time will drag between now and then!

Thanks for the tip about the peppermint tea! Will give it a try.
I have to say the only symptoms I’ve experienced so far are sore nipples (but they’re not crazy sore or tingley like I’ve heard they are for some, at last not yet), had some unconfortable constipated like pains in my tummy area fairly frequency even though I am managing to still ‘go’ every day, and the only other thing is increased burping which is very unusual for me. But in terms of nausea and fatigue there’s been no difference to my usual. I’m usually always quite prone to nausea (only for short periods of time), usually feel tired from work and am usually always starving hungry so I’m 100% certain that any experince of those three things are still all within my normal ranges.
Then again I am ONLY 4 weeks and 3 days so it’s not like I should expect anything even though I know some people get symptoms that soon.
Pelvic girdle pain at 5 weeks sounds awfully uncomfortable and unfortunate to experience so early! Hope you manage to avoid that this time!! 🤞

I find this such an interesting indicator of early pregnancy!

PBandJellySandwich · 04/07/2025 14:19

Hi ladies, I'm going to bow out of the group for now as my scan this morning showed a twin pregnancy, but one had already gone and was just an irregular sac and the other had a yolk sac but is measuring behind and doesn't look great either. I have a repeat scan in 2 weeks, so if by some miracle anything has changed I'll be back!

Wishing everyone happy and healthy pregnancies x

Oh I am so so sorry to hear this! That’s such sad news. I do hope things improve for the second yolk sac by the time of the second second scan and you’ll be back with us in 2 weeks time. In the meantime, do take good care of yourself xx

MummyV2021 · 04/07/2025 14:59

Really sorry to hear that @PBandJellySandwich I imagine the next 2 weeks will be an agonising wait for you. I do hope things progress with the 2nd sac and we find you back here in a couple of weeks! Sending you lots of love xx

Mountainview8 · 04/07/2025 15:49

Sorry to hear that @PBandJellySandwich and I hope you get some positive news at the next scan.

I've been feeling bloated the last few days, but could also be the increase in cake at work events 😂 I use the pre-mom app and the app connected to my smart watch, where like @ZoeOutdoors my heart rate increase is an early indicator!

Apricotjam23 · 04/07/2025 16:30

Hi everyone, I’m 41 (this will be my 3rd!) and I think I’m 5w+2 based on ovulation.
Really nervous as have had a MMC in the past and a chemical pregnancy last month. I don’t have much sickness this time - has anyone else found that symptoms come and go?
