@OnNaturesCourse where about is your back pain?

I have major back pain, a bit like what @Lunamoon23 said, mine was triggered by a car accident years ago and never got better - full of knots at the top, my mid-spine feels stiff and lower back pain was bad the first few weeks of postpartum. Now it’s mostly upper back.

last pregnancy I had a bad labour and my hips became out of sync with each other - affecting my back massively. Saw an osteopath and he fixed me in 2 sessions.
Will be going to see him again very soon!
This pregnancy I had a slipped disc mid - back. Horrendous!!

@Lunamoon23 can you share the Facebook link please for the group?

It's mainly my mid back but lower back feels a bit period like at the end of the day. Mid back is like crunching ache, likely a posture or lack of muscle support. Stomach muscles are still squishy so imagine that effects my back as its compensating (been out and about on school runs etc with pram on snow and ice plus doing kids clubs with baby boy in sling most nights)

Just a little update on my BFing journey, we introduced our first bottle of formula today after 4 weeks on EBF. Baby boy latched instantly and was SO content after his feed, he slept for almost 3 hours which he hasn’t done since he was a week old. He was back BF tonight and wanted to feed every hour/not wanting to sleep. The plan was always to BF with one bottle of formula so I could have small break but am now thinking whether he’d be better with formula full stop!

Have you been to any bf groups? They tend to have them at libraries and there's usually at least a peer supporter there, they might be able to help tweak the latch. Is the baby cluster feeding? Are they fussing/shaking their head/hitting the boob etc? Are they actually feeding every hour or are they attached for comfort? If the latter have you tried co sleeping maybe being close will help settle him.

I lay down cuddling my DD and slowly put down her legs then her head and do the c curl. It's the only way I can put her down at night.

@CatCaretaker hopefully it works - I've attached it below. It wasn't me that set it up so I've had to copy it from the Facebook page.

And I'm a month in 😂 xxx

I have just requested to join!
I'm not on the Facebook group.

Baby girl arrived on 30th December. It has been a tricky first two weeks - lots of feeding issues and next to no sleep!

@Lucylaughing ours have the same birthday ❤️.

She's our first and it's an adjustment for sure! Are you bottle feeding pr bf?

Would I be ok to join this group please? My baby was born on 3rd January, but I've been following this thread through pregnancy and I have found the discussions more interesting (and more relevant) to my circumstances
