Welcome all expectant mothers of Oct 2024… This thread has been made as we are nearly getting to the end of the 2nd thread and that was made a little last time and people didn’t find it for a abit so making this one now so people can just add their names until the 2nd thread is full. Hope no one minds me doing this :)

Underwear!!!! Ladies how are you coping! I’m 10 weeks and can’t find anything comfortable to wear. I got a zillion seamless knickers that keep slipping off my but and went and bought comfy Cotten bralettes but they keep rolling up and squishing my already sore boobs! I’m so uncomfortable..any recommendations? #SOS

Here is my little one, all looking well, thank goodness. My due date has moved to September! I was stick to this thread though! I was hoping for a photo to guess the sex, but baby did not oblige!

@rachisamumtobe ahhh it’s so exciting isn’t it! I’ve booked myself a day off work next week to go shopping with my mum. I reckon I won’t be able to resist getting something for the baby😅
ive been feeling ok, symptoms are chilling out which is scaring me but I’m trying to stay calm 🤞🏻

Thank you! Feeling very relieved. It was much more thorough than the EPU or my private scan.

Yes got my due date as the 4th of October. I tracked my ovulation so I knew it was then or the 5th of October.

@Seashells4 that's lovely! I hope you have a nice time. I know what you mean I didn't feel sick much at all yesterday and was confused but now it's back with a vengeance lol baby must be growing well!

Hi everyone! We had a scan today (delayed our original early scan after we ended up at the EPU a few weeks back) and both twins are doing well and measuring at 10 weeks! It definitely feels more real now they resemble something, and we had a few little arm waves ❤️ very cute seeing them next to each other! Very ready for this nausea and exhaustion to ease up! Hope everyone else who has scans this week goes well.

Just back from our second and last scan at our fertility clinic and the baby was really moving lots! We are 9 weeks tomorrow and baby was measuring bang on 8+6!

@Eiremogra Asda maternity full briefs! Comfiest things ever. My usual knickers were cutting in halfway along my belly and getting uncomfortable. These come all the way up to my boobs 😂😂 xxx

@Eiremogra John lewis big knickers and their anyday wire free bra . Think it may be a sleeping bra but I wear all the time now bra was £18

@Holl89 you have amazing restraint! If I was a radiographer I'd be scanning myself daily.

@spuspudnik1 is that JL bra padded? My undies I always wear a size up anyway and wore that normal size right through both my previous pregnancies as I just wear low rise ones. But I'm starting to spill out of my bras now! And I only wore stretchy Emma Jane sleep bras in the first trimester the last two pregnancies because I was housebound with the HG anyway, I only left for appointments. But I'm not so sick this time but I think my maternity bras are probably still too big so might need something inbetween to tide me over for a little while. Reluctant to buy more stuff though, I have all my old stuff in the loft.

@rachisamumtobe absolutely terrible 😂 constant nausea and sickness! Not as exhausted though which helps. Currently addicted to ice lollies to get the horrible taste away!

@Sunandsea13 pretty much the same! Lots of nausea 😑 don't have a funny taste but I do have a very heightened sense of smell!

I am 10 weeks on Saturday and have my 12 week scan on 10th April. I've been feeling quite anxious for the past couple of days as all my symptoms have gone away. I didn't have many to start with and they weren't really that strong, the odd retching and metallic taste in mouth. I've called the midwife and she's asked for me to contact EPU and they will make a decision to see me or not as I'm not bleeding and no pain. I did have a scan at 8+3 where we did see little bean with heartbeat. One thing that is still ongoing is my entire body eczema, the flare ups are so bad I'm in pain 24/7 but that's down to hormones I've been told and I'm on progesterone pesseries.
