I’m 5 weeks and I’m not tired … now I’m worried I should be tired?! How many weeks are all you tired ladies? Xx

No please don't feel alarmed, everyone is different and there is no normal. I have waves on fatigue but it's by no means crippling, I'm on my feet waitressing 8 hours a day 5 days a week and still manage to stay awake until 10pm most nights. Some nights I yarn constantly but I got that even before pregnant! I'm 5 weeks + 6 days. XXX

Aoife2024 · 26/04/2024 19:43

I had a crippling migrane today which along with my changing symptoms since Tuesday is making me wonder if im miscarring.. Im 5+2. I feeling calmer today and just thinking if it ends up being a viable pregnancy I'll be over the moon but I'm also preparing myself for fact it may not be

I’m just over 6 weeks and have only felt tired the last few days…if anything up until now I felt more energised than ever but I put it down to the extra vitamins I was taking 😅

Quolla · 26/04/2024 20:58

I had fatigue in my last pregnancy but it didn't kick in this early, it was more weeks 9-12 if I remember right ....I told my parents at seven weeks and they asked how I was and I genuinely said "absolutely fine" 😅 not everyone gets symptoms early or at all!

This one I'm getting mild nausea in the evenings but that's it so far. Waiting to see if the fatigue hits again 😅

Lunamoon23 · 26/04/2024 21:10

Ladies... something I'm starting to find, is a completely loss of appetite. I feel hungry, but the minute I sit down to eat I generally feel sick at the thought. Everything tastes like crap...

I just sat down to eat a Chinese which I'd been dying for all day. Beef chow mein and salt and pepper chips. I generally ate like 5 mouthfuls and I had to stop. Just couldn't stomach it.

Is this normal? Should I be worried I'm not eating enough?

I wouldn't have thought a migraine would indicate a miscarriage? What are the other symptoms you mention that are making you think that? Xxxxx

Oh my goodness, I’m the exact same! My evening meals have been about half the size of what I’m used to and I don’t find myself wanting to reach for snacks throughout the day either - I’ve actually lost a few pounds since finding out I was pregnant.

Aoife2024 · 26/04/2024 21:41

Hi @Lunamoon23 . My symptoms seemed to disappear or dissipate on Tuesday... so that's what I'm basing it on..then when I got the migrane I'm wondering if its indication of dropping hormones. I'm hoping I'm wrong, I still feel some tenderness in breasts so it's possible all is okay. Just have to wait and see. I hope all is okay with you , thanks for the message❤️

Lunamoon23 · 26/04/2024 22:13

@Synergy94 ahhh! Thank god I'm not alone, I've just been googling it and thankfully it's very normal and nothing to be concerned about. Apparently at this early stage baby is fine with you eating so little and it's the 2nd and 3rd trimester it starts to count which is reassuring. I've barely eaten a thing all day and yet I'm not hungry.. I was for my Chinese but that very quickly passed once dishing up..
I'm kind of gutted, as I'm off on an all inclusive holiday Sunday for two weeks and the thought of unlimited food got me excited! Haha hoping I find some things I can stomach.

@Aoife2024 that's ok, symptoms do come and go, that's really normal. It's also normal for you to experience symptoms others don't and vice versa, no two body's are the same and therefore we will all experience things differently, just like pain thresholds. I know it's difficult not to read into things but unless your bleeding extremely heavy with persistent and painful cramps I would do your best not the think the worst and just ride the wave of early pregnancy. The migraine is possibly hormone related but it doesn't signal a miscarriage, try to stay optimistic and positive x

Molly4689 · 27/04/2024 05:46

Morning, hope everybody's doing ok?

7+2 today and I have fluctuating symptoms and they're driving me mad! I was so ill on Thursday I had two naps and could barely work but my symptoms gradually got better yesterday. No need to nap! My LO woke me up at 5 am and not a lot really - a bit nauseous momentarily but I've eaten and not needed to take my anti sickness. My boobs don't feel particularly sore and a bit flat! Midwife app on Wednesday and can't decide if to book a scan for before (to save myself the misery of going to a booking app for a pregnancy that's not progressing) or after..,

I has been thinking of booking private ones about 9 weeks for my sanity but wanted to see if they'll give me a date for my 12 week scan at the booking app (i'm sure they did with DS).

magicalmama · 27/04/2024 06:34

Hello! I'm 6 weeks and had a scan yesterday - they found a heartbeat! Too early to date it but I'm getting another scan in a couple of weeks as I've had recurrent miscarriages back to back. Nervous but quietly hopeful!

RedRobyn2021 · 27/04/2024 08:52

6 weeks today and the moment I wake I feel sick, which is really horrible. There's never enough room in our bed because my 3yo keeps coming in with us around 1/2am

I feel rough this morning. Slower start thank god as my partner doesn't leave for work until 9 today.

The memories of how much hard work pregnancy is, is coming back to me. Except when I was around 28 weeks I remember feeling on top of the world until I got to 37 and then suddenly I felt enormous and uncomfortable

This is the part I’m dreading, my two year keeps coming into my bed. I’ve no idea how this will work when I get bigger. I have awful back pain today from making room for him. I don’t remember having back pain so early last time.

Congratulations! Were you 6 weeks exactly on your early scan? (From first day of last period?) I want to book one as soon as possible to reassure me everything ok so far but I’m scared it will send me the other way if there’s no heartbeat so worried to book it for too early 😟

HopeDec24 · 27/04/2024 15:00

Hi all, please can you offer me some advice? I've lost count of how many rounds of IVF we have done but I tested positive last week and started to have lots of pregnancy symptoms. Hot, flushed cheeks, very sore boobs, sore lower back and so on but the symptoms are disappearing. I'm so worried that I'm not pregnant anymore. I should be 5 weeks....

RedRobyn2021 · 27/04/2024 15:58

@MissMadam yes there really won't be enough room when I've got a bump. I think I'll either go in with her or her dad will go into her bed. The only thing is she has a floor bed and getting in and out of it is going to be difficult when I'm bigger.

Nbaby · 27/04/2024 16:31

Hi all, I was thinking of booking a private scan at 7+1? Has anyone had scans yet would this be a good time? Or what has everyone booked if going for a private scan

littlepanda88 · 27/04/2024 16:34

@Nbaby I've booked an early scan for Thursday when I'll be 7 weeks exactly so hoping that it will be enough to see something! :) feeling anxious about it but excited as well. I think by 7 weeks you should see a little heartbeat as well! I think the wait until 12 weeks is quite a lot, hence why I booked one :)

Nbaby · 27/04/2024 16:37

@littlepanda88 aw have to let us know how it goes for you! The wait to 12 weeks is soo long I’ll definitely be booking one, thinking of this Saturday at 7+1

littlepanda88 · 27/04/2024 16:39

Aww yes I will do! How have you been feeling? My main thing is nausea in the mornings mostly, it's pretty terrible when I wake up and I've gone off some foods so struggling to eat in the morning, but need to in order to get rid of the nausea haha. Yes I think that will be a nice time to book, means it's only a matter of weeks until the 12 week one :)

Nbaby · 27/04/2024 16:47

I’m having very little symptoms but trying not to worry as don’t have anything “bad” happening as well. Sense of smell is very strong which is putting me off certain things.. all of a sudden cannot stand the smell of weetabix when I have had it most mornings and make it for dd almost every morning. Headaches and very tired in evenings no sickness yet (would love to be sick atleast once for reassurance)

littlepanda88 · 27/04/2024 16:51

@Nbaby I felt the same way, I mainly had tiredness up until a few days ago when the nausea kicked in. It goes away then I don't feel too bad, it's just the morning time. Hoping it stays that way! Yes the smells, I love toast in the morning and haven't been able to make it this past week at all, just went right off it

It's funny we want the symptoms to show things are ok but at the same time, don't want them! It's still early so I'm sure more will come :)

I’ve booked my private scan for this week, I’ll be around 7.5 weeks 😊

Baby will get nutrients from your reserves even if you're not eating, I have the exact same issue where I'm so hungry and excited to eat something then immediately put off. But I just take tiny bites and try my best. This part of the symptoms will pass.

Nbaby · 27/04/2024 17:31

@Synergy94 aw let me know how it goes
