I have found out VERY early that I am pregnant and due early June (I am only 10dpo today) and found out yesterday I am pregnant (22 Sept)

Wanted to start this thread for those of you who have also just found out :) I found the thread when I was pregnant with my son super helpful!

I'm Lexie, 32, have a 14 month old son so am just squeezing in 2 under 2 :)

I’ve sent a private message for the WhatsApp group but not sure if they’re still using mumsnet? Please could someone post a link for the one with due dates in the second half of June? I’m 5+3 and due 23rd June if all goes well x

I’ve just started progesterone and hating it! I remember some of the girls in my first WhatsApp group said it was better if used it rectally (embarrassed face 😳haha), does anyone have any experience of that? Can you do it either way or do you need to be advised to by a doctor or nurse?

Welcome and Congrats! We have the same due date. Smile

I'm currently under EPU though so trying not to get too excited until after my scan tomorrow

mumofone1111 · 23/10/2024 11:22

@MummyMammoth totally agree and understand ❤️ I hope you're ok and sending love

I'd love to join too :)

@CAM8891 @Bubblegu04 I'm 21st :)

mumofone1111 · 23/10/2024 11:25

How is everyone?

With my previous pregnancies and babies I've always had really sore nipples from super early and nausea. Had a bit of nausea but nothing much and nipples/boobs are totally normal. This is over many losses and 2 babies so over 10 pregnancies all been the same and I'm panicking why this one is different 🙈 tests are getting stronger so no reason to worry but can't help it

I think they say every pregnancy is different so not to worry about different symptoms. My boob/nipple soreness comes in waves, one day it's hardly there the next it's back.. only other real symptom I've got is my taste, it's like I've swallowed disinfectant.

These first few weeks are horrible, I forgot what it's like as my DD is 8 now

mumofone1111 · 23/10/2024 11:30

@CAM8891 totally agree just odd that I've had 10 plus all the same/similar but this is so so different 🙈 I also had the horrid taste with the others couldn't stomach coffee (Decaff or normal) this time nothing 😂 I mean I'm not complaining but mind in overdrive. If something is wrong, in the wrong place, if different because more than 1 in there 😂

Bewildened · 23/10/2024 11:32

@mumofone1111 my symptoms have been so much worse this time than any of my previous pregnancies - I did start to suspect twins but definitely only one in there!

What sex are your kids? With my boy the sickness was minimal and I had lovely skin and hair, whereas with my girl I had awful nausea and spots, which is also what I’ve got this time. We aren’t finding out though so it will be a surprise.

CAM8891 · 23/10/2024 11:32

@mumofone1111 oh I know.. it's bizarre. I'm currently pending a scan to check it's not ectopic - booked for tomorrow, so my anxiety is through the roof at the moment. Can't wait to be able to chill and enjoy the pregnancy (hopefully) as it's my last one!

mumofone1111 · 23/10/2024 11:37

@Bewildened one of each so odd that so different after so many the same . Oh that's amazing! I'd love to not find out but don't think I have the patience

@CAM8891 🤞🏻 for you, what's made that suspected?? Hope everything's ok ❤️

CAM8891 · 23/10/2024 11:40

@mumofone1111 I've had lower left (ovary) pain for about 3 days. Ranging from sharp to dull. They aren't overly concerned but my bloods came back high enough hcg for them to scan, but the epu here doesn't seem to have many sonographers to do urgent scans so I have to wait.

Will you be getting an early private scan or holding out til 12 weeks? Also, have you been able to register with midwife yet? I called ours last week and they said it's too early to register and call back this week

mumofone1111 · 23/10/2024 11:53

@CAM8891 that's frustrating they don't have enough to check you. 🤞🏻 everything's fine.

Yeah think I'll book one for about 7 weeks just to check for peace of mind before telling family. Yeah it's an online referral and got my first app for November already

That's odd that they say it's too early

mumofone1111 · 23/10/2024 12:36

I'm getting a pain/ache when coughing here and wondered if anyone else has the same? Totally new to me and not very comfortable 🙈 only just started coughing so not strain from too much coughing. See yellow circle. Worse when standing not bothering me when sat down

MaSads · 23/10/2024 13:19

Hi everyone, joining this thread as my due date will be early July but I imagine due to c section it will be end of June date . I am very early pregnancy, after having my dd 6 years ago. Glad to be on mumsnet and being able to talk to other mums to be for support x

Iamnewherex · 23/10/2024 13:34

Hello! Can I join?

I'm about 5+2 with baby number 4 🙂 due date roughly 23rd June.

Have been absolutely floored with a massive head cold since I got a positive test! Obviously my mind is racing that it's something more sinister but know in all likelihood it will just Bea rough head cold..

Nice to meet you all! X

CAM8891 · 23/10/2024 13:41

@Iamnewherex welcome due date buddy!

LS888 · 23/10/2024 14:03

Is anyone else thinking of just waiting until 12 weeks for a scan? I’m undecided about an early one. I’ve had them previously at around 7/8 weeks.

I’m currently 5+1 but will actually be less than this as I ovulate late.

I’m also feeling less nauseous than with previous pregnancies. Even though I was feeling sick just before I tested. It seems to have settled a bit now. Trying to keep calm as every pregnancy is different.

LS888 · 23/10/2024 14:03

Also I’ve been testing daily on cheapies and have stronger lines each day and got a 2-3 weeks on a clear blue yesterday.

Chelle2406 · 23/10/2024 14:40

Hi everyone ☺️ and congratulations!
I'm Michelle I'm 40 and just found out I'm pregnant yesterday. So due around 13th june i think. I am so scared and it hasn't really sunk in yet, like I'm struggling to believe its true. I had a miscarriage 4 years ago and this is the first time I've conceived since. I'm hoping and praying that this works out ok

Angelselevenx · 23/10/2024 14:47

@mumofone1111 I get this! I googled and says it's round ligament pain?

Angelselevenx · 23/10/2024 14:48

@Bubblegu04 I use rectally and not had any issues. Been on it that way since 2dpo x

MummyMammoth · 23/10/2024 17:09

@Bubblegu04 my progesterone says it’s for PV use - check with the prescriber if it’s OK to use PR in your case.

deleteitforpro59 · 23/10/2024 17:49

Really struggling to eat healthy foods.

My body is craving all the sugar (just like my other two pregnancies)

I have promised myself I will eat well this time so I don't just live on sugar and as a consequence have exhaustion the whole 9 months.

I have failed so far. Easter HmmEaster Shock

PlanABC · 23/10/2024 19:11

I hope everyone is doing alright or as well as they can be. I randomly started feeling a bit sick today (5+6).

Re progesterone, I'm on 3 a day and the middle one is rectal. I hate them too ugh.. but I won't complain too much as it's for a good cause, hopefully.

Just wanted to post the facebook link for some of the new faces (congratulations!), but now pressure to join right now :) x
