Hi everybody! Can I join? Due 8/10 although likely to be earlier since I'll be having an ELCS.
Got my scan next week, can't wait!

mrssunshinexxx · 26/03/2024 13:19

I had bleeding at week 5-7 and it's not happened since then so hoping mine is gone it was mix of red and brown never had this with my other babies so defo worried me

Mitsky · 26/03/2024 13:26

I am tentatively rejoining this group! I was on the last thread but left it as got very worried that everything was going to go wrong.

but here I am, the most I’ve ever been pregnant at 9 weeks and have had two scans which look normal. Still don’t believe it might actually happen for us.

mrssunshinexxx · 26/03/2024 13:31

@Mitsky believe it ❤️

tryforbabynumber2 · 26/03/2024 13:32

@Beck208 welcome lovely 🥰 This is only my second pregnancy (9+3) and already showing a bump, although I am carrying twins so that's probably why I'm showing so early! Xxx

tryforbabynumber2 · 26/03/2024 13:32

@TubbyCustard11 welcome! ❤️ Love the name haha xxx

tryforbabynumber2 · 26/03/2024 13:33

@Mitsky that's great news, glad you've rejoined ❤️

tryforbabynumber2 · 26/03/2024 13:34

Hi everyone! Hope you're all okay ❤️ 9+3 today with my twins. Had a scan at 8 weeks where everything looked perfect, but have found myself getting really anxious since then especially since knowing it's twins, feels like double the worry. Have another private scan at 10+6 on 5th April so hopefully everything is still looking good. How's everyone feeling today? I'm just absolutely exhausted xxx

mrssunshinexxx · 26/03/2024 14:23

Just had my booking app and midwife was more than happy to support me with vba2c so I'm relieved about that !

Beck208 · 26/03/2024 15:07

@tryforbabynumber2 thank you ❤️ and aww big double congratulations! Ive shown so early with all my others, and always getting the stretchy leggings and maternity things out at 13 weeks, just doesn’t seem to be happening this time, no bump to show off yet 😢 going to be telling close family this weekend, I feel like now ones going to believe me xx

Trifficult · 26/03/2024 15:25

10 weeks today and no real sign of a break from the nausea or exhaustion! 12 week scan is booked for the 11,th April which feels like forever away ... Probably because I really want to tell my 4yo!
To anyone whose symptoms are fading I truly envy you!

CharlieBalf · 26/03/2024 16:51

All OK at the scan today measuring 11+1.
Dates keep changing by two or three days every scan I get 🙃

No sign of trauma after the fall and baby had a strong HB.

@Trifficult my nausea has only just started to subside past two days so hang on in there.

Joey2011 · 26/03/2024 16:55

I slipped down a couple of steps about 3pm. Feet went out in front of me and I really hurt my back. My stairs don't have carpet.

Went to the walk in centre and gotta go back for a full assessment at 5.55. I think she said that my blood pressure is high. I didn't quite catch what she said. So I'm hoping everything is OK. 🤞🤞

Bee49 · 26/03/2024 17:37

@Trifficult I’m 11+2 and it’s only the last few days I feel like the nausea is lifting. It was definitely earlier with my first. Hang in there. You’re nearly there!

StarShipEnterprise1 · 26/03/2024 17:45

@OneSunnyFox I’m so sorry to hear that you’re in such a difficult situation. I don’t know if this helps, but our NHS team advised us that if we went ahead with the NIPT then not to have the combined test at 12 weeks as it could cause doubt/anxiety if there were discrepancies and in their view the NIPT was the more accurate test. I appreciate you’re already in that place of anxiety, but thought it might provide some assurance that the NHS do rate the NIPT accuracy highly. Thinking of you lots as I’m sure the waiting over the next few weeks will be difficult, know you have support here x

WeightoftheWorld · 26/03/2024 17:52

Yeah, I'm 11 weeks just and have seen a huge improvement in the sickness in the past few days. I felt at my worse a week ago and am dramatically better now. I'm still on my meds and have some nausea but I haven't vomited in about 4 days now and able to drink some tea and eat some chocolate again now so feeling much more like myself! So hopefully won't be too much longer for those of you still really struggling a week or so behind. Although I was still a lot more sick a lot later in my last two pregnancies.

LuxeBiscuit · 26/03/2024 18:15

@Mitsky good news about your scan. You had a work Fri if I remember correctly. Did you decide to cancel?

OneSunnyFox · 26/03/2024 18:26

thanks @StarShipEnterprise1! I wish I’d known! Love your handle btw.

I think I’ve narrowed down why it’s flagged from my report, basically my free beta HCG levels appear to be wildly high. The internet says the tests are supposed to be adjusted so the median is 1 MOM, and my level is above 7 MOM 😂so I must be right at the end of the bell curve. Looking on forums even 3 is deemed high, so I really stood no chance. Explains why I’ve been very ill during the pregnancy.

We are keeping everything crossed, and I’m hoping for my sake my levels come down so I can start to feel like a normal human again. I thought I’d be better by 10 weeks, but it feels like my body is punishing me for that bit longer.

3littlesunshines · 26/03/2024 18:54

Omg I keep losing the threads 🙈😅 hope everyone is well 💖 have the most horrendous sickness and been rushed off my feet so been hard to keep up in the chat, how is everyone keeping? Xx

ButterflySkies · 26/03/2024 18:59

@cm3212 @October73 @mrssunshinexxx oh lovelies sorry to hear you're all going through it too! I was so content with my first - if sick - at this stage, it just feels like such a wildly different ride this time. I had early losses before this little pickle, I know lots of us have, but the hematoma and that are really weighing on me. But pleased to hear despite all that your babies are thriving 🩷 not ivf here, congratulations!, so it's just been chalked up as one of those things.

@Trifficult im desperate to tell my 3 year old, she keeps asking when her baby is coming and i just want to say so soon!! My 12 week is ages away, il be nearly 14 weeks, and I want to tell her properly but dont want to temp fate with buying a big sister item or book yet!

@Joey2011let us know how you get on 🩷

@IsLarryFromSomething I am booked for a homebirth. I homebirthed my last baby and it was the most amazing experience of my life.

I had two babies in hospital before that, with my second baby ending in a c-section and I whole heartedly believe they were traumatic births due to the unnecessary medical intervention that happens to many women in hospital. No freedom of movement, strapped to a monitor on the bed, multiple VEs and breaking of my waters. It makes me really sad thinking about it.

my 3rd birth was miles apart. I fell pregnant 7 months after my section and had the most beautiful undisturbed waterbirth at home with my other 2 upstairs sleeping. They woke to find their new baby in our bed in the morning. It was WOW.

Honestly, if I could go back and have my first baby at home I would. Following homebirth support group on Facebook is great first place to start investigating if you feel home birth is for you. There are thousands of birth stories (first time mums, VBAC etc) and such a supportive group of homebirthers and homebirthers to be. Definitely worth looking into it now and being informed ❤️

Sorry to go on and on. You can probably tell I’m slightly passionate about it due to my experiences 🙈😂 xx

I totally resonate with this am a hypnobirthing coach , I had an induction with my first and vow with my following 2 I would do it my way, after having 2 beautiful and empowering hypnobirths when given the chance I feel like a ramble on about it 😅 its an experience I wish I could give everyone as it was honestly the most amazing experience of my life having our babies on my terms in my space and completely in control , calm and it being enjoyable 💖xx

Nervous764367 · 26/03/2024 19:08

@Trifficult love your user name. I’m guessing you’re a Bluey loving family also 💙😂 xx

WickWood · 26/03/2024 19:13

@3littlesunshines I found this reassuring, I'm doing an online hypnobirthing course and reading a hypnobirthing book, I'm absolutely terrified of birth so glad that helped you!

Sorry to hear so many of you feel unwell. I hope you all feel better soon! X

spudnik1 · 26/03/2024 19:54

@Joey2011 I fell down the stairs 2 days before my 12 week scan everything was fine. But it made me remember I fell down the stairs 3 times when pregnant with my son. I am now like an old lady clinging on to the bannister. I clearly can't judge where my.feet are when pregnant

tryforbabynumber2 · 26/03/2024 19:56

@Beck208 thank you lovely ❤️ They do say all pregnancies are different! Maybe it could be an indicator of baby's sex or maybe your stomach muscles have repaired themselves better this time around? Xxx
