Hi guys, I am still here!! I had an early scan recently which put me a week behind what we thought but due to have PCOS we're not too worried at this stage. I have another scan on the 24th December! I've not been very active because I've been struggling immensely with extreme persistent nausea and I've basically been sleeping all day and all night 😮‍💨 Luckily I have medication now which seems to be helping me so I'm grateful for that 🙏🏻 Hope everyone is doing okay 💕💕

Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately I had a miscariage last night (during the office Christmas party) after 3 days of brown spotting. I managed to hold it together until the party ended...
Went to the hospital today for the confirmation. I knew it was happening as I had to use many pads within a few hours, and I was bleeding so much, terrible cramps and backache.
It's a hard time for both of us so I'll leave this lovely group and wish you all healthy pregnancies 👶

OneGladTiger · 14/12/2024 16:04

@Tara033 so sorry to hear this, that’s just awful news ☹️ Take care of yourself xx

V nervous posting here in case I jinx things as it's very early days, but I've had a positive result after IVF which should put me around 25th August if things continue to progress well. First ever pregnancy. Hello to all!

How is everyone feeling about morning sickness at the moment? I’m 7 + 2 and have to say I’m struggling a bit! I’ve not actually been sick but I feel so nauseous all of the time. It’s there constantly and it’s so hard to find the energy to shower and get dressed when you feel like you’re going to puke all the time, let alone do anything else! I’ve cancelled 2 things already this weekend. Eating helps a bit but I don’t want to eat anything so just forcing bland foods like toast and cereal - not the healthy pregnant version I hoped to be!!

i’m 6+3 and have only had the odd day feeling sick… it tends to be when i’m hungry its really bad but dry crackers help! Xx

My sickness seems to come and go I'm only around 4 or 5 weeks though so don't think I've hit the worst part yet, ginger biscuits were good for me in my other pregnancies. I've become a serial tester 🙈 I'm testing every other day to make sure the line is as strong I'm so scared of having a miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy. I feel like I will only calm down once I've had the 12 week scan and that's ages away yet 😅 had to make excuses last night as to why I wasn't drinking at my friends 40th birthday 🙈

Same! I’m about 5 weeks now and this past week I’ve had very very mild nausea that comes and goes. I had a day with nothing and then the next day had a few hours of feeling a bit horrid.
I remember with my first pregnancy as soon as I hit 6 weeks the nausea just hit properly, so I’m surprised that I feel anything just now.
I’m hoping this doesn’t mean it’ll be worse than last time when it does kick in properly!
I’m also testing every other day

JW24M · 15/12/2024 15:55

question - are we able to drink nozeco or not? I’m reading up on it, my lovely MIL has bought some bottles for over xmas but I’m a bit worried now I can’t have a glass or two as it appears it has a v low alcohol content… anyone rec any fizz alternatives? Just so other family members don’t catch on! Xx

TTCBabyHoward · 15/12/2024 16:12

@DragonflyRuby - I started to severely struggle with nausea - it got so bad that I've not been able to eat etc but I wasn't being sick - I have horrible food aversions but I've since gone onto anti sickness medicine and I'm slowly beginning to feel alright again 😂 xx

I'm not even 4 weeks yet where I've found out so early so nothing here yet! But with my daughter sickness hit me like a bus at 5 weeks and lasted until 22 weeks so I'm hoping this time round isn't as bad 😂

DragonflyRuby · 15/12/2024 16:25

@TTCBabyHoward I think I’m going to have to speak to the GP about medication as I literally can’t function now! What are you taking? Did it kick in quickly?

LogoOnTheFoam · 15/12/2024 17:19

Hello everyone :) I have just (across the weekend) found out I am pregnant with baby number 2! Got a 2.5yo little girl and due around 21st Aug I think as my cycles vary between 27-30 days. Hope everyone is doing okay! I've been having cramping and feeling very tired which is hard with a toddler 🙈 x

I think this would be absolutely fine. I've been on the alcohol free beer recently as a replacement! The levels are negligible and even ripe fruit has a v low alcohol content. So I wouldn't worry

I am 7+4 and feeling exactly the same

I went to the shops earlier and had to leave because I was so scared of being sick, I haven't been sick yet, touch wood, but the constant feeling is dreadful.

Im finding it difficult to try to live life as normal and not see each and everyday as a just surviving day! I WFH and am also struggling with basic things like getting dressed and going about my day.

Hoping it eases off soon. Only just got around to putting our Christmas tree up because every day has just been a write off

Congratulations to those just joining!

@Parks17 I’m sorry you’re feeling like this too but I’m glad it’s not just me. I’ve got a scan on Wednesday and really hoping that it helps me feel better about feeling so ill! It feels weird feeling this bad with no idea if everything is OK, if that makes sense? I’m living on weetabix and toast!

@rebecca199 Oh god 22 weeks, I hope not! 😂😩

Yeah I know how you feel but at least we're in this together!

My scan is on the 23rd so let me know how yours goes on Wednesday ❤️

We got this!!!
