Hey!

I am 4 weeks 6 days today and wondering if anyone out there is of similar gestation or has similar due date to me! Feeling quite lonely in this pregnancy (last pregnancy my best friend was pregnant at the same time so we always had each other!) and just wondered if there was anyone else feeling the same and wanted to share experiences 😊

I’ve had mild symptoms come and go and got my dye stealer on cheapie yesterday at 21dpo 💖

Been panicking about miscarriage as I’m sure lots of people do, but feeling a little better since I got my dye stealer.

Hello! Scan didn't go well today, sadly 😔. The gestational sac is still empty, and it's only grown 3mm in a week..so it's only 7mm today. The midwife said that they can't call it a miscarriage yet as there's growth, but at nearly 7 weeks, there should be more.

We're obviously gutted! But doing okay, it's out of our control, and I'm sure it'll happen it time.

We have a final scan next Wednesday, but they're not hopeful, and have said to prepare for the worst. They also gave us information leaflets on surgical or medical management.

Girls not the best news for me this morning either, I’ve started passing browny CM 😣 had it with my DD around 5 weeks and everything was fine (I’m now 7+) but since I’ve passed it I’ve started feeling ever so slight backache. Not sure if I’m just imagining it, but I’m not so sure if this is going to end well this time ☹️

@RozzieRoo sorry you've woken to this. You've been through this before and everything was fine so got everything crossed for you it's the same this time around. I know it's hard but try to keep yourself and especially your mind busy with other things. Are you able to have a scan to check? X

Thank you @Duckwars ❤️ trying not to panic, just know it can go both ways and I’m not feeling very confident this time ☹️ I rang the GP and they just told me to go to the hospital which I can’t do because I’ve got my little girl. I’ve rang the EPU and they said they’d ring back after 4:30. Hopefully they arrange for a scan, but seeing as I had one only last Friday (not through the EPU though) I doubt they will scan me again. Debating whether to get a private one done tomorrow xx

When I was pregnant with my first I had brown CM around week 7/8 and 13 and was told sometimes it's because that's when you'd normally have a period it can cause some bleeding. It may explain it for you?

Thank you @Babydreamer123 thats a really plausible explanation to be honest. Fingers crossed. I feel like my pregnancy symptoms haven’t been as strong for a few days so I’m just in ultimate panic mode 😣 it seems to have subsided a little so fingers crossed.

spoke to EPU and she wasn’t overly concerned but said if it gets worse get in touch with the GP in the morning and they can refer me ❤️

All of my symptoms have gone apart from sore breasts. I am struggling with the anxiety too and have a follow up scan on Wednesday. Were yet to see a heartbeat so I feel incredibly nervous for that. You have seen a heartbeat so that is a really positive sign. Remember brown discharge isn't usually cause for concern, it's when it's bright red.

@Babydreamer123 early pregnancy is incredibly anxious ridden isn’t it 😢. Every time I think I’ll be more relaxed and if anything I think it gets harder. How far along are you now? Best of luck for Wednesday ❤️ it must be going so slowly.

I'm approx 6w4d so still very early. When I had my scan a week ago today they said I was five ish weeks and saw a gestational sac and yolk sac. I thought I'd be more relaxed second time around but I'm the opposite!

@RozzieRoo that's good they will see you if need to. Has it eased any? Unfortunately symptoms come and go which makes you go into overdrive, over thinking and just general anxiety. Early pregnancy is utter 💩 the not knowing is hard but you've got this! X

@Babydreamer123 hope your scan goes well on Wednesday and you see that little heartbeat.

Last 2 days I've been suffering with constipation which I've never had in pregnancy before. Chemist gave me lactulose and omg never again, I'd rather have the constipation!!

For those going through the not knowing stage, I hope everything is going OK ❤️

@RozzieRoo I’m sure like everyone else is saying that it’s totally normal. If you remember I had brown spottting for the first week or so after my positive test, the EPU doctor I saw really wasn’t bothered by it as long as it stayed brown! So fingers crossed!!

The anxiety is terrible though, every time I go to the bathroom and wipe I’m worried!!! Hopefully this gets better as we go on with time, can’t wait for my 12 week scan now!

Hi please can I join, I’m currently 4w3d and this will be my first. Bit worried as I have zero symptoms apart from missed period and positive tests! No fatigue, bloating, nausea or anything. Just trying to take it day by day and not worry too much. Will be nice to find others to share the scary early stages with! 🙏🏻

@Countrygirl300 I remember you having the spotting, it has brought me some comfort knowing I’m not the only one in our little group ❤️

@Duckwars yeah you’re right it really is!! I’m still a bit crampy and I am still spotting pinky brown discharge which is worrying me with the two symptoms together, but also feeling quite sick which is reassuring. Went to EPU today and my hCG levels are 156,467 which are good for my gestation and my cervix is shut so they’re not too worried. Got another scan Monday to check for heartbeat. 💓

@OneGladTiger welcome 🥳 and congratulations 💓 if it’s any reassurance my symptoms didn’t kick in much until around 6 weeks 💓 it almost doesn’t feel real until they do! But that line says it all 🥰🥰🥰 is this your first?

@RozzieRoo im really praying everything is ok and it's just a bit of spotting which is completely normal and explainable.

I lost all my nausea yesterday and I'm feeling very anxious about it why all of the sudden it would stop has anyone else had this? It just seems very sudden when I've been feeling sick all day every day pretty much since I found out! Xx

@mummasoph thsnk you ❤️ how far along are you? Mine definitely disappeared for a good few days and I had more energy (it was heaven to be honest, running around after my tot and feeling sick is not the one!) around 7 and a half weeks, and then it came back xx

@RozzieRoo I know it'll be a nervous wait until Monday but it sounds positive with your hcg levels and cervix. Keep us updated x

I'm 7w+5d today, that's reassuring to know that similar happened to you! I don't know about you girls but I cannot wait to be out of this first trimester it's hit me really tough this time round I can't ever remember feeling this bad with either of my girls. Xx

@mummasoph when I was pregnant with my dd, I had the usual symptoms but then when I was pregnant with ds I felt different so had a feeling was having a boy that time (didn't find out with either until gave birth). Was hoping I'd have an inkling this time around but this pregnancy it is completely different, I feel a lot worse with more symptoms. Definitely looking forward to feeling better 😂

You did so well not to find out with either. I found out with both of mine but don't think we will this time, both times I was convinced I was having a boy as had no morning sickness and craving cheeseburgers 😂😂 but had two girls! Feels so different this time and I have all the nausea so maybe I just have opposite symptoms to whatever I'm having and maybe this time it's a boy 😂 who knows! Bless you, it's been a tough old first trimester I'm hoping the symptoms will ease off in the next couple of weeks and I hope the same for you too! 😘 xx

Are you finding out with this one? With our other kids we got fed up of people moaning at us for not finding out so this time around, I'm not telling anyone I'm pregnant 😂

Last couple of hours I've been having period type pains which I know is normal for 7 weeks but still puts you on edge.

@Duckwars do you mind explaining why period pains is normal for 7 weeks? I've had dull period pains for three days with brown / purplish spotting / bleeding. I'm 7w today

Hahaha people are so impatient!! I haven't told any of my family yet, the family dynamic has changed over the last couple of years and I'm just a bit wary of telling everyone which is sad but my partner has told all his side of the family. We have said we're not going to find out this time but I know we'll get to 16 weeks and my partner will say let's book a private scan and see what we're having 😂😂 he's one of those impatient people!!

Aww I really hope it's just normal pregnancy cramping and will pass for you, I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and my nausea has gone which is wonderful but I've also felt anxious thinking that must mean something is wrong. Just got to try and stay positive, got my midwife appt a week tomorrow and I'll be 3 months exactly on Christmas Eve so hoping for a scan on or before then. Xxx

@Babydreamer123 your uterus is expanding to its quite common to get period type cramps. If you're getting any type of blood, it's always best to get it checked at your nearest EPU.

@mummasoph tell them when you're ready but it's good you have atleast his side to speak to if you need to. Hahaha you'll just have to hide the bank card so he can't! We've always waited until I've given birth and my husband tells me what we have but when we had ds, instead of we've got a boy, it was IVE GOT A BOY 😂
Do you not have a date for your first scan? Be good if it was Christmas eve be very special for you both.
