@UnicornPrincessSarah @dreammama

Yeh he's very stressed as it's the first baby he has ever wanted don't get me wrong he loves his son but he didn't want kids with her for a reason and she always uses the kid as a weapon to control him. I out a stop to it they contact with her ended and we are going to court and he even admits that he felt powerless until he met me and we decided to go to court to stop the mind games as they are tearing his son apart but she doesn't cae she just wants control of him back which she isn't getting.

Have either of you thought of doing a sneakpeek gender test after 6 weeks? I wanted to but DH is worried if somethinf happened it would make it worse but I disagree.

Hi everyone hope you’re all doing okay today.

The cramping has been intense for me today but no bleeding so just telling myself that is everything just burrowing into place.

@emmies86 glad I’m not the only one obsessing with testing. I was worried about my line progression on easy@home tests so ordered a FRER stick and digital. Really happy with the line so I’m going to try and stop testing now. I have three easy@home tests left but going to try and wait a good few days/this time next week and hopefully see a much darker line. I have read the cheap ones can take a while to show dark lines and for some people they never do.

I am so in limbo of wanting to enjoy this and get excited but also scared because it’s so early. I think I’m 4 weeks 1 day today. I found ttc so hard but I never realised how much anxiety there would be once I actually did conceive! The FRER test has really helped today though.

I have had cramping yesterday and more lime twinges today. My DH won't let me buy anymore tests so I have 2 frer left and 1 digital clear blue. The easy@home ones are still not as dark as the no digital frer.
Having 3 left I might do one a week until I reach 6 weeks one at 4 weeks one at 5 and one at 6 weeks. I'll see how my anxiety plays out. Might have to settle for a 40 pack of easy@home ones.

KitKat791 · 27/03/2024 18:24

@emmies86 I considered ordering more easy@home too but I think it’s a bad idea. Everything I’ve read online says that constant testing just causes more worry. I haven’t told DH that I’m still testing he would probably have the same reaction as yours 😂
One test a week is a good idea I may do the same with my three I’ve got left

icallshade · 27/03/2024 18:36

Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing OK?
In response to some of the posts from the last day, I've stopped testing now which I can't actually believe I feel calm about because I think I tested for around 6 weeks with DD1 🤦🏼‍♀️
I've been cramping on and off too which I know is normal but still a bit stressful. I've also felt really sick the last two days (nausea, really watery mouth like before you're sick) but not actually been sick which is new to me as I had no morning sickness last time.
Has anyone else been feeling sick yet? I thought it was a bit early for that!

emmies86 · 27/03/2024 18:36

@kitkat791 I can see hownit would cause worry and having access to 40 of them I'd be testing at least once a day if not more

UnicornPrincessSarah · 27/03/2024 18:46

@emmies86 Hi i hadn't thought about that but also not even sure what it is or what it involves

@KitKat791 I have been having belly cramps and also back pain in my upper back today to not sure if its all because this week is when my period should be here or just everything doing what it's supposed to be doing lol, I'm 4 weeks today myself

A weekly test does sound good, but I'm also interested to see if my stips got darker daily but need to get more lol.

Just booked an appointment to see my GP and also did the only referral for midwife appointment, I just need to book my early scan in now

Hiya
I'm 40 and found out I was pregnant last Friday for the first time ever following 5 years of trying and two rounds of IVF 😱 my offical test date with the clinic isn't until Saturday but I've been a serial tester and they keep getting stronger! My due date is 4th December and I've already been looking at Christmas newborn outfits on Vinted! Excited, nervous, doesn't feel real and still feel like have a lot of hurdles to get over like scans etc. lovely to meet everyone 😃

UnicornPrincessSarah · 27/03/2024 18:50

@icallshade Oh no sorry to hear the sickness maybe start early for you
I'm not getting that but the cramps are new to me as I don't remember so many cramps last time lol, when do they end lol.

How far can you actually carry on testing to?

Is anyone else not feeling hungry then next min bloody staving with belly growling and rubbing?

I was even saying to DH this month would be our last chance for a 2024 baby lol

I can't wait for the Christmas outfits and maybe even finally a matching Christmas family pic lol

Literally just after sending my message I've started bleeding. Bright red blood and small clots.
Pretty sure it's over for me but will keep you updated. Gutted as my line progression has been amazing 😓

UnicornPrincessSarah · 27/03/2024 19:11

@icallshade sending a virtual hug and prayers hopefully it stops soon, and nothing to serious, I have heard some people can bleed with pregnancy x

@icallshade Oh honey I'm so sorry. Please take carenof yourself and check in when you can. Thinking of you

emmies86 · 27/03/2024 19:43

@unicornprincesssarah sneakpeek is a blood test you do at home and send it away and in a few days you find out the gender. It's done after 6 weeks they check for male dna in your dna and if they find it it's a boy and if they don't it's a girl. It's £89 but I'd love to know that early.

I've literally just been looking at sneakpeak (I'm so impatient 😂) feel like the reviews / results are mixed?

dreammama · 27/03/2024 21:15

@icallshade sending so much love ❤️

dreammama · 27/03/2024 21:16

@emmies86 very torn between wanting a surprise and knowing in advance so I can clothes shop! 🤣 I think until things are safe I’ll keep everything unknown, whether I last the full 9 months without finding out is a diff story….

UnicornPrincessSarah · 27/03/2024 21:45

@emmies86 Ah ok im not sure if I would want to know so soon just in case anything did happen would be nice to know early though lol

icallshade · 28/03/2024 06:37

Thanks @emmies86 @dreammama @KitKat791 @UnicornPrincessSarah

So just a quick update, I had bright red fresh blood last night with 1 clot the size of a 5p, the blood continued upon wiping for around 2 hours and then since then very very minimal brownish yellow but only when I wipe.

I bled in my pregnancy with my DD (from 8-12 weeks, again fresh red blood). I have no idea if this is the same thing again or I've lost this baby. It's obviously way too early for a scan.

I've attached my tests up yesterday morning (8-14dpo), haven't been able to test today as I've run out but will test tonight when they arrive 🤷🏼‍♀️

icallshade · 28/03/2024 17:59

Hi girls, quick update on me...
Just taken a test at 5pm (labelled today) and feel like the line is darker than yesterday's which was fmu?

Still no more bleeding, hanging on here by a thread hopefully 🤞

How is everyone feeling? Any symptoms?

UnicornPrincessSarah · 28/03/2024 18:32

@icallshade Thats excellent news and yes deff darker, did they give you anything with your DD when you had the bleeding?

Today I'm having some twinges in my groin area come and go and a new one for me now erect nipples lol, also my areolas have gone lighter though they were meant to go darker lol

My test today and compared against yesterday's FMU for both as just doing daily FMU now, in beginning evening was darker for me though

@AH2023 @KitKat791 @Gracie95 @Lauren0506 @Onefellfromtheappletree @Sgj91 @Westy84 @dreammama @emmies86 @itsheapsswell How are you all doing today?
