I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

Oh so odd, I was told up to 3 weeks for a call back to book my booking appointment and got one the next week. But my booking appointment is by phone so I won't get a scan till 12ish weeks. Also the middle of the working day but only 45-60 mins so as I wfh I'm thankful I can hide it in a long lunch break.

I'd be making noise if they'd gone over their call back period, don't want to be forgotten about!

Redsky01 · 14/07/2025 19:14

@mumtrovert could you add me to Facebook too as I'm not able to join. Thanks

Baby26 · 14/07/2025 19:26

@mumtrovert and me too please? I'll send you a pm!

I think for mine it’s a super busy hospital, I looked online and other people have had the same but they do seem to get to you eventually

Casper94 · 14/07/2025 23:10

@FizzLemon ah I was about to recommend the M&S ones sorry! Since my first I haven't been able to tolerate going back to wired bras so I've found M&S do comfy ones and Asda's ones are similar too! But yeah not the most flattering unfortunately

Orangelover · 15/07/2025 09:04

Very tentatively waving hello after a BFP this morning that took me by surprise as I had been convinced I was out this month after a negative at 12dpo!

Been trying about a year for baby no 1 and tried preseed lube this month so maybe it was that Grin

As per LMP should be 4 weeks today so we'll see how it all goes!

Emilyj13 · 15/07/2025 11:02

I had a very positive line yesterday, due date 22nd March. Feeling very nervous due to a miscarriage, followed by a healthy pregnancy in 24/25. How do you get the negative thoughts out of your mind? I really want to be positive but so scared to go through a loss again.
Age gap will be 1 year 11 months which is really exciting but very aware will be crazy busy.

CL05071998 · 15/07/2025 11:05

Hi All, tentatively joining after getting a faint positive yesterday evening!
My dates put ne at 3w5days. Had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks back in April, and had an early miss in Jan 23 befor3 conceiving my son a few weeks later. Very anxious and not getting too excited yet, but will hope for the best.
Hope everyone is doing well, an exciting time x

MummyV2021 · 15/07/2025 11:47

Hello and welcome newbies! And congratulations! Lots of us in here in the same boat - feeling anxious after previous losses, so you’re in good company. Really hard to quiet down the negative thoughts and worry, it’s just about keeping yourself busy and finding ways to keep yourself as positive and relaxed as you can until you can get some reassurance. I know with my little boy, no amount of scans or tests reassured me much until I could feel him move - then I was constantly reassured! But it’s really about coping and keeping going and not being too hard on yourself for not being hopeful and enjoying it as much as everyone says you should!

Also, for anyone needing it. The previous link to the FB group has expired, here’s a new one…

i know people have been struggling to access but some have been managing ok. If it doesn’t work for you, feel free to send me a DM and we can sort adding each other as friends and doing it that way!

FiveXthechaos · 15/07/2025 14:51

@MummyV2021 I tried to click the link but its not working x

MummyV2021 · 15/07/2025 16:28

I’ve generated a new link for the FB group and have updated how people join to see if that fixes the issue. Not sure why it’s working for some and not others. I would encourage anyone who’s struggling to join to check if there’s anything in your settings that might stop you from entering.

Is anyone finding they're more emotional?

I'm an absolute wreck, was crying while driving home and don't know if it's pregnancy hormones or if it's just life? My reasons for crying seemed legitimate 😂

Everythingisokay · 15/07/2025 17:06

On a second thought, I definitely don't think it's hormones 🤔
DH still being really unsupportive, getting annoyed at me for the silliest things. It's as if he's the one who's expecting.

The anxiety is the biggest issue I'm having atm, after a MMC last year I woke up at 5am this morning in a panic and have been pretty much on edge since. I'm at work now though and finding it a good distraction.

100%. I bought my 2yo something today and he said ‘thank you mummy’ and I fully welled up 😂😂😂

Sorry to hear he’s still being a tw*t!! Hopefully it’s just his time of the month ..

I just want to say it's so natural to feel this way.
It's also not a premonition that something bad is going to happen this time, too, it's just a very normal human reaction after the experience you've had ❤️

I've found these affirmations useful.

ThisZippyViewer · 15/07/2025 19:01

looking for some (hopefully!) reassurance around CM - 4w3d today
Ive not really had any changes up until now but today ive had a dark cream/very pale brown discharge, only a very small amount

google tells me this is mostly normal and can be around time of period or just after (I was due on Saturday just gone) - but if anyone else has some words of reassurance I would appreciate it 🙏

littlefox90 · 15/07/2025 19:05

Thank you for both of those comments. We've been trying for the last year and now it feels like I'm 1) being robbed of the excitement and 2) being ungreatful when we were trying so long and some people still are. Like I'm not appreciating what others would.

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 15/07/2025 19:30

Evening all,

We had a positive viability scan today, measured 5 weeks and 6 days which is a couple of days behind what I thought but I know measurements can be inaccurate at this stage. Our little blind had a heartbeat so all looking good at this stage. No further scans offered, so may have a private one at the 9-10 week mark.

Been given progesterone to start, and start on my blood thinners imminently too. It’s all starting to feel a bit real now x

ThisZippyViewer · 15/07/2025 19:34

@Peanutbutterjelly123 great news 🥰

TheFutureIs · 15/07/2025 19:39

That’s lovely @Peanutbutterjelly123 isn’t incredible how early the heart develops!

@Peanutbutterjelly123 lovely news ❤️

Casper94 · 15/07/2025 20:03

Welcome @Orangelover and @Emilyj13 and @CL05071998 !

Such good news @Peanutbutterjelly123 so glad it was all positive for you 💓

Anyone got any "feelings" about what they're having yet? We didn't find out with our first which was my choice so I'm letting hubby choose this time and he wants to find out at the halfway mark which I'm actually quite excited about this time!
