I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

I ordered some newborn toys on Amazon this am :)

Already bought a baby change unit , baby bath , baby change mat , months ago - was manifesting / keeping the hope

Picked up 25gbp worth of baby clothes in asda sale last week

TheFutureIs · 10/07/2025 08:31

I’ve bought a whole load of reusable nappies, my excuse was they were 65% off during real nappy week! Forgot how cute they are! Holding off buying anything else until my 12 week scan. Still got cot from my other little one but will need nearly everything else, will definitely be scouring marketplace for bargains

@worldwidetravel2017wow that’s very organised.

@TheFutureIsi was like that last time. Had gotten rid of most stuff so had to buy all again. We got some great deals on marketplace such as a next to me cot that hadn’t really been used, a baby horn bouncer (amazing and my son loved it) and even our pram which because they had had it replaced under warranty it had been used for only a few months and bassinet part was still in the box. Vinted is also good. I buy loads of kids clothes on there. We have most stuff but will buy some new clothes especially if it’s a girl. And will need to get stuff for their room too

Tentatively stepping my foot in here.. already seen a couple of familiar faces from our IVF thread! 👋🏼

I’m 33, I have a DS who will be 3 in November who is also an IVF baby. I had an embryo transfer in May which sadly ended as a chemical. I decided to do another transfer in June as my HCG was only 10 at 13dpt and then went down to 2 at 15dpt. Thankfully I had another positive when I tested at 9dp5dt but again it was so faint I thought I was having another chemical… however it has progressed, now at 14dpt (19dpo) it is pretty much the same colour as control line with FRER and my HCG yesterday was 363. Google tells me that’s a very good number so I’m starting to let myself hope that all will be OK. Back tomorrow for another one where hopefully it’s doubled. It’s so hard to stay level headed when everyone else’s tests are darker than mine, but just hoping my emby implanted a bit later and has made up for it now.

Sorry, long winded, but I just can’t let myself get too excited yet 🥺 hoping I come on here with good news tomorrow. I have bloating, tiredness, mild cramps, sore boobs, some mild nausea and peeing more.

4+5 today and EDD 14th March 🤍

Does anyone have the facebook group link? The one I’ve seen here isn’t working! I’m 5 weeks pregnant age 41 and my daughter will be 9 when baby arrives!

Hello fellow nappy enthusiast 😁 are you starting from birth?

Stardust127 · 10/07/2025 10:29

I also have a scan booked for next friday when I’ll be 6 weeks 2 days and I’m so frightened. I just want everything to be okay.

my symptoms are awful right now since I turned exactly 5 weeks yesterday it is constant, nausea , some sickness, sore boobs, aching and I can’t sleep well because of all this it’s so intense. I’m sure I’m fighting an infection on top of this too. I’m wondering whether or not to contact the EPAU about it but not sure how much they’ll actually be able to do 😔

LevelOneAgain · 10/07/2025 10:32

Oh my goodness, some of you are prepared! I made a list of what I need to buy again. It was very short, but it turns out I've forgotten what newborns need beyond clothes and a next to me cot!!! Thank you @worldwidetravel2017for reminding me I need a unit, mat and bath and to @Bumblebee1984for the bouncer... I don't dare buy anything yet, but I love a good list.

Stardust127 · 10/07/2025 10:35

re reusable nappies not sure where you’re all based but there are quite a few reusable nappy schemes , real nappies for London I think it’s called is the best one you get vouchers and can use towards the cost. Bambino mio are the ones we use for our one year old they’re so good

Congratulations. I’m exactly the same. 5 weeks due around 10th March. Second pregnancy and my daughter will be 9 in August! Experienced some cramping this week and spotting. Attended emergency gyno and bloods showed hcg of 19,000. Have a scan booked in for next week at 6 weeks. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽

Same as me - always 5 weeks, due 10th March and have a scan booked for 6 weeks (though will be 6w6d so nearly 7w)! ☺️

This is my first pregnancy ( other than a miscarriage 2 years ago)
Due mid March

I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Hopefully this will pregnancy will work out beautifully and you’ll get your rainbow baby ✨🌈
This is my first pregnancy too, and I’m worried, so can only imagine how hard pregnancy after loss will feel x

@ZoeOutdoorsI didn’t last time as little one was a dink so didn’t fit the “from birth” ones until she was a few months. Think new one is likely to be even smaller so again will use disposable until they fit.
@Stardust127I do need to have a research if anything is available in Portsmouth, the nappy network wasn’t great last time. I did pick up lots of Facebook bargains last time.
So far I have 15 pop-ins planning on getting some Bambino Mio. Loved Bumgenius last time so will hunt down some of those too

I have just got a faint positive at 9dpo. So excited but nervous. I had a TFMR last May which has now tainted pregnancy a bit for me and it has taken a whole year to conceive again. I am so happy to see the line but scared and I really hope this pregnancy goes better.
Anyway I do not want to be the Debbie downer of the group 🤣🤣

Nope. I remember having this issue when a joined a pregnancy group from Mumsnet last year. I can only assume it is because it is a private group 🫠 I am assuming no one else has had issues. I may have to try on my laptop

MummyV2021 · 10/07/2025 12:38

@Mummysparrow@S21are use this link instead (I figured out that links expire after 20 uses and we currently have 20 people in the group)

Still not working. I will try on my laptop. I have a feeling I had to have an invite sent to me on FB last time. I need to look at my privacy setting perhaps 🤣
