4 weeks 6 days, due 9 July 2024.. anyone wanna join?

Hey!

I am 4 weeks 6 days today and wondering if anyone out there is of similar gestation or has similar due date to me! Feeling quite lonely in this pregnancy (last pregnancy my best friend was pregnant at the same time so we always had each other!) and just wondered if there was anyone else feeling the same and wanted to share experiences 😊

I’ve had mild symptoms come and go and got my dye stealer on cheapie yesterday at 21dpo 💖

Been panicking about miscarriage as I’m sure lots of people do, but feeling a little better since I got my dye stealer.

Hi all just checking in as been a bit quiet. This week I'm really struggling with nausea, headaches and insomnia so that's all been fun. Just trying to power through with anti sickness meds and paracetamol. My sickline is up this weekend and due back to work on Monday after 4 weeks off but no idea how I'm going to cope.
Got my booking in appointment on Tuesday and a pre Christmas private scan booked for 21st as I believe my NHS scan will be in-between Christmas and new year. Literally just trying to get through one day at a time just now 😵

@mummasoph no I don’t mind! 😊 My first was a small baby on 0.6 centile (he was nearly 2 weeks overdue and only 5lb 15) so they do them just to track baby’s growth. Had to have them with my little girl too. She was 6lb 8 though! Also have to take aspirin daily from 12 weeks for it.

Oh gosh yeah I completely get that, that’s great they’re keeping an extra eye on you. That sounds like a lot of extra things to think about!! 🙈 oh gosh how quick if you don’t mind me asking?? I’m a little worried this one is going to come fast too tbh, with my second it was a total of 7 hours but within 2 I went from 2cm to 10cm so I feel like this one is going to be quicker 🙈

@CadoAvo girl I feel you ❤️ we’ll get through it 💪🏻 don’t be sorry for being quiet I think we’re all in the same boat 😭😂😂 I’ve been so emotional as well, crying my heart out at everything.

My toddler just completely put all her weight on her elbow on my pelvis and I’m freaking out 😖😂 pregnancy anxiety can do one. Any other mums of toddlers having the same? I swear since I’ve been pregnant she wants to climb on me more 🤦🏼‍♀️

Random new post after watching this thread for a bit. Due mid July I think so nearly 10 weeks and hit a wall with the thought that THE FIRST TRIMESTER IS HELL!!!!

This is my second pregnancy so I know it gets better but that isn't making it super easy. Fed up of nausea and lack of energy. Also finding this season very hard being busy with work and Christmas/family/socials.

Of course the guilt of "I'm so lucky to be pregnant" kicks in but also WHEN WILL IT END?!?!!

Anyone feeling it too or crossed over to the good side?

We had a private scan on 17th December to announce at Christmas so I’ll attach the picture! I love their little feet. Got my 12 week scan Monday. Can’t come quick enough as had a bleed last night.

Awww how sweet! Congratulations, and I'm sure everything will be fine - I know it's hard but do try not to worry. I hope the bleeding has gone now? Has anyone heard of the nub techs before? I sent my scan in to them and they said it's a boy - it might be a load of shit 😂 but just thought I'd give it a go! Xx

Happy new year all. How is everyone getting on?

I had my dating scan on NYE and been given an official due date of 5th July. Which means I'll be 14 weeks on Sat. Can't believe I've made it to the second trimester 🥰

Hi everyone! I hope you don’t mind me jumping on here, I’m 14 weeks today, due 3rd July finding this pregnancy very tricky. Firstly this pregnancy was unexpected, we had been trying for 6 months and decided to take a break then it happened 😅 I’m finding it really hard to accept that I’m actually pregnant right now.

With my first I ended up having about 14 scans, the 12 and 20 week as normal then 6 growth scans for possible IUGR and 6 which were Doppler scans because my PI levels were elevated (turns out this was due to my umbilical cord being shorter than normal)

I had my 12 week scan on Christmas Eve and the midwife requested to see me again, I have been booked in for growth scans and my PI levels were high again so will likely need Doppler scans again. I was really hoping to avoid so many this time around, I had so much anxiety and ended up being induced which I didn’t want to do but I felt forced into it. Although it was lovely to see the baby so much we had to drive 45 mins each way every week from 28 weeks to my areas fetal medicine unit which was a lot!

I was only in labour for 90 minutes in the end and my daughter was 6lb2oz so not as tiny as expected, she has remained on the 0.4th centile since then but is thriving! So I feel maybe all the extra scans and anxiety aren’t worth it this time round?

Also we’re due to fly to Australia in February, I will be 20 weeks when we go. I’m nervous, has anyone ever flown long haul midway through pregnancy?

Apologies for the silence recently, been suffering badly after being put on iron tablets as a precaution despite my iron levels being fine so have stopped all tablets apart from sickness one and today has been the first day in weeks I've felt better.

Had 12 week nye and was put ahead by 2 days (now 13 weeks 1 day) so now due 9th July and baby is looking good. Baby didn't want to face us at first so I had to wiggle around and when baby did turn he/she gave us a little wave 😍

welcome @Jaej21 abd congratulations. I have to have some additional scans because of small babies too although not near to your amount. Pregnancy anxiety is awful so I feel for you, I would certainly discuss with your midwife about not having so many y if you feel the benefits of not having them outweigh the risks. ❤️

@jumperoo2738 still waitinf for that second trimester energy! 😭 my dating scan went very well, my baby is due on my birthday, 1st July, although measuring impossibly ahead, apparently I’m 15 weeks today. I know when I ovulated as I was tracking everything so it’s just impossible. I’m scared I’m having a big baby… never had one of those before 🙈😂

@Duckwars so glad you’re getting some relief from feeling rubbish, I hope the tablets help. Don’t be sorry for being quiet, It’s awful feeling so rough 😭 I really hope you start to feel better soon. I’m apparently 15 weeks today and still vomiting. Absolutely drained. Can’t WAIT to be able to fancy something to eat again. Awww as if they gave you a wave 😍🥰🥰 that’s so cute. Have you got any ideas what gender they might be?

Oh bless you! I hope the energy kicks in soon! I am 13+3 today. Not back to full energy but not as much as a corpse as before.

Scans are so tricky aren't they! So many people say their babies were measuring big then came out diddy.

I told work today so that feels like a milestone.

@RozzieRoo oh no I hope the vomiting stops soon for you. I've had 3 days of no sickness but still have nausea. Going to wait until baby is born to find out the sex, I'll attach pic of the scan though. All four of us are going to each write what we think the sex will be and when baby will be born, just something extra to get the kids more involved. Can't remember if you said if you were going to find out?

I had my scan and apparently my due date is 13th July.

I'm 14+1 today and today is the first day I have felt like my brain is switched on properly. The body is so wild! How does a few weeks change so much.

Really hope lots of you are turning a corner soon too.

I was still in bed by 8pm but that's life for now!

Hi all. I’m hoping someone can maybe give me some reassurance. My last period started 30th jan 2025 and prior to that I was having a 21 day cycle from a 28 day cycle ( I am also 38 years old so my periods HVe changed slightly) Based on the nhs app on a 21 day cycle I am just over 7 weeks pregnant. I went for an early scan yesterday and was told I had an empty sac and some blood above the sac. The sac was measuring at around 9mm. The scanning clinic couldn’t say for sure I had a miscarriage but just that I would need a follow up scan in 7-10 days. I have just lost my dad ( 2 weeks ago) and went to the scan for reassurance) which is not what I left with :(
My question is- in reality although the nhs app estimated how many weeks you are can it quill be incorrect and I’m actually much earlier then this? As you can imagine I am going out of my mind and just want to hear some experiences.

I found out I am having a baby boy 🩵 and I am 28 weeks now. So so angry and hormonal 🤦🏼‍♀️ the hormones have returned after a relatively pleasant 2nd trimester! Xx
