@WickWood congratulations on your little boy! ❤️❤️ How far along are you now?

@cm3212 Sorry to hear it's been stressful for you. I've not personally experienced bleeding but I know it can be common in pregnancy (although worrying for you of course). Hopefully it stops happening or they figure out what's causing it so you can have some peace of mind xxx

Btowngirl · 06/04/2024 09:13

@cm3212 conpletely understand that I would be the same! And don’t blame you for getting checked out each time, just some reassurance isn’t it. Got everything crossed for you it stops and you can relax a bit 🤞

cm3212 · 06/04/2024 09:20

@tryforbabynumber2 @Btowngirl thanks both.

Yea, I don't think they're sure , they've just said it can be one of those things and can even be hormone shifts/surges!

I do have PCOS so wondering if that's something underlying!

I have to repeat my 12wk scan on Friday anyway so hopefully I'll get the reassurance all is ok ❤️

WickWood · 06/04/2024 09:30

@tryforbabynumber2 Thank you! I'm 14+5, how about you? It still doesn't feel real... But I'm hoping it will sink in shortly! X

Fullofconfusion · 06/04/2024 09:59

I’ve been so nauseous this week. It seems to kick in mid morning and then hang around until mid day and then come back around teatime. I was hoping it would have started to subside by now. I’m 11+4. I’m eating little and often but it’s so hard to eat when you feel sick.

Still exhausted too and my little boy has wanted to do things constantly with it being the Easter holidays.

How lovely to hear people having happy scans. I’m having my 12 week scan next week and nervous. I hope everything is growing well and baby is all ok

CluelessInLondon · 06/04/2024 12:40

Happy weekend everyone! Hope you've all got something nice planned, or just getting some rest if that's what you need (I've got a stinking cold which is driving me crazy!). I'm 15 weeks today and definitely think I've got the slightest hint of a bump appearing - now going down the Google rabbit hole of whether it's the "right" size for 15 weeks even though I don't think there is a "right" size and every pregnancy is different!

journeytomum · 06/04/2024 12:54

Hope everyone is doing ok! The exhaustion is relentless with twins so trying to take it as easy as I can with a toddler in tow. Thankfully the nausea seems to be easing up. We've booked an early gender scan for four weeks time, so exciting. Our official 12 week NHS scan went well last week and it felt incredibly special and surreal seeing the two babies next to each other! ❤️

I’ve been symptom free for the last few days (coming up to 11 weeks) so even though I had good scans at 6 and 8 weeks I’m utterly convinced that there’s something horribly wrong and it’s going to be bad news at my 12 week one. How do you stop feeling like this?!!

LuxeBiscuit · 06/04/2024 18:42

@journeytomum oh that's great. I can imagine the twins having little chats in the womb, keeping each other company.

@Mitsky I'm 12+6 and morning sickness reduced significantly at the 11 week mark and for the last week I've felt (almost) normal. I had the 12 week scan two days ago. So it's quite normal for symptoms to lessen around this time.

NIPT results came back. Everything looks good and low risk. Also found out we are having another boy. Had a bit of a wobble at the realisation I probably won't ever have a daughter but then I look at my son running around and can't wait to see him form a bond with his incoming baby brother. Will be lovely to have two boys growing up and causing chaos together. 💙💙

Missingpotatocroquettes · 07/04/2024 06:11

I've been having extremely vivid dreams since I've been pregnant. Originally, they were just very strange but they're turning into awful, disturbing nightmares now. They're keeping me awake at night, I've been up since 3am today. Does anyone else have this?

Mine have only occasionally turned into nightmares but definitely having very vivid dreams and finding they wake me up at times. Pre-pregnancy I never even remembered my dreams at all so it’s been quite a big change for me.

hope this is just a little patch and the nightmares stop soon ❤️

They will have such a special bond, my friend felt exactly the same and now her 2 boys are older she wouldn't have chosen it any other way 💙 they are gorgeous and chaotic in equal measures together!

Fullofconfusion · 07/04/2024 10:08

@Missingpotatocroquettes yes! I’ve been having very vivid dreams and some have been horrible. One where my partner left me!! And then another where we had the tests at 12 weeks and found so many problems with baby that we would have to end the pregnancy. Both totally heartbreaking.
I’ve also had some where I wake thinking there is someone/something in my room which is frankly terrifying. I was up last night from 5am. I’d just like a normal nights sleep please

You’re so lucky to have your NIPT results, that must be such a relief. I had mine done 10 days ago and I really hope I hear something tomorrow!

mouldygrapes · 07/04/2024 11:09

Yes to the very vivid and disturbing dreams! I don't remember that from my first pregnancy at all.

I would really like the bone crushing fatigue to be easing now, I'm over the 12w mark :-(

Missingpotatocroquettes · 07/04/2024 11:14

I'm glad I'm not the only one with the crazy dreams! Last night's was about my brother trying to kill me, which is just bizarre as my relationship with my brother is fine.

The nausea is also back today. I must have vomited nearly 10 times today and I'm struggling to keep water down.

lpylou · 07/04/2024 11:14

Yes to the nightmares! I woke up trembling in the early hours. In my dream I answered DH phone and it was a nervous sounding woman which promoted me to check his messages. At first I thought it was questionable what I saw then to my shock he confessed everything! Then the penny dropped... was he telling me all because he was leaving? He told me he loved her. I then woke up and was angry at him for the day. Firstly for what he did (l know) but also because I lost sleep and I need it!

tink3rb3ll · 07/04/2024 13:58

Also having the vivid dreams, sometimes just mental dreams then others that are nightmares. They wake me up but thankfully I manage to get back to sleep within half hour.

Before I was pregnant I couldn't get to sleep, had pills from the doctors to help. Since this pregnancy I'm sleeping loads.

I went for my NIPT this morning, hopefully get my results in 5 days

30somethingttc · 07/04/2024 14:08

Hi everyone!
I haven’t posted in here yet, been following along but pregnant with two babies around 10 and a half weeks. So due End Oct but will be more like mid Oct if I go to 37 weeks.
I wondered if anyone is having a lot of discharge? I find myself changing my underwear 3 times a day to feel clean. I don’t think I have an infection or anything like that as in no pain and going to the loo normally etc. I know you are meant to have more but wondered if I’m having too much….? Got my 12 week scan coming up so also can check then!

CluelessInLondon · 07/04/2024 14:25

@30somethingttc Welcome and congratulations! I've definitely had a lot more discharge than usual - had more than normal around 7-8 weeks, it tailed off and then over the last few days I've started to have quite a bit more again (I'm 15 weeks). I've gone back to wearing a liner in my knickers - I'm not overly worried as there's no colour or odour to it but I'm going to mention it to the midwife at my 16 week appointment just in case.

spudnik1 · 07/04/2024 14:36

Ladies, talk to me about constipation.
I have been constipated since becoming pregnant.
So far, I have been drinking 8 glasses of water a day. A glass of smoothie and eating 5 pieces of fruit a day.

I have also put a stool in the bathroom to stick my feet on to keep knees above hips.

Is there anything else I can try ?

I am going to ask the midwife at my 16-week appointment next week.

I really dont want to strain my pelvic floor 😂

30somethingttc · 07/04/2024 14:36

@CluelessInLondon yes that’s similar to me in terms of i was having a lot more and then stop and now more again. Can’t keep up with the changes to my body. A new day another new thing!!
thats a good idea on the panty liner. I didn’t think of that! Was bringing spare underwear into work 😂

Sunandsea13 · 07/04/2024 15:54
