I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

Weird one.. do people sometimes get hives during pregnancy? I was in the middle of a meeting at work, and suddenly started feeling super itchy. I looked down and saw both my arms were starting to get covered in hives 😳

Haven’t eaten anything I don’t usually eat today. I brushed it off for a bit, but then it started spreading to one of my legs, and I started feeling anxious bit lightheaded, but that might have just been anxiety creeping in. I’m 6+5 today - decided to go to an NHS walk in centre for peace of mind so waiting to be seen. Wondered if hives had randomly happened to anyone else while pregnant?

Heyyy @Hopeloveandkindness nice to see you over here! Sorry to hear you’ve had some more bleeding. I’m sure it’s nothing just like last time, especially with it being brown and just discharge. Do you use the pessaries vaginally?

Pennyroses · 17/07/2025 16:04

Hi can I join please? I'm due in march, I'm 6 weeks 1 day today. I'm really anxious because I lost a baby at 19 weeks back in 2023 so I'm finding it hard to relax this time 😞 morning sickness is destroying me right now though so I'm hoping that's a good sign! 🤞🏼🤢

Hey 👋 ☺️Yeah I do I hope it’s not them irritating it just want my scan done so I know what’s going on 🙏🏻

mumtrovert · 17/07/2025 16:45

@Hopeloveandkindness could more than likely be! I had spotting with my DS because of the pessaries.

PickleThePenguin · 17/07/2025 17:58

@Everythingisokay @FiveXthechaos thanks for the reassurance! Hopefully it'll all be ok.

No more spotting today so hopefully it was just implantation bleeding

I know I’m only 4+2 but im just really hoping for some symptoms soon. Something in me feels like I’ve made this pregnancy up 🥹

I felt like this too from the time of testing at 17DPO until pretty much two days ago (5 weeks + 6 days). I asked the fertility clinic that I initially started the conception journey with and apparently it’s normal to have few/no symptoms until around 7 weeks. Although it does seem like most people here have had quite a few symptoms!

Ive been taking it quite easy exercise-wise and just doing brisk walks and the occasional yoga session since the positive test but I’d like to get back to doing something slightly more vigorous. It would be interesting to know what others are doing in this respect!?

Casper94 · 17/07/2025 20:56

Thanks all, nothing has happened since the fall this morning so think all is okay! Trying to stop myself testing again until the weekend but now my symptoms have disappeared I feel like a fake 🤣

mumtrovert · 17/07/2025 21:00

Not at all! @Casper94

I bought two more CB weeks indicators .. 🤣🙄🙄 I’m doing one tomorrow and Saturday (6+0) and if nothing then I put my foot down and refuse to buy anymore 👀😂

Mummysparrow · 17/07/2025 21:02

Is anyone considering a private NIPT? I had a TFMR in May 2024 due to T16 but as it is a chromosome abnormality that isn't picked up by NIPT I won't be offered one for this pregnancy. As I am at an increased risk of a chromosome abnormality and I am 36 I am considering getting it done privately at 10 weeks

Mushroo · 17/07/2025 21:19

@Mummysparrow Im planning to get it. I did last time despite no real reason to, but I liked finding out earlier that everything was ok! And finding the sex is a nice bonus

RiverThunder · 17/07/2025 21:34

Got my booking appointment set for 9 weeks on the dot and first scan for 12+3! 🙈

7 weeks now, sickness hit me like a ton of bricks at week 5. Managed for about a week and then went to the doctors, I’ve been put on Cyclizine which has worked wonders for the last few days, just very very tired now!

I have been really into my fitness since my MMC in March - been using it as a way to look after myself physically and mentally. I haven’t really slowed down since finding out I’m pregnant again (6+2 today and saw heartbeat on scan yesterday). I have noticed I fatigue a bit more easily at the moment but also don’t think the heat is helping. Myself and my husband are signed up for a hyrox style event (mixed doubles) in 3 weeks so hoping I’ll still be up for that! If you’re generally active anyway you should be fine, they just say not to suddenly take up exercise you haven’t before once pregnant. I think a lot of it is to do with your ligaments loosening and being at risk of injuring yourself moreso than harming the baby. If you’re not sure then speak to your midwife and see what they say. Keeping active during pregnancy can be so beneficial for you and baby

Orangelover · 18/07/2025 07:37

So after saying I wasn't going to buy one of these... I did. That's it though now Blush

Hello, I haven’t commented yet but been reading along. I am 5 weeks today, first ever pregnancy. Can someone tell me what happens at the first midwife appointment? Are any blood tests taken? I’ve always thought u have low progesterone (light periods, short luteal phase) so I really want to get me levels tested but doesn’t seem to be the norm unless you’ve had a loss?

I’ve started to slowly introduce some in this week, but very gentle 5 weeks 5 days today and been to the gym just to feel like a bit normality and it’s good for me mentally. Hoping to increase next week if all is ok at my scan and get back to my routine and running ☺️

mumtrovert · 18/07/2025 08:43

My saga continues. And I bet you’re all sick of me being so neurotic but I can’t help it 😫😫

I did another CB weeks indicator today. Still 2-3. This time I cracked it open and looked at the strips .. it’s A LOT fainter than control, I’m not getting a 3+ for a while it seems. So obviously I’ve spiralled. I’m supposed to be 6 weeks tomorrow.
I took a normal CB to work and used SMU to pee on that. Super dark and came up in 5 seconds. So that’s made me feel slightly better. But still, I’ve rang my IVF clinic, explained I’m sending myself crazy, and booked for another hCG beta tomorrow morning. I’m hoping that’ll make me feel better 🤞🏼😭 .. or at least give us clarity.

For a back story to my crazy… in May I had a chemical after our transfer. I had another transfer in June and tested really faintly again, I thought it was another chemical, but it has slowly progressed, although I’m still always just behind everyone else & that makes me nervous.

Totally agree with this, I have my scan Tuesday and I will be 6 weeks 2 days and hoping to pick my normal routine up if everything is ok following this 🤞🙏🏻 helps me so much too mentally!!

I think them digital tests make everyone so nervous hopefully HcG blood test will put you mind at ease!! I’ve got one to take tomorrow but I’m in two minds don’t want to cause myself the anxiety 😥

Hopeloveandkindness · 18/07/2025 09:29

How’s everyone’s sleeping?? I’m waking up like 3am/4am without fail getting back to sleep sometimes but it’s very broken. I’ve notice I wake up absolutely starving as well and it makes me feel sick 🤣😩 it’s not as though I’m not eating enough during the day too eating much more than I was before being pregnant
