Tentatively making this bus, as I don’t think there is one yet. Got the start of my BFP yesterday, and I can see the line developing today. Going to continue to test until AF is due. So far due 2nd Feb 😬 Anyone with me?

Hey everyone.. does anyone know any experiences of getting pregnant four months postpartum from a c section :( stressing help!

Isabella987 · 28/05/2025 09:36

Is anyone cramping? My period was due on 25th and im only four months postpartum from my first baby.. i don’t remember if cramping is normal in very early pregnancy.. still testing negative as I'm usually late ovulations .. my left knee is hurting aswell which i think happened first pregnancy also.. very mild nausea too been a while.. how long after everyones missed period did u get your first line?

Wednesdayonline · 28/05/2025 09:39

@Isabella987 cramping is definitely normal :) if it's really painful though worth reaching out to a doctor. I got my positive the day before my period, so 11dpo for me, on a clear blue early detect digital.

Butterflysunshine01 · 28/05/2025 11:55

@Isabella987 i am cramping big time!! To the point where I was wearing a pad thinking my period must be coming but then I was so late I’m like ok best take a test! But yes I’m quite uncomfortable with stomach stretching and cramping already when I wasn’t last time xx

I cramped non stop for like 4 days this time after implantation. Like almost sharp pulling and full sensation. Incredibly uncomfortable but very different to period pains so I know it’s just uterus stretching. It’s gone now so maybe wait a couple of days and see. Normally it’s only a concern if it’s very sharp and on one side or you have bleeding with it (beyond implantation/brown spotting)

Just got my BFP baby number two ! Welcome to the group everyone ! Anyone know EDD ??

Workinprogress90 · 28/05/2025 19:31

Hi all, marking my place but a bit hesitant at the moment as very early and I’m very shocked that I’m here tbh! Conceived first DC after 1.5 years and had to have fertility treatment. We had talked about having another baby but had expected to need to go through fertility treatment again so said well we will try for a few months so that when we go back to the clinic we can say it’s been a few months again need to start the treatment up. Lo and behold first month where we DTD in fertile window (accidentally) I have had BFP. All a bit surreal and trying to process it! Congrats to all on the group!

@Workinprogress90 congratulations!

Bas27 · 28/05/2025 19:49

@BGxxxglad you got sorted! 😂
@Isabella987hi and welcome! I have no advice re c section except speak to gp/self refer to mw asap? Then if there are any concerns they can see you. I
am cramping daily - bad af cramps - mostly in the evening. I had such bad cramps with DS in 2018 I went to the epu because I was worried about ectopic but he was fine. I’ve remembered for this time at least that cramping is normal.
@Butterflysunshine01- are any of us ready lol. I’m very close with my group from DS and me of them said to me, what parent at some stage doesn’t think “oh god what have we done” lol
@Workinprogress90welcome! I love the multiple brands just to be sure 😂 glad you don’t have such a prolonged journey this time!

Nausea is ramping up for me today. It’s not too bad - just feels like I’ve eaten too much sugar and I feel queasy and off my food. Still bracing for the HG. 😬 spent time doing calculations and I would guess I’ve got a few days to maybe 1.5 weeks before it comes in full force this time. That being said - the medication I’m on may have an impact on it and keep it in check. Don’t want to pull myself into a false sense of security with that though.

Hey everyone! Hope you don’t mind me joining but I’ve just had my positive test for baby number 2! Due February 5th 2026!!! Feeling all the emotions at the minute! Nice to be able to share the experience with some ladies as we’re going to try and keep it shhhh for a few more weeks xx

LavenderHaze04 · 28/05/2025 21:42

Congratulations @rainNshine!! And welcome 🤗

JJane1 · 28/05/2025 21:50

Hi all, I’m currently 5 days late, usually quite regular. I took a test on Sunday and it was negative (what I thought anyway). I was sat in the bath tonight and realised maybe I didn’t leave it long enough? I remembered it was still in the bin so rushed out the bath to check . Are people seeing two lines?

Due February 2026 ✨
BGxxx · 28/05/2025 22:01

@JJane1 id take another test. Those clearblue ones are apparently really common for false lines if you look at them out of the time window xx

JJane1 · 28/05/2025 22:16

Thanks guys. I’m planning to take another tomorrow. I have the same clear blue one and then a digital clear blue one too- so I’ll keep you posted! ❤️

Digitals are a bit pricier so why dont you take some cheapies and then save the digital one for another two days ( Hcg doubles every 48 hours) ! Good luck x

EmPeEf · 29/05/2025 03:07

Congratulations everybody here 🥰

I’m coming over from May ttc. I’m still shaking 3 hours after getting a bfp on a digi weeks. This cycle has been unpredictable with no positive OV, suspected faint lines 21dpo, BBT up and down like crazy, and not knowing whether it would be 28 days like the previous month or 35+ like it can be.

We only BD three times CD13, 15 and 21. Had two weeks of stark whites since faint lines around CD21 (which must have been evaps or something), and I OV CD 22 a day after I had a temp spike and we had sex. So I’m 12dpo and due 8th Feb, a day before my partner’s birthday! I went and woke him up at midnight when I took the test, and he was too tired to freak out this happened so quick 😅

Is anyone an older mum? I’m 40 so feeling incredibly grateful this has happened, but I’m also much more physically disabled than I was last pregnancy. I’m not sure I’ll be able to labour and deliver naturally and I’m really anxious and scared about it ☹️

ally62442 · 29/05/2025 06:40

Hi everyone congratulations on all your bfp’s! I got my first positive test on a boots early detection test on 8DPO very very faint positive. The following day slightly darker. I have none of those left now however so I’m now just using my Wondfo test strips to track my line progression. I’ve got 3 little boys already and started trying for baby number 4 in August 2024. I’ve had two chemical pregnancies in between then and now. So I’m anxious about my line progression this time. Although it is looking better it’s still not super bright. Premom says I’m due the 2nd of feb. 4 weeks 2 days today. Hoping for a sticky bean this time. I’ll attach a pic of my line progression so far.

HellsBellsTrudy · 29/05/2025 06:47

Morning all, I’m so rubbish at keeping up with these threads!

@JJane1 I agree with @BGxxx defo try another test!

Congratulations @EmPeEf ! ❤️ I’ll be 37 when baby is born, I’m sure it’ll get mentioned as they seem to think were ancient 😂

I think those lines look great @ally62442 It’s so hard when you’ve had a chemical, I know how you feel!

I’m apparently 5 weeks today and got a dye stealer on a Boots test 🤞Then wasted a digital even when I knew it wouldn’t show 3+ yet 😂

Have anyone got their booking in appointment yet?

Due February 2026 ✨
EmPeEf · 29/05/2025 06:55

@ally62442 great progression!

@HellsBellsTrudy can’t wait to be called a geriatric mum 😂
I think I’ll contact my midwife team tomorrow, as it will be the day before AF is due and I have hypothyroidism. Apparently I need to make sure it’s being properly treated to prevent miscarriage, so may need a blood test sooner rather than later.

EmPeEf · 29/05/2025 06:57

Is anybody telling anyone yet? I have a couple of online friends I’m telling and my kids know we were trying, but I will wait until we’re past 8 weeks before telling them I think. And other people. I’d like to try and get an early scan.
