Tentatively making this bus, as I don’t think there is one yet. Got the start of my BFP yesterday, and I can see the line developing today. Going to continue to test until AF is due. So far due 2nd Feb 😬 Anyone with me?

Are there any hayfever sufferers? I’m only 5-6 weeks so yet to have my midwife app and self scan is in 2 weeks. I’m reading mixed things online - are there any safe antihistamines that you can take? I have been avoiding all since I found out I was pregnant. X

This meant to say early scan (not self scan) 🤣

Yes I have very bad hayfever! I’m taking cetirazine because the evidence stuggests that it’s safe. But I’m only taking about 1/4 of the full dose daily that I used to take, and only on days I’m really struggling.

Hi! Hope you’re well. These are such good tests too! I know the anxiety around symptoms, mine have been fluctuating loads. My main ones are tiredness and sore breasts but some days I feel completely fine! I’m 7w4d today I think. I’ve had 1 previous mmc and then a full term pregnancy in June 2024

BGxxx · 21/06/2025 14:38

I shared on the WhatsApp group but for anyone not joined yet, I had a scan this morning. Still measuring 3 days ahead so 8 weeks 5 days today. I’m so relieved, I find the first trimester so difficult 🤣

BeNavyLion · 21/06/2025 18:00

Hi all!

Thought I'd join this thread as expecting and due end of Feb.

21DPO today, tested positive on 9DPO. Not fully sure of what that is in weeks as my cycle is very short, but if medically they base it on someone with a 28 day cycle and ovulating CD14, I'm adding 2 weeks onto my ovulation date, so guesstimating 5 weeks.

Haven't really had any symptoms yet other than cramping, and the odd feeling of a pulled muscle. How is everyone doing?

That’s great news!! Did the bean resembled a baby at this point? I’ll have my dating scan when I’m 8w3d next week 🤞🤞🤞

Yeah you could see a head and body, and then the little arm and leg stub things were moving around too! It was lovely

Hi all,

I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby around 6/7 weeks based on period dates.

I'm hoping someone has some experience of something similar. My first daughter was unfortunately born sleeping so without question when I fell with my second I was referred to the EPU and monitored closely. Now I don't want all the blood tests to track hcg last time nor do I want to get a scan too early as I found them all so stressful but I would like one around 8 weeks.

Since having my 2nd, I have moved into London and it's much different here. They don't refer and it's just a walk in. Does anyone know if I have grounds for walking in and requesting one based on my history? The hospitals list of reasonings to go there doesn't have my circumstance listed so I'm a bit conflicted on what to do as I can't wait in the hospital all day and I don't have any major concerns right now, I just need the reassurance that all is well.

Thankyou for any advice in advance ❤️❤️

I am so sorry for you loss.
I am in London and I can highly recommend St George's if you are near south London. They do a walk-in at their EPU from 8.30-11 mon-fri. On the website the explicitly say that women who have experienced miscarriage are welcome to come in for reassurance and dating scans. Obviously that is not the same as what you have experienced, but I would imagine that they would absolute welcome you - I have been several times in different pregnancies and went last week and they are lovely. The good thing is the wait time is limited to the walk in period, so it's not all day. You can also call them ahead of time to check? X

@BeNavyLion Hi!!! Welcome - lovely to see you here ✨✨

Thank you!!! I'm honestly so happy ❤️

Have you had your scan yet?

Parttimepaula · 21/06/2025 20:04

@Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate my pics are finally through approval on the previous page so you can see the difference between 8 and 10 week scans (in my case anyway)

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 21/06/2025 20:13

Thanks @Parttimepaula there is quite the difference isn't there! Makes me want one at 10 weeks, definitely!

curliegirlie · 21/06/2025 22:05

@Parttimepaulado you remember exactly when in your 8th week your scan was? I’ll be 8+5 when I have one next Thursday and intrigued as to what it will look like…I’m bricking it as my last 2 scans as the EPU were PULs after what turned out to be miscarriages, so it seems very bizarre the idea of going in there with the hope/expectation of seeing something positive!!

Parttimepaula · 21/06/2025 22:07

@curliegirlie that was 8 weeks exactly

Hi congratulations! I am 18dpo and literally having no symptoms. Not even a sore boob or bloating from my progesterone. 😭😭 I just want to feel a little bit preggers. X

I had an 8 week 5 day scan today, I’ll include a pic xx

BGxxx · 21/06/2025 22:49

It won’t let me share the video of it moving so I’ve screenshot from the video🤣 this is the baby face on (I think)

Due February 2026 ✨

Aww, amazing! Starting to look less blobby 💕 I really hope I see something similar on Thursday….

BGxxx · 21/06/2025 23:15

@curliegirlie I’ll be thinking of you! My anxiety before was awful, I just know the reassurance doesn’t last long either 🤣

Same - I just want the symptoms to come (sure I'll regret saying that in about 2 weeks 🤣)

This is incredibly helpful thankyou! I've just checked and unfortunately it's an hour from me but if I have no luck with my own local one then I'll definitely give this one a go! I feel like everything is so much different in London. I come from Kent and everything is handled by doctors so I was a bit shocked as everything else in London seems so much more efficient but I'll figure it out. Thankyou again ❤️

Once that one’s done, and if all ok, I can go about amending my dating scan, which is currently scheduled for 22nd July and clashes with DD’s end of year show. I’ve not wanted to change it before in case it turns out it isn’t needed. But, I’m hopeful it would be moved forward rather than back, as we’re off on holiday for 10 days from the 24th.

We go on holiday when I’m 12 weeks too so suspecting mine will end up being more 14 weeks! I’ll definitely have another scan before then🤣
