Tentatively making this bus, as I don’t think there is one yet. Got the start of my BFP yesterday, and I can see the line developing today. Going to continue to test until AF is due. So far due 2nd Feb 😬 Anyone with me?

I had a huge bleed 8 weeks with clots the lot. He is now 14. Definitely get checked though for your own piece of mind x

Joeylove88 · 22/06/2025 19:21

How is everyone coping with fluctuations in energy levels? I can feel fine one moment then if I do anything more than just walking around I feel absolutely shattered and get sidden urges to eat and a little bit of nausea mixed in! I'm glad I am feeling this pregnancy but now I have a little girl to look after aswell this time I'm wondering if there are supplements that help or tips for getting through first trimester while looking after a little one, running a house and holding down a job!

Joleyjojo · 22/06/2025 19:33

Is anyone not really having any symptoms. I’m 4+5 today and feeling pretty normal. Not even getting bloated or sore boobs from my progesterone suppositories. Worried x

I had spotting at 5/6 weeks, so I booked a private scan at 6 weeks. Saw a little blob with a heartbeat and they told me I was 6+3! I had no pain or cramps, just brown with cm for a couple of days. If you're worried maybe book an early scan just to see what's going on, or talk to your GP/midwife if you have one. Not sure there is much they can do at 8 weeks though.

Me too - I think I’m 5 weeks and 5 days. I’ve felt slightly hungrier but that’s all really! My boobs feel a little “softer” but they havent been hurting. It’s a really weird feeling isn’t it but I keep telling myself that it’s still very early and often symptoms don’t kick in until week 6/7/8 for some people (or some seem to be lucky and have hardly any the whole time). Try and be positive I’m sure all is ok - and enjoy having non of the not so nice symptoms while we can :) have you booked an early scan? X

It is so weird . I have been testing like a lunatic . I am under the recurrent miscarriage team and have a scan booked for 7 weeks. I won’t go private as I had a horrendous experience whereby they told me the baby had no heartbeat but it did. I sadly went on to loose the baby but I have lost all faith in private scans. Have you got one? I am on progesterone too and petrified that is hiding anything wrong x

Hbw18 · 22/06/2025 21:05

@Joeylove88 I was going to post exactly the same thing! I am 7 weeks and completely exhausted at times, like can’t keep my eyes open except I have to as I have 2 children to run around after 😅. I guess it is giving me an insight into the newborn days with v little sleep 🫣
Any tips for how to boost energy without overdoing caffeine very welcome! Or perhaps it’s just a case of getting early nights and riding it out until it eases up a bit (maybe in the second trimester?!)
my top tip for avoiding nausea is to not let yourself get too hungry, seems to be working so far…

Oh I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️ and bad experience with the private scans. Yes it’s my first pregnancy and have booked one for the 30th when I’m hoping that I’ll be around 6 weeks and 5 days then. The wait is going so slowly! I do feel very nervous and just want to know that everything is ok too, but I’m trying to think positively and keep myself busy.

Honestly from what I’ve read online it’s so normal to not have any symptoms just yet, there’s no reason for this to mean that anything is wrong 🫶🏼 I know it’s easier said than done, especially with what you’ve been through but try and keep yourself as relaxed as possible. Maybe speak to your GP and see whether the progesterone could be related to hiding symptoms at all? I’m sure it isn’t, but it may help put your mind at ease to hear it from them xx

Oh I am with you there! By about 2/3 I'm majorly flagging and really having to work not to close my eyes to sleep! I do think earlier nights will help so I should really make more effort but evenings are so nice and chilled I like to make the most of them. And for the nausea I have definitely been keeping up with eating but maybe a bit too much 😆🤦‍♀️ although ginger ale helped me with the nausea last time so that's also worth a try! Hopefully someone will be able to give advice on some energy boosting techniques before the second trimester!

Morning ladies, hope everyone had a nice weekend.

As I mentioned below, I’ve not had many symptoms of pregnancy at all so far. I’m 5 weeks and 5 days according to my app.

the last couple of days I have had a dull aching type feeling in my stomach and “up there” - almost like period pains but continuous as opposed to cramps. It’s not terrible but I’m conscious that it’s there. Has anyone else experienced this? I had slight brown discharge this morning for the first time and have read that this is normal and nothing to worry about, I can’t help but feel like my anxiety has ramped up x10 😣

I have an early private scan in one week from today - we booked it a week ago when we found out and I’ve never had time go so slowly in my entire life! Desperate to know that everything is where it should be and all is ok.

This is my first pregnancy and wow was I not prepared for the rollercoaster of emotions and constant worrying 😅 x

Natalie004 · 23/06/2025 08:52

Hi congratulations!

I'm due February 01st 26
Currently feeling back neck and sholder pain that is traveling to my head went to out of hours and they said it can be related to hormones changing snd sleeping position. I'm in agony. How are you getting on?

Hi lovely. I am around 5 weeks give and take a day and had 0 symptoms to a point it’s worrying me a lot.
my tests are still super dark but if I didn’t have those I just wouldn’t be able to tell.
I haven’t had spotting but have had on and off cramps, which I have read is all normal. I have a scan in 2 weeks but worried sick. I have asked the miscarriage clinic if they will do bloods, waiting for a response xxx

ALM2207 · 23/06/2025 10:54

Hi all please could I join? Due late Feb :-)

Mrs777 · 23/06/2025 12:11

Has anyone had fading tests? Super nervous as I had a loss last month, I’m meant to be 7 weeks this Thursday

Mrs777 · 23/06/2025 12:12

Due February 2026 ✨
Miepp · 23/06/2025 12:59

Hi, can I join please ? I’m around 6 weeks and feel so nauseous with a feeling of fullness. When it goes off I suddenly feel ravenous and then when I eat the sickness starts again. Trying to eat normally. If I lay down it generally goes off but I have a toddler and a hectic job so really starting to struggle :( anyone in a similar boat?

curliegirlie · 23/06/2025 13:19

@Mrs777I’d take those tests with a bit of a pinch of salt. I took one at 5+2 which looked similar - and similarly had a shadow on T4, when I don’t think I would’ve quite reached 1000miu at that point, but it was reassuring to have T3 with a clear line. Then 3 days later I got a 3+ on CB. Were both those tests taken on the same day? How are things otherwise?

Beansontoast976 · 23/06/2025 13:35

Is anyone else feeling really irritable ? Woke up this morning with that feeling can't seem to shift it

Mrs777 · 23/06/2025 13:43

They were a day apart, I got my clear blue 3+ last Tuesday, I feel ok, tired and less nauseous than last week but I’ve read that can come and go at the start.

curliegirlie · 23/06/2025 14:00

They look pretty similar to each other, so I’d try not to be too concerned. I took mine before the CB, so not sure what it would have looked like afterwards, but if you’ve had no spotting or bleeding then that’s a positive sign too. But I do get the frustration of this bit of the first trimester, when you’ve taken all the tests you can realistically see progression on, but it’s still a while before the scan. It feels like an age, especially following a loss, and it can be difficult to get away from the mindset of expecting the worst…

TiredMum97 · 23/06/2025 15:43

Tentatively joining this thread! I’m not actually sure if I’m going to be due February or march, unexpectedly expecting baby #3! 🙈

HannahTheBanana · 23/06/2025 16:22

Had my midwife appointment today and it just made me a little more anxious, I was expecting a lot questions but the risks are now higher since my second pregnancy was a c-section… I don’t think I realised… Anyone else in a similar boat?

Hi, risks in terms of having a c section for the third time? I know the risk increases with each one but maybe I’m also not realising by how much. I will also be having my 3rd section 😬

HannahTheBanana · 23/06/2025 18:42

@MummaBear18291I actually had 1 csection, 5 years ago.. i think it’s got to do with me losing a lot of blood (although not needing blood transfusion). It seems like the csection just came up as one of the factors putting me at higher risk this pregnancy… i guess, it’s better to know now!
