Hi @Synergy94. Just wondering how you are? I still have fluctuating symptoms at 6+1 so wondering how you are as you're a bit ahead of me

Nausea has been in full force since Sunday, pretty much from the moment I wake until I sleep! Only relief is when I’m eating or sleeping 😅 Still having daily small amounts of brown/pink discharge but have been told unless bright red, not to worry. Have a scan this weekend so keeping everything crossed for a healthy bubba.

Aoife2024 · 02/05/2024 18:20

Ah that's great news @Synergy94 ... although I know the nausea isn't pleasant but hopefully all will go well now for your scan!

AlbieBrz · 02/05/2024 18:35

@Aoife2024 I'm at about the same stage as you (6 weeks) and my symptoms fluctuate constantly! One minute I feel completely normal, then an hour later my boobs hurt or I feel exhausted or nauseous (or both!). My younger sister has had two successful pregnancies and also had fluctuating symptoms in the first trimester, so I think it's not uncommon! Trying hard to not associate the intensity of symptoms with how well the pregnancy is going, but it's hard not to!

Aoife2024 · 02/05/2024 18:44

Yes, the first trimester is hard going isn't it @AlbieBrz. I had a lot of nausea with my first pregnancy and have a healthy little girl, I had a miscarriage at 9/10 weeks a few months ago and no nausea so that's why I'm very focused on it. I know some people have no nausea and go on to have healthy pregnancies but It feels strange having no food aversions at all. It might just take bi longer to kick in. I have other symptoms like tender breasts and tiredness although at times I feel energetic

Synergy94 · 02/05/2024 19:16

@Aoife2024 I remember being really stressed this time last week as symptoms had pretty much disappeared so completely normal for them to come and go! Regretting wishing for symptoms now 😂

Aoife2024 · 02/05/2024 20:14

I know @Synergy94 , I can imagine I'd feel the same...we're never happy 😂

MissMadam · 02/05/2024 20:54

I feel so rough, I don’t know if I can describe how I feel as like nausea. It’s just a constant feeling bad, and sometimes if I eat it stops. And I forgot about the constant need to spit from last time.

Oh my goodness, I totally feel you on the constant need to spit!

Mamaxo · 03/05/2024 10:05

Anyone else just can't stop crying? Only 6 weeks and all I do is cry 😂

Nbaby · 03/05/2024 12:21

7 weeks today and sickness has hit full effect. Had a scan booked for tomorrow for reassurance and make sure everything’s in right place and hopefully get seeing a heartbeat. Never had an internal scan before would it be common to bleed afterwards?

Lucylaughing · 03/05/2024 12:28

@Nbaby I've had a few internal scans and not had any bleeding, but I think sometimes people get a bit of spotting from the wand irritating the cervix. You're best asking them I think

littlepanda88 · 03/05/2024 12:31

@Nbaby I am 7wks 2 days now and had a reassurance scan yesterday - I thought they would do internal but they did abdominal, the sonographer asked if I had a full bladder as that really helps see more! So maybe you won't need internal? Good luck! It was so good to see a little heartbeat on screen! :)

Nbaby · 03/05/2024 12:35

@Lucylaughing ah thanks I’ve never had any bleeding during pregnancy so hopefully not as I worry over everything
@littlepanda88 i actually phoned them and asked and they said they would try abdominal first so hopefully. I think bleeding would cause me to worry right until the 12 week scan. Did you measure the 7w1d? As I'll be that tomorrow when going , thank you and aw congrats I’m sure it was such a relief

littlepanda88 · 03/05/2024 12:39

@Nbaby oh that's great - internal is totally fine as well but I think external is just easier obviously! :) I knew when I had ovulated so was pretty right with my dates, slightly further along than if I take it from LMP. Aww it'll be great, I know it's only a snapshot of that day but it's so nice to just see them! Just looked like a little peanut :)

Iamnotalemming · 03/05/2024 15:03

Question for those ladies who are expecting baby no. 2 or more: are you showing earlier than last time? I'm 8 weeks and I feel like I am showing (or perhaps I just look a bit overweight). Boobs bigger as well.

catmumma84 · 03/05/2024 18:02

Had an early scan today at 5 weeks and 6 days and saw a little heartbeat 🥰
starting to feel super tired now and nauseous/food averse …. Think we’ll book a private scan for around 10 weeks 😊

My boobs are bigger and I’m so bloated I look pregnant. I work with mainly women I’d be surprised if no one’s noticed. I’ve been hiding in my fleece but it’s getting warmer so not sure I’ll be able to hide till my 20 week scan.

littlefox90 · 03/05/2024 19:05

Hi everyone, I'm 33 and 5w 3 days, due around the end of Dec. 🙂

JNicko · 03/05/2024 19:15

Hi ladies, Iv been a bit quiet on here but starting to get a little more hope and positivity. Due to multiple miscarriages I had a scan at what I thought I was 6w. They saw yolk sac and gest sac and dated me at 5w. Just had a private scan before my next NHS check up as I was so anxious and I saw little baby and heartbeat. Measuring 6w 3d. I'm re assured, for now! 🥰

Due date atm is 24th December 😍

Quolla · 03/05/2024 19:16

@Iamnotalemming massively! I look like I'm four months pregnant?! Don't remember this from last time. I'm quite short and worried I'm going to start showing pretty much immediately.

Iamnotalemming · 03/05/2024 19:33

@Quolla @MissMadam glad it's not just me! After I've had dinner in the evening I look about 4 months, it's really weird. Am also hiding in big jumpers but will be difficult as weather gets warmer.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 03/05/2024 20:06

Im 9 weeks 3 days already gone from 38 d to 38 dd and from size 14 to 16/18 UK bottoms thanks to the bloat
