I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

Had my booking appointment through - feels a bit more real! Eeek

Glad he’s apologised @Everythingisokay hopefully you can get a bit more empathy going forward. Yes, life is crap sometimes, but doesn’t mean we can’t vent about it or try and find solutions. If he’s intent on going for the full week, maybe try and ask him to speak up about the things that annoy you, try and nip it in the bud early on in the holiday.

Hi Ladies, just found out yesterday morning that I'm pregnant with baby number 5 😫 I already have two of each my boys are 9 and 8, and my girls are 6 and 2. I think I'm due around the 11th March based off my last period which is crazy because my last baby is born on the 6th.
I'm going through all of the emotions right now as I've always known that termination could never really be an option for me as I'm not strong enough to deal with that, but I'm think I'm just in my head a bit about opinions from others as I already have 4 and ill be 31 when this baby comes. I haven't told my partner yet as I'm still trying to process it myself and neither of us planned to have anymore. You guys are literally the first people I've spoken to about this as since yesterday morning I've just been stuck in my head, whilst trying to act as normal as possible 🙃
I should add that I'm about to go into my final year at Uni, and My Partner lives and Works in a completely different city to me so I'm pretty much living like a single parent.

Sorry for the long intro 😅 I literally have no one else to talk to this about

@Mushroomine came through too, its in a month..smack bang in the middle of a working day and the hosp takes 35mins to get to..wondering if work will question it usually we upload confirmaiton letters to the portal

I’ve ended up taking half a days holiday as she said it would take 1.5 hours and I really don’t want to tell work until I know all is ok. They were so funny with me about the 1st

Mine at least is a 5 min walk away so I could potentially just say it’s a doctors appointment and be vague…

How many weeks will people be at their booking appointment? I’m so impatient! Currently 5wks3days, and have a private scan booked for 8 weeks!

Im toying with booking a private 7 week scan

We get our ivf NHS scan at 7 weeks 5 days ish
But the waiting is frustrating

@TheFutureIsil be around 9.5-10 weeks i think, im under epu due to previous losses and will have a scan on the 24th think il be around 6.5 weeks then?

Will be 9wk1 at booking app. So hopefully weekend before at 8+ weeks we’ll have had a good scan and can start to feel more positive then 🤞🏼

Last time I had a private scan beforehand as u didn’t want to sit through the appointment without knowing there was definitely something in there!

I haven’t booked one this time, but I could well cave nearer the time.

I haven’t heard a peep about my booking in appointment. My trust say they’ll be back to you in 10 working days but that’s a total lie; been 3 weeks and nada

My booking appointment is next Tuesday and I should be around 8+5. I have a private scan booked for the Sunday after when I should hopefully be 9+3 🤞. Im so nervous for it though!

I feel like last time I didn’t refer myself until after our IVF clinic signed us off at 7 weeks.. but I might be wrong! I can’t remember now 🙈 they’ve not told me to do anything. I think I’ll wait till after my scan.

@Renee33 I had to tell my manager already due to working shifts as a nurse, completely up to you when you tell work I think legally you don't have to say anything for ages!

@Mushroo I'm really struggling already as well, 5+2 over here and definitely didn't feel this bad this early on last time! Very grumpy with my husband as well so he's really looking forward to the next 35 weeks 😬😅

@ThisZippyViewer congrats and welcome! We've told our parents and siblings but that's all so far, will wait until 12 weeks to tell anyone else.

@Everythingisokay sorry to hear you've had a rubbish time, pregnant or not he shouldn't be speaking to you like that! If I'm honest if it were me I'd tell him to go away with his parents and you and your child will join later when you feel able to, doesn't sound like it's going to be a very relaxing week for you otherwise :(

Just got back from a little weekend away, running around the beach in the heat was exhausting to say the least! Gonna ring the midwives tomorrow to sort booking in appointment etc.

I’m still friends with my original lot, we had our babies Sept 2016!

Currently 5w6d and mine is in exactly 1 weeks time! So I’ll be 6w6d. We were going to wait longer - 7-7.5w, but thought I’d take advantage of the fact that we moved have Monday 21st off as it’s my birthday weekend. And no we’re having it earlier we’re glad that we are! I currently have no obvious symptoms yet (apart from mildly sore nips and no period) so I sometimes even question if I’m actually pregnant at all! So will be good to have scan and hopefully confirm everything is all good which should make it feel more real!

Does anyone have recommendations for good pregnancy bras? Need something comfy and supportive, with some room to grow, as my boobs are suuuper sore and definitely a bit bigger right now. I ordered some from Seraphine a week and a half ago, then just discovered they went into administration last week, so definitely no bras in the post from them! Sad times.

Tried the M&S crop top bras one size up from usual and they were great, though not super flattering. Wondered if anyone had found a good alternative?
