I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

@ThisZippyViewer that can be normal! Try not to worry. It sounds like a tiny amount of old blood, possibly from
the implantation.

@Peanutbutterjelly123 yeyyy congrats! That’s great news.

@Casper94 aw that’s so exciting!! We’re going to find out again too. I don’t know how people wait until birth, I’m far too impatient and nosey 😂. I think another boy for me!

Wellllll my CB still says 2-3.. I’m not going to spiral. I pretty much expected it. It was a 3 hour hold. I’ll try tomorrow morning with FMU. This could be an expensive week 😅

Casper94 · 15/07/2025 20:21

@mumtrovert yeah it was hard waiting last time to be fair! I really felt boy last time and had a girl, this time as I've got a few different symptoms I'm thinking boy! Aw try not to stress my lovely it's probably right on the cusp of changing! I'm trying to hold out until 6 weeks on Saturday to do mine!

Evening all,

We had a positive viability scan today, measured 5 weeks and 6 days which is a couple of days behind what I thought but I know measurements can be inaccurate at this stage. Our little blind had a heartbeat so all looking good at this stage. No further scans offered, so may have a private one at the 9-10 week mark.

Been given progesterone to start, and start on my blood thinners imminently too. It’s all starting to feel a bit real now x

Fantastic news ❤️

Oh I’m sorry! What did the hospital say? I hope it’s just nothing, it can be totally normal. The other girl in our IVF group had the same remember and all was OK.

TheFutureIs · 15/07/2025 21:17

@worldwidetravel2017 hopefully it’s nothing to worry about, lots of ladies bleed during pregnancy but I get how terrifying it must be. Sending lots of hope your way

I had a lot of bleeding with my son. It's more than likely nothing @worldwidetravel2017 but I know the worry you are going through!

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 15/07/2025 21:31

@ThisZippyViewer @worldwidetravel2017 hope all is okay. I have had spotting three times which is why they gave me progesterone. Can be normal,
so try not to worry 🤞 xx

Casper94 · 15/07/2025 22:00

Everything crossed for you @worldwidetravel2017 xxx

Redsky01 · 15/07/2025 22:58

@Peanutbutterjelly123 hope to be following in your footsteps Thursday have scan will be 6weeks.

@worldwidetravel2017 hope all will be OK. I had bleeding on my little boy and he is perfect.

@Casper94 I don't want to find out as love the surprise hubby wants to find out but he is afraid he would tell me

Casper94 · 15/07/2025 23:03

@Redsky01 yeah the surprise was lovely to be fair and it was so nice to have hubby be able to tell me what we had 🥰 but second time around I think I'd rather know to plan better haha!

Redsky01 · 15/07/2025 23:08

@Casper94 after Thursday I might change my mind. Must go to the scan alone so anxious as I've no symptoms.

Everythingisokay · 16/07/2025 06:11

@worldwidetravel2017 sending you lots of positive thoughts. i know some people bleed and it ends well ❤️ everything crossed for you. What time are you going back to the hospital today? Are they planning on doing hCG bloods?

@mumtrovert I'm in the minority that doesn't like CB and never bought them (my wallet is thanking me). Seen so many people complain about them, including weeks. Saw people panicking weeks weren't going but scans were fine, hCG was doubling as it should... I think they aren't always accurate. Let us know how you get on.

Everythingisokay · 16/07/2025 06:14

@Redsky01 for what is worth, I never had any symptoms. Ever. Even with the successful pregnancy. Not a single symptom.

I know lots of people worry about it but it can be totally normal. I remember being on Mumsnet at the time and everyone was just speaking about, comparing symptoms and I stopped reading as it was giving me anxiety.
Remember speaking to a woman who had two adult sons and with one, she had all symptoms under the sun. With the other, not a single symptom throughout the pregnancy.

Redsky01 · 16/07/2025 06:59

@Everythingisokay thanks.

Orangelover · 16/07/2025 07:15

Horrible to see everyone worrying about different things but I completely get it, especially after I loss I can't imagine what that's like. Realistically when we're this early there's just no way if knowing how everything is going to turn out but I don't think a lack of symptoms or a clear blue not changing weeks can really tell you much yet. All the good vibes to everyone Flowers

After my cheapie test positive yesterday I didn't have time to hang around as I needed to get to work so I waited til this morning to do the frer I had in the box that's been sat there so long it's out of date Blush

Mild panic here!
EPU is scanning me at 6w2d. I know it's fine, I know there should be a visible HB but I'm someone who prefers to wait to 7 weeks at least 😬
Will need to do a private rescan between then and my 12 week scan for sure.

Mummysparrow · 16/07/2025 08:26

Anyone else having the joys of progesterone suppositories? I alternate between vaginally and rectally to avoid irritating my cervix too much but also means I dont have to stay lying down for 20 mins after insertion if I go rectally. However my gut has not got the memo that it can cause constipation. Within half an hour of inserting this morning I had had to run to the loo. I hope I have absorbed enough progesterone 😩

mumtrovert · 16/07/2025 09:49

@Mummysparrow yes unfortunately I have those joys too! I’m sure I read if you use the toilet within an hour you should use another.. may be worth checking online!

mumtrovert · 16/07/2025 09:51

@Everythingisokay ahh yeah I’m not putting too much weight on it to be honest, I know they’re quite inaccurate. Just gives me another milestone to hit, my wait for my scan feels lonnngggg! (2 weeks today)
Glad EPU is scanning you early, I’m sure you should see everything by 6+2 🙏🏼 when is it??

Oh, it's been moved!
By a few days only but I'm glad, will definitely be a bit more reassuring.
Last week of July, I'll come here to report afterwards 😀😜
Have you got any scans booked? 💕 Sorry I can't remember.

Casper94 · 16/07/2025 10:21

Woken up this morning and all my symptoms have disappeared...trying not to panic 😅

Mummysparrow · 16/07/2025 10:28

@Casper94mine come and go and tbh I am just for the relief from indigestion or nausea 🤣
It was the same with my other 2 pregnancies and I have a 4 year old. She kept me on my toes during pregnancy and still does now. ☺️

Casper94 · 16/07/2025 10:53

Ah thank you @Mummysparrow ! Trying to remind myself it's a normal thing, everything is just so anxious in the beginning isn't it! Worried I've been pushing myself too hard the past couple of days with lifting things etc!

Mummysparrow · 16/07/2025 10:56

@Casper94i am not sure if it gets better as we will always worry during the pregnancy and then worry when they are here 🤣
Just remember they are every well protected in there at the moment and lifting should be fine at this stage 🙂 I weight lift so I hope its fine 🤣
