Hi all! Didn’t see an August thread yet so here we go.

I got my BFP today and my EDD is 2nd of August next year.

I’m 37 and this is my second baby, I have a son who’ll be 2 next month.

I think a few of use are booked in for early reassurance scans tomorrow if I remember correctly - sending everyone lots of luck, can’t wait to hear how everyone gets on 😌

I can’t wait to get in for a scan when I’m 6 weeks which I will be on Friday. EPU called earlier I think it was a mistake because they offered to book me in tomorrow but I told her I wasn’t 6 weeks and she said it would probably be a week Monday instead. I was spotting around 4 weeks and it stopped after a few days and then today more pink spotting. I know it can be normal but it’s just so hard not to worry when it happens, especially after loss.
My lines are getting darker, had my first dye stealer today but still can’t quiet the voice in my head that something is wrong again..

Also due August! Not having my first scan until January 4th (private scan) and can’t decide whether to tell my parents / in laws over Christmas before we have the scan! So nervous to tell them! It’s my first

I just told my parents! I was so nervous but they were absolutely delighted, mum said she can’t wait to start knitting! I only found out a couple of days ago and don’t have a scan booked yet so feels risky but couldn’t spend a week with them over Christmas and not say anything. I’ve filled in a referral form to book in with a midwife for in a couple of weeks. But now wondering if I should get a private scan?!

Congratulations that’s so sweet! I booked in a ‘reassurance scan’ with window to the womb they have lots of clinics all over for an early scan - just so I can relax a bit! Have a lovely Christmas x

I got my first ever BFP yesterday, after TTC since August 2022! Due 30 August so only 4 weeks but this is the furthest we’ve ever got. We have been diagnosed with primary infertility and have already had egg retrieval so were sure we’d need IVF. I actually have a scan today as part of the infertility investigations which I haven’t cancelled.

I know it’s early days but I have my fingers crossed for us all!

Congratulations that's amazing news, sending positive vibes that it sticks for you 💕 my symptoms seem to of all gone 🙈 think I'm about 6 weeks, got my early scan booked with window to the womb on the 11th Jan so still quite a wait yet

I hadn't thought about having an early scan. I've only had faint lines on two first response tests so far... But think I'm around 4+3 ... Think I might do a clear blue digital as part of me doesn't believe it yet!!

Anyone else getting really bad cramps? 5+2. Not bend over painful ones, but constant period like cramps. No bleeding.

I just did a CB digital and it said not pregnant. I'm very confused as AF is 4 days late and had two positive first response tests :( has this happened to anyone else?

Hi all, I've been missing from the thread for a while, trying to put everything to the back of my mind (which has been hard as I've been so nauseous!) until my early scan which I had today.

All went really well, I was so nervous and worried. I was 7+5 today going by lmp and they have estimated 7+1 so only a wee bit out!
We saw the heartbeat and got a clear image of the little bean. If anyone else is considering it is really recommend as it has just put my mind at ease.

I'd give it a few more days as the digital ones need alot more HCG to register on them

Hello, mine are not really bad, but I've had like 3 times period like cramps that made me worry, cause I thought the period was coming (I am today 6+0). But until now everything has been fine :)

Oh ok! It's hard though as I don't want to get my hopes up ... I thought it would be accurate as I'm already late for my period?! The box says 99% on the day you are due on!

@pcbrb I've been having cramps pretty much every day, on and off. Ranging from mild, to period cramps. Been about a week now, and genuinely feels like I am on my period but no bleeding

Yes, it has been like that for me but only like 3-4 days within two weeks.. but until now everything seems to seem fine, so I try to relax and you can try to relax ♥️♥️ I bet everything will be fine

I was having the mild twinging like cramps but I’m worried now they have stopped, I’m only 4+2

Over 7 weeks and EXHAUSTED

Had an early scan last week which was wonderful.

Also had a gender blood test last week........ Hope it is accurate!

Struggling to do anything being so tired constantly

I’m six weeks and feeling nothing… no sickness, no cramps… I hope it’s not a bad sign! Got my apt with a community midwife now on 8th Jan, feels so far away. I have felt so, so very tired the last couple of days, and just really lethargic. Not sure if it’s just general wind down for Christmas (I’m a primary school teacher!) exhaustion or if it’s baby telling me to relax a bit!

It's just what I've read, everyone's HCG gets higher at different speeds so it's hard to say. I had a very faint line but a negative digital, I did another one 4 days later and got a 1-2 weeks. I didn't want to get my hopes up either till then

It's hard waiting! Hopefully Christmas will be a distraction...

Had my early reassurance scan today, 7w3days. Could see the blob and yolk sac and a little flickering heartbeat. Have been a bit of a nervous wreck and feel the early scan has really helped me to relax now (hopefully this will last a while!). Would recommend to anyone who feels the same. Hope you all enjoy Christmas x

Just found out I am pregnant with my 3rd due date worked out at 30th August. Planning on surprising my husband on Christmas Day. Already have 2 baby boys. One is 2 and then my youngest will be 1 on New Year’s Day. Going to have our hands full but hearts will be fuller ❤️

me and my husband have been together for 12 years no kids, and now 3 it’s getting busy in our home 🤣
