Welcome all expectant mothers of Oct 2024… This thread has been made as we are nearly getting to the end of the 2nd thread and that was made a little last time and people didn’t find it for a abit so making this one now so people can just add their names until the 2nd thread is full. Hope no one minds me doing this :)

@Fullofconfusion Thinking of you, fingers crossed for tomorrow x

CluelessInLondon · 16/04/2024 21:20

@Fullofconfusion Sending you a hand-hold and I really hope the NIPT shows there's nothing for you to worry about.

OneSunnyFox · 16/04/2024 21:35

@Fullofconfusion best of luck for your blood draw tomorrow! I hope these next 5-10 working days pass for you quickly. It will feel like forever to get your results. Wishing you a low risk result across the board!

ButterflySkies · 16/04/2024 22:05

What's the details of the WhatsApp group? I wasn't going to join until I had my dating scan so now thats out of the way I would be interested 😊

WickWood · 16/04/2024 22:31

I haven't heard about a WhatsApp but would like to join too!

Trifficult · 17/04/2024 07:49

Think it's a FB group not WhatsApp but I don't have the link

Missingpotatocroquettes · 17/04/2024 08:59

13 weeks yesterday and wondering when I'll start to look pregnant. I think I can see the tiniest bit of bump but not sure. When did other people start showing with their first?

Joey2011 · 17/04/2024 09:58

I'll have a look back. There was a WhatsApp group on like the first thread I think.

Joey2011 · 17/04/2024 10:12

Found it. Its so interesting reading back the start of all our journeys 😊

@Missingpotatocroquettes I'm 12 weeks today with my first pregnancy and have somewhat of a little bump, but I have been bloated since 4 weeks so think it's still probably that. From others I've spoken to, it seems that 16 weeks seems to be the mark for most people to start seeing a bump.

CluelessInLondon · 17/04/2024 11:03

@Missingpotatocroquettes I'm 16+4 with first baby and definitely have a bit of a bump forming - still fitting into my normal clothes but they are definitely getting tighter! I've spent a lot of time in the last couple of weeks staring at myself sideways in the mirror to try and work out if it's getting bigger (and don't even get me started on the amount of time spent googling for information about what a 'normal' bump is at 16 weeks...!), or if it's just the extra carbs I've been eating... 😂

4LeafCloverBaby · 17/04/2024 11:06

Hi guys, @Joey2011 @Justkeepswimming91 @WickWood @Trifficult @tryforbabynumber2 just a quick message to say that unfortunately the WhatsApp group is very full now. It’s been going since January & has a lot of members so they won’t be accepting anymore into the group (just to try to keep it a bit more personal) it’s already hard to keep up with the amount of daily messages as it is! 🙈😂
There is a private Facebook group which is lovely & still open to new members. I will add the screenshot of the page to search for. Healthy pregnancy wishes to you all 🤗🎉

No problem! Is it worth us starting another little whatsapp group for us lot? I'm happy to do it if people would like to join but no worries if not!

Justkeepswimming91 · 17/04/2024 11:13

I'd be interested!

Oct24 · 17/04/2024 11:15

I'd be interested.

Sorry been MIA the last couple of weeks. Had a lot going on. Flying back to the UK today!!! Can't wait to be back on home soil!!

Borontobewild · 17/04/2024 11:17

Hi there!

I've been silently following since the first thread and thought it was time to take the plunge and join. I'm 13 +4 and was diagnosed with HG a couple of weeks ago. It's been quite an isolated journey so far, hence my enthusiasm to join the group. I hope everyone else is doing well and wishing you all a pleasant day 😊 💗

Missingpotatocroquettes · 17/04/2024 11:19

@SELE97 I'll hold out for 16 weeks then and hope I see something then! I've also had a ton of bloating but it's mostly gone now and I'm back to having nothing to blame the sickness on haha.

@CluelessInLondon lol everytime I pass a mirror I'm turning to check my belly and I've also been googling pictures of pregnant bellies like a weirdo haha. All my clothes are still fitting though which is a relief because I hate clothes shopping.

SELE97 · 17/04/2024 11:24

@Missingpotatocroquettes oh I totally get you, I've become obsessed because from the start I looked so bloated and like I've put on weight, my clothes don't fit me or they're just too tight and uncomfortable but I still don't look pregnant! I want a bump so badly but I'm sure when I get one and it gets huge I'll be wishing it was smaller😂 I think it just helps you connect to baby and makes things feel more real and that's why we crave a bump:)

I've heard that some people's just pop overnight too so you never know, you may be surprised one morning haha!

JLT24 · 17/04/2024 11:27

@WickWood I’ll join the new WA group x
