I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

Update. Beta was 3366. Pretty low unfortunately from what I’ve read online but clinic say there’s no concern.

That’s still such a great number for how far you are and a lot higher than your last test 🙏🏻🤞

mumtrovert · 19/07/2025 17:55

Mummysparrow · 19/07/2025 14:45

@mumtrovertthat sounds like a great number for 6 weeks. The importance is that your numbers are increasing at at good speed. When was the last blood draw and how high was your HCG then?

Thanks. I think it’s just because everything I’m reading, most people are 15k+. I had one at 13dp5dt which is equivalent to 18dpo, which was 363. Then one at 15dpt (20dpo) which was 719. This last one was last Friday.

Mummysparrow · 19/07/2025 17:58

@mumtrovertita always hard not to compare but they numbers are increasing at a really good rate. I vaguely remember being around 5000hcg with my daughter at 5+4. Numbers can be a lot lower at 6 weeks and still be viable as long as the numbers are pretty much doubling every 48 hours

mumtrovert · 19/07/2025 18:02

@Mummysparrow thank you, I appreciate the reassurance. Time will tell I suppose, there’s nothing we can do about it x

bookworm24 · 19/07/2025 20:02

Have also a been quiet on here but struggling with exhaustion during work days and trying to keep
nausea at bay. No more worries about drinking any caffeine as can’t stomach milk at present at all so no tea at moment. Also struggling what to eat for breakfast normally have porridge but just can’t stomach it. Toast and jam seem to be the only thing that settles the nausea. Think when I get hungry I also feel nauseas so need to ensure to have snacks often. Have tried cyclzine but it’s not helping too much with nausea. Tried xonvea last night and it knocked me out for most of the day as so sleepy with it. Not feeling any nausea but won’t be able to work with those side affects.

Welcome to everyone new on the thread.

peanutForever · 19/07/2025 20:16

For anyone who may be stressed over Clearblue Digitals, I found this article, which is interesting and, i think, reassuring Clearblue digitals weeks indicator
I still haven't taken another since 5+1 but I'm going to test again tomorrow at 5+4. Then I will stop obsessing!

Detailed info about clearblue weeks indicator digital

Taken from another board - very interesting read: There seems to be some confusion about what the results of this test mean. I'll try to clear things up.…

Hey girls.
Joining the thread with a potential mid March baby.
Although I've.done nothing but worry since I got my positive.
All was fine , positive 6th July , with a strong line and a 1-2 on CBD.
The next weekend I got a 2-3 so thrilled.
Wednesday just gone, went to do my last tests , and surprised to see 1-2 on CBD and barely any line on the usual test. Rang epu and they said it's probably a chemical pregnancy.

Go a 2 pack to test again...
Friday back to 2-3 and strong positives.
Today back to 1-2. But both strong positives on usual tests.

Haven't really got any pregnancy symptoms apart from back ache and dull tummy ache.
So I'm fearing the worst .
I've just booked an early scan for 30th when I'll be 7+2.

Just feel in limbo with it.

woke up with some bleeding this morning 😓 which seems to be mostly brown but some red. Boobs aren’t feeling sore which they have been for the last two weeks so feeling panicked. I know a few people in this group have had bleeding - was planning on contacting out of hours or does anyone have any other suggestions? EPU only Mon - Fri xx

Baby26 · 20/07/2025 06:59

@ThisZippyViewer sorry you are having this worry! I had a lot of both brown discharge and red blood (one time was a huge gush at night, then another more like a period) with my little boy. I think EPU would probably tell you to monitor it in the mean time anyway, until you get a scan. Of course, if it gets anyway worse today, then I'd ring OOH. For now, although it's always worrying, it doesn't sound like an emergency. The times I've bled, they've always told me to monitor and ring if it gets worse.

Baby26 · 20/07/2025 07:00

I'm 5+4 today and took another Clearblue Digital. 3 days ago was 2-3, now 3+!

ThisZippyViewer · 20/07/2025 07:05

@Baby26 thank you so much for your reply it is super helpful 😘😘
just have to sit tight today and see how things go 🙏

That is reassuring, I got 3+ yesterday at 5 weeks 6 days I was not wanting to take due to how unreliable they have been!!

I had brown and red bleeding that last a few hours at 9 days post transfer it’s so worrying but as long as not accompanied by bad pains etc I was told to just monitor it. Obv if it gets really heavy I would contact 111

Hi so sorry your going through that could you not get your HcG done that would give you more clarity. When I had my chemical in April my tests where very faint and only 1-2 clear blue and my HcG come back at only 5 so I knew. Seems more accurate than the tests as they seem to be very random and set a lot of anxiety off it

Hi how far a long are you? That sounds awful. I have had nausea when I first wake up I’m 6 weeks today then when I eat tend to have like you toast or digestive biscuit I feel ok for rest of the day. Just wondering how you manage work with the exhaustion? Last week I was so tired during the afternoon in meetings all day I was struggling worrying it gets even worse 🫣

TheFutureIs · 20/07/2025 07:55

From my experience last time @Hopeloveandkindnessfirst trimester is worst for tiredness, then second you pick up more energy. Third is tough again, but people are kind as it’s obvious why you’re tired

Bumblebee1984 · 20/07/2025 08:45

Yes first trimester is tough with the tiredness and nausea. Felt so much better in second trimester. Just need to try and rest when you can. Get some lie ins at the weekend and get to bed early. I find afternoons the worse then feel better after kids are in bed in the evening. Food can help my nausea but like with my daughter I feel hungover on and off all day. With my son it was more just of if I needed to eat then felt better.

@Nightshift110sorry for the confusing time. Lots of people don’t get many symptoms though and especially this early. I’ve always been 6 weeks before I get any nausea. Sorry epu aren’t helpful but good you do have a scan booked. Keeping everything crossed for you

Bumblebee1984 · 20/07/2025 08:47

@ThisZippyViewersorry you’re also having worries. As has been said some people do get bleeding and good you’ve not got any pain with it. Hopefully it eases off and definitely call if anything changes

Do you think it’s true that you have more morning sickness with girls?? It’s so strange my sister and law and best friend had really bad sickness and had girls but not sure if just an old wives tale 🤣

TheFutureIs · 20/07/2025 09:27

I had no sickness with my girl, but had bouts this time (different dad). My friend was fine her first 2 pregnancies (boy and girl) but her last 2 boys she’s been dreadful with

Just caught up on a couple of days of messages after stepping away for a couple of days.

I hope everyone is okay, especially those that have had a bit of bleeding. I did have spotting and all was okay at my viability scan. None since but we will be having a private scan this week to make sure everything is still progressing okay ❤️

Hello and welcome to all the new members 👋

Yes this is very true for me! I had minimal nausea in my first pregnancy, only certain smells etc set it off but I could work fine and go about my life - he was a boy! Second pregnancy I had severe hyperemesis - was bed bound 6 to 14 weeks and hospitalised it was awful and yes she was a girl!
Third pregnancy - no nausea whatsoever!! And yes a boy again!
Fourth pregnancy (unfortunately I lost this one at 19 weeks 😔) severe nausea and sickness and it was a little girl.
This time I'm only 6+4 today and I'm so sick it's horrendous already 😫 so of course my bets are definitely on a girl again! 🩷

Just to throw a needle in the haystack my symptoms for both previous pregnancies were similar for me. I had low level stomach upset, indigestion mainly and I have a daughter and the baby I lost was a boy. I had no sickness for either.
I swear I heard morning sickness is down the the sperm health. So you can blame your husband if sick 🤣🤣

HelloTTC2023 · 20/07/2025 11:22

Hello Everyone, I am joining the thread for a bit of company and distraction these next few weeks! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Found out on Tuesday at 11DPO I'm pregnant with my second baby after suffering a miscarriage in May. I am excited and anxious in equal measure. My daughter has just turned 1. Any 2 under 2 moms want to give me some survival tips, please go ahead! Im 16 DPO today and have all these flu like symptoms and such back ache. Anyone else experience this? I am currently treating CHAT GPT like my personal midwife!
