I have found out VERY early that I am pregnant and due early June (I am only 10dpo today) and found out yesterday I am pregnant (22 Sept)

Wanted to start this thread for those of you who have also just found out :) I found the thread when I was pregnant with my son super helpful!

I'm Lexie, 32, have a 14 month old son so am just squeezing in 2 under 2 :)

@Angelselevenx there was a sack and a circle in it that the dr described as ‘the baby’. He didn’t seem concerned that we didn’t see the heartbeat, but obviously it would have been reassuring to.

Great that you saw it Smile

Angelselevenx · 19/10/2024 17:06

@MittensForKittens123 honestly I went with the expectation we wouldn't see it, everyone told me 6w would be too early but it's definitely 50/50. Have they booked you in for a rescan?

MittensForKittens123 · 19/10/2024 17:50

@Angelselevenx yes I go back in 2 weeks when I’ll be 8+1. I’m on holiday in the meantime, and had been planning on waiting til after holiday for a first scan so I wasn’t worrying too much on holiday. But the spotting meant I had to have the early scan after all.

I mostly just feel like whilst I really want this baby and this pregnancy to work out, if I’m going to end up with a miscarriage anyway, it seems really unfair it might happen whilst we’re on holiday - as well as having to avoid nice foods and obviously drinking whilst on holiday. I know I sound petty talking about that, it just feels like nothing is ever straightforward. I’d also really like to talk to a friend about things, but I have another friend with a lot going on at the moment, so I don’t feel deserving.

Not petty at all! That really is rubbish timing and sorry to hear the stress you're going through. That's the beauty of these forums I suppose. We're all here with you xxx

Hello..would love to join you all. Think I am around 6 weeks with baby number 4...not exactly planned so taken a week to get my head around it! My symptoms are nausea, amazing sense of smell & vivid dreams so the same as my other pregnancies so far. Lovely to read everyone's stories so far

deleteitforpro59 · 21/10/2024 01:51

I have been waking at 315

245

215

And today 130am

Once I wake I haven't been able to get back to sleep. Really hope this isn't the case tonight but currently wide awake 🥴

I'm having something similar, waking at very exact times (252, 543) most if not every night! Struggling to go back to sleep and find mind is racing whatever I do !

I've woken to some blood. Trying not to panic. Will ring doctor at 11ish if its still going. Anyone had this and it's been fine?

I had some bleeding with my last pregnancy and it was fine - I just had a little blood clot next to baba at my 8 week reassurance scan and they said it would go on its own which it did without any problems. Little one is now a happy 22 month old. Big hugs xxx

KentishDreamer30 · 21/10/2024 08:09

Congratulations and thanks for starting this thread and I love to join! 🎉 I'm 7 weeks along with a due date around June 9th. It's my first pregnancy, so I've got a mix of feelings—excited but also a bit anxious, especially since I had a miscarriage last year. Sending good luck and positive vibes to all the mums here! Wish me good luck!!!

LacedBouquet · 21/10/2024 10:33

Morning girls! How's everyone's nausea doing? I've been complaining the last few days about all day nausea but it's turned into me throwing everything up including water. I've tried ginger biscuits and crackers but haven't worked. Anyone else the same and found something they can keep down? I'm 6+3 today.

ThisElatedMintDreamer · 21/10/2024 11:00

Hi ladies,
Ive had a little bit of red spotting yesterday. It was only after I’d had a bm (sorry tmi but constipation is a headache atm) it was only on the tissue when I wiped twice and nothing since. My cm is very white with no tinge of blood so I’m assuming the blood hasn’t came from high up, not sure if anyone has had this? I was told I had a ectropian in my last pregnancy so not sure if it could be related.

Kels21 · 21/10/2024 11:00

Hiya, I’m 7 weeks due around 9th of June, and really just wondering if anyone else feels like this? Other than being a bit more tired in the evening, and not really knowing what I want to eat ever I really do not feel pregnant and tbh it’s giving me anxiety, I feel like I’m gonna be told it’s not viable or somethings wrong. I might have to book an early scan as i genuinely just feel on edge 😂😂

LS888 · 21/10/2024 11:02

@LacedBouquet are you taking prenatal vitamins? My sickness in my last pregnancy was worse when I took them. This time I’m taking a multivitamin and a separate folic acid and vitamin D and a separate dha capsule. I had awful nausea but was only sick a handful of times. This time nausea was a tell tale sign before I took a test but I don’t think it’s as bad as last time. Not sure if I should be worried about it or it just hasn’t kicked in fully yet! As I’m only just under 5weeks. I feel for you anyway as sickness and nausea isn’t nice. I just kept snacking last time which wasn’t great for the weight but kept the nausea at bay a bit.

I feel the same way, although I'm tired from just after lunch 🤣.

I had an early scan at 6 weeks, so I'm definitely pregnant 😂. I still sometimes feel like maybe I'm not as I don't have the symptoms my friends have had or what I've read about.

I just think everyone and everyone pregnancy is different to try to ease my anxiety 🧡

KentishDreamer30 · 21/10/2024 11:30

@Kels21 I was feeling the same few days ago because my symptoms, like sore boobs and morning sickness, just disappeared. I even thought about getting a private scan but I did a pregnancy test to see if it was still dark and fortunately it was Thank God! . I'd suggest doing another test to check if it’s still dark, as it might give you some reassurance. But if you're still worried, maybe going for a scan would be a good shout. xx

I'm taking the Methyl Pregnancy Multivitamins from Biocare. I did start them recently so that could be it but haven't taken in a day or so due to the sickness.
I think with nausea the more exposure you've had before to HCG/ a specific protein released by the placenta, you're less likely to have it. So if you have had a baby before then you may not get that sickness until you reach higher levels. I wasn't really sick at all until I hit 5w5d! I had a day of bad indigestion and then when that cleared the nausea took its place. It is not fun but also helps my anxiety. Hopefully things are progressing ok

Oh no, try not to panic. Can be completely normal! Did you ring EPU see if they can get you in? X

Ah thanks so much to both that answered me, it’s a crazy time, I was so sick on my last, he’s a boy I’m thinking it’s different because I might be having a girl then I think maybe every pregnancy is just different. I’d love a little girl to finish off our family but I’m trying not to get my hopes up 😂 I have a daughter 12 who’s desperate for a sister and then 3 boys after her 😂 so it would be really lovely x

LS888 · 21/10/2024 13:14

@LacedBouquet that makes sense. Maybe why I’m feeling less nauseous this time as I had a mmc in July when I was 9 weeks. So my body recently had the pregnancy hormones. I hadn’t thought of that before.

Bewildened · 21/10/2024 13:22

I don’t think that theory works for me at all - I’m 6+4 today and constantly nauseous, the worst I’ve ever been in any of my 9 pregnancies!

(I’ve had several mcs, inc one in July, and 2 kids). In my case I’ve only had sickness when the pregnancy has worked out, and it was much worse with my daughter (dc2) than my son. So if I had to put money on it I’d guess this one was a girl but who knows!

I think every pregnancy is just different.

LS888 · 21/10/2024 13:27

@Bewildened good to hear your experience too! You can read so much into everything I’m trying just to stay calm and be more relaxed this time. Only early days for me! I’ve just had a notification from badger notes that the midwives use here. But when I log in it has my previous mmc details as the due date etc. hoping someone calls later and I can clarify. Won’t be due an appointment for a few weeks.

SaturnSpark · 21/10/2024 14:22

My nausea comes and goes. It’s subsided a little over past few days.
I’m just always feeling tired now and never really know what I want to eat! Totally gone off biscuits and tea which is weird for me.

I was a little worried about the nausea/symptoms coming and going but hearing it’s quite normal is reassuring.

Angelselevenx · 21/10/2024 14:32

6+2 here and feel like I constantly have indigestion and my food just isn't settling and sits in my throat 😂 only seem to get nausea when I'm hungry that subsides once I've eaten x
