Morning everyone, sorry for graphic pic but can anyone please give an opinion? I went to the toilet this morning at work and seen that colour discharge in my underwear. It’s yellow/ brown tinged and I am honestly terrified this is the start of another miscarriage for me. Do you think this looks like something to be concerned about? I’m 4weeks today.

Tentatively joining as I got my positive yesterday at 10dpo. Only 3.5 weeks with a due date for 7/8 December. This is my first cycle trying again after a miscarriage in January so absolutely terrified and finding it hard to be excited

UnicornPrincessSarah · 27/03/2024 09:48

@AH2023 Welcome 8/10dpo was also the start of my faint positive.
sorry to hear about your loose aswell, I think anyone who has suffered a loss is also scared but we just have to hope and pray all turns out ok sending virtual hug

@dreammama Sorry cant say if that's normal or the start of a MC but I'm also having milky discharge but due to swelling in belly been commando lol so haven't noticed it in pants but when i wipe. I'm 4 weeks today to , sending you hugs and hoping its just normal as discharge can be more in early pregnancy

@UnicornPrincessSarah in wondering if it could be a bit of old implantation blood mixing with usual discharge that’s causing the colour to be a bit off… regardless I’ve gone home from work to be at home. Can’t sit in an office all day this stressed out! Hoping that once I’m home and comfortable I’ll feel better. I have some mild period like pain and lower back pain but again, no idea is that’s a common early pregnancy sign or if I should expect the worst.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 27/03/2024 10:33

@dreammama Yeah best be at home today in your own relaxing environment and try not to stress to much as can make things worse easier said then done I know, just keep eye on how it goes.

Im also have back pain today ranging from middle just under the rib cage and lower back when googling its quiet common as ligaments all moving and relaxing, boobs bit tender as well

It is very common to get backache or back pain during pregnancy, especially in the early stages. During pregnancy, the ligaments in your body naturally become softer and stretch to prepare you for labour. This can put a strain on the joints of your lower back and pelvis, which can cause back pain.

Is cramping and back pain normal at 4 weeks?
At 4 weeks pregnant, cramping might worry you, but it actually may be a sign that baby has properly implanted in the lining of your uterus.

What makes back pain in pregnancy more likely? You’re more likely to experience lower back pain during pregnancy if:

  • you’ve previously experienced lower back pain
  • you had back pain in a previous pregnancy
  • you are overweight
  • you don’t take regular exercise or you spend a lot of time sitting or lying down
  • you do a lot strenuous physical work

@UnicornPrincessSarah I just got home and done two tests to check if they’d got fainter. They still look strong, slightly darker than yesterday too but I can’t shake that feeling of something isn’t right 😔 I guess it’s a waiting game this week….

@UnicornPrincessSarah @dreammama they look great very strong.
I did these just now as I needed to see if it was stronger which they are.
Anyone else terrified and wanting to test daily?
My DH is being cautious and it feels like pessimism which is a bit upsetting. Am I being overly sensitive?

@emmies86 yaaaay! Looks great, how many weeks are you? Yes I am testing constantly because I’m so scared. I really didn’t think I’d be this paranoid as felt I reached a point of thinking “what will be will be” but as soon as I saw a BFP that was it - pure worry and paranoia 😭

I am exactly the same. I'm so happy to have this group as I'm sure I'm driving my husband mental. I am 3 weeks 4 days apparently. How about you?

dreammama · 27/03/2024 12:21

@emmies86 great lines for that amount of time!! I’m 4 weeks today so just keeping everything crossed xx

emmies86 · 27/03/2024 12:30

@dreammama I keep hoping for twins as the positives have been strong since 8dpo. Migth just end up being further along. We can all get through the next 8/9 weeks together.

I'd love twins, yeh I'm excited. I understand being cautious but it feels like he's ruining it a bit.

When i got my first faint positive he was so negetive about it and didn't believe me I felt pregnant weeks ago. I really do understand them worrying but they could let us enjoy being pregnant aswell. I'm glad to have you lovely ladies to share with.
Have you looked at any baby stuff online yet?

UnicornPrincessSarah · 27/03/2024 13:46

@emmies86 Omg have I, now this maybe crazy but I have a amazon baby wishlist since 2022 when I thought I may have been pregnant and for the last year been dragging DH into baby shops lol, he was not impressed lol.

I think for my DH he a bit scared as every time we thought I was period come he said he wont turley believe until I'm late due today/ tomorrow, not sure if they get panic about how we may react if something bad were to happen I'm not sure

Yeh we had some clear blue false positives but he said he would believe a digital test and I got 2 positive digital ones. Now he is saying he will be happy at 13 weeks I just feel like he is moving the goal posts you know?

UnicornPrincessSarah · 27/03/2024 13:59

@emmies86 Oh no not to good, I think myself I'm just praying to get past 6/7 weeks right now as that's when I lost my last. is this your first baby together? Deff sounds like he may have some emotional stuff effecting him that he is worried about but it really is normal, even after 13 weeks I would say yes get excited but we are never fully out the woods until baby is born

Exactally. I can't go the whole pregnancy with hum like this. It's our first together, his 2nd and my 3rd. But his other child was a trap baby she got pregnant because he wanted to leave her and she lied about birth control as he didn't want kids with her. We are currently in court for his now 11yr old as she had a fit over us getting married and stopped contact because she lost her control over him when he met me. It's all so stressful. But she's an awful mother she basically has kids for benefits and sends them away to family every chance she gets.
This is the first baby he has wanted and and I think that's why he's scared, we really tried so hard with the testing and everything.

Sorry for ranting

emmies86 · 27/03/2024 14:15

@unicornprincesssarah. I'm so sorry for your loss. How are you feeling?

Thanks this was 17 years ago now but still always plays on my mind, this will be my first with DH we have been together 16 years.

Deff sounds like your partner is a bit panicky and worried but do try not to take it to heart and hopefully, in his own time he will relax a little, maybe his past experiences where not to nice for him and brought back some bad memories unless they really open up with us we will never really know whats going on in there mind.

dreammama · 27/03/2024 14:31

@emmies86 oh my goodness, that sounds like an absolute nightmare to deal with! Can totally understand why he’s cautious based on that as your baby is so wanted, but completely see your point that you still want to celebrate and him be happy with your news. I’m sure as the weeks go on he will relax, I guess it just shows how much he cares if he’s showing he’s a little worried.
