Good thank you! All going well bar the fact I feel a lot more worried about what could happen this time around. I put that down to being 4-5 years older than my first pregnancy haha so I feel like I’m less naive! I did my final pregnancy test that I own yesterday (it was a first response but not an early testing one, it was one of the ‘test from your missed period’ ones I think- this was about 15 dpo) and I’m happy with the result! Keeping everything crossed for everyone! I keep toying with the idea of a early settle your mind scan but I don’t think I can justify the money so I think I’m just going to count down until the 12 week scan :)

Wow that line is amazing and yes looking at the prices they are not cheap, and then I'm thinking they can be good for peace of mind but things can sort of still happen even after then up to the 12 weeks and if going private scan every week be a lot of money lol,

Think its around may we would all be having our 12 week scans

@UnicornPrincessSarah yes that’s exactly it and the pelvis area, nothing major just a dull ache. Oh wow, is this your first? Xx

Would be my second but a rainbow as lost a baby when I was 18 at 7 weeks, for me I'm also finding I'm cramping more before I need to wee then once I have done a wee cramp goes,

Today have had a stitch like pain in my left waist side maybe trapped wind as I'm quiet gassy, and bowel is supper slow so now eating prunes lol

Lauren0506 · 29/03/2024 12:44

@UnicornPrincessSarah oh hun I’m so sorry to hear that. I have had losses in the past also it’s so just awful, I was a nervous wreck through my last pregnancy when he came out absolutely perfect, just such a normal thing to be worried.
Haha bless you, it’s maybe the same for me to, oh I’m sure il have something to rant about down the line lol xx

Hey everyone hope you’re all doing well.

I didn’t test for a few days which has really helped me relax a bit. My mum is a midwife and she said you are pregnant unless something changes so just stop with the testing lol. I decided to test today and got an instant dark line on FRER and a much darker line that I’ve ever had on easy@home so feeling really good now (photos below).

I only have one easy@home test left and not ordering any more. I will do a clearblue digital over the weekend to see how many weeks it says though. I only came off the pill at the end of October and my periods have been a bit irregular so while I’m assuming I’m 4 weeks + 5 I’m not really sure for definite.

Symptoms wise I have been cramping on and off for a few days now and it’s a bit more intense. This has scared me a bit and expected blood every time I go to the toilet but everything is okay so far. It’s the first time I’ve ever been pregnant before and so I suppose I have nothing to compare it to. I’m also having really vivid dreams every night, been really tired and feel very thirsty all the time!

@UnicornPrincessSarah Those lines look great! I am so bloated at the moment too and also a bit constipated.

Westy84 · 29/03/2024 13:01

@UnicornPrincessSarah I'm 11days past a 5 day transfer so in DPO I think I'm basically 16DPO! Anyone else feel like they been on a two night bender? The headaches and generally upset stomach are kicking my butt today. I feel like I should have alcohol breath to go with it 🫠

UnicornPrincessSarah · 29/03/2024 13:11

@KitKat791 Some good line progression there

Im also having cramps ona off and then feel wet and rush to bathroom looking for blood lol, I'm sure we be driving ourselves crazy till may when we 12 weeks lol

I deff recommend prunes or prune juice had a handful and just went to toilet finally lol

@Westy84 Ah ok I'm either 15/17 dpo myself today, I don't have the headaches or upset belly yet but i suppose our body all react differently

OP posts:
KitKat791 · 29/03/2024 13:15

@UnicornPrincessSarah thanks for the tip I think I’m around 17dpo today as well. The cramps are quite scary aren’t they but I think I’m starting to relax a bit more. I do need to pee all the time as well.

Definitely will feel better once we get to 12 weeks, are you still planning an early scan?

@Westy84 I had terrible headaches from about 7dpo to 12dpo they seem to have calmed down a bit now though

UnicornPrincessSarah · 29/03/2024 13:20

@KitKat791 Yeah I'm starting to wee bit more as well now as well. I was thinking about it but my hubby isn't too sure as he said things could still happen between then and 12 week scan, so would just be peace of mind to know its not ectopic really I suppose

Som of the cramps have me heading to google lol

All these tests look great. I've caved abd bought 70 and 2 digitals. DH said no more but 70 should get me through to 14 weeks.

dreammama · 29/03/2024 13:44

@Lauren0506 ah how fab to have a midwife on this thread! This is actually my 3rd pregnancy but I have had 2 previous losses, so would be our first baby 💛 honestly can’t tell you how scared I am and nervous, I just feel like even if things work out I’m going to be so worried the whole 9 months x

Lauren0506 · 29/03/2024 13:52

@dreammama oh hun it is worrying, I worried up until my son came out, I think when you see the little heartbeat it just gives you abit of rest, but I was constantly worried the whole way, I remember alot more of my second and third trimester but nothing about my 1st apart from it being hard down there and the tiredness. Iv had losses too, so you’re bound to worry bless you! Literally nothing we can do but wait and it’s horrible isn’t it 🙈
my parents are absolutely fuming with me because it was very unexpected and very early into a relationship 🙈 but he’s standing by me. Hopefully they come around soon. I hope your situation is easier then mine lol xx

UnicornPrincessSarah · 29/03/2024 13:53

oh wow what is the 70 test brand? can you still test to 14 weeks lol

@dreammama I think it is quite normally to be scared for the 9 months well I hope so because I think I will be myself

Mom med, i got 2 x 20 pack and a 30 pack oops 🫢 found a premom one and tested just now and it's not as dark as I'd like for 13dpo especially as my first positive was 8dpo.

Thank you for this. I'm not sure why I'm so terrified. I think it's because nothing in our relationship has ever been easy mostly due to other people but I've had really bad anxiety disorders since I was a teenager. The fact I'm being slowly taken off my meds for the pregnancy doesn't help either.

How many dpo are you now?

Hi i think the strips are more weaker as I got my faint 9po and got darker each day now 15/17dpo and this is how dark today's is, I was worried to about them being to light, the other pic attached is pic I saw online to show how the strips progress I'm using wondfo brand

Your welcome and don't worry I was also scared/ worried when I was first doing mine and they were pale, if you have so many tests how do you plan to do the test, every day still or maybe 2 times a week?

I was thinking every 2 or 3 days due to how often Hcg levels increase but knowing me it will be everyday. Are you feeling less worried now? Are you still going to test?

UnicornPrincessSarah · 29/03/2024 15:39

@emmies86 still taking each day as it comes trying not to stress/ worry to much but not easy, I'm still testing and think I'll carry on with strips to but maybe like 2 times a week

I am full of cold and miserable which doesn't really help. Feel useless as every time I stand up I get dizzy and DH is looking after everyone and he's getting a cold as well.
