@WeightoftheWorld yes it is. The padding is removable though.
I had an emcs last time and at the moment I can't stand anything against the scar so have had to go for massive granny knickers !

IsLarryFromSomething · 21/03/2024 18:22

Aw, love seeing everyone's scans. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow so about 3 weeks out from that. I hope my date is right when 12 weeks as then I'll return from easter holidays knowing it's ok.

Nic2908 · 21/03/2024 21:08

Even folks. Nipt results came today, it’s a little girl but she has tested high probability for Turner’s syndrome. My 12 week scan has moved up to tomorrow and then I have to have genetic counselling and then cvs/amnio. I feel like I’ve had the world taken from underneath me yet again. I’m not sure I’m going to sleep that much tonight.

WickWood · 21/03/2024 21:17

@Nic2908 Thinking of you at this difficult time, I hope all of your appointments are quick so you find out ASAP as waiting is never nice x

Oct24 · 21/03/2024 23:54

@Nic2908 Sorry to hear this. Hoping all the next tests and steps are smooth and as stress free as they can be. Sending you a massive hug. Xx

CDD · 22/03/2024 01:09

@Nic2908 So sorry to hear this as others have said I hope you get a quick turn around for all other tests. Virtual hugs sent and I hope you have a good support system around you and if not you can always talk to us even if its to vent and dont want to vent with/at the ones around you in real life. Take care xx

CluelessInLondon · 22/03/2024 11:13

@Nic2908 I'm sorry to hear this, it must be a really scary and uncertain time for you. It's good that you've got some clear next steps confirmed though, so hopefully you will have more information soon. Sending you a hand-hold. ❤

spudnik1 · 22/03/2024 14:57

Just had my 12 week scan. NT was 1.9 is that good ?
I have to see a consultant, have extra growth scans , and do a glucose fasting test ? Didn't have any of that last time but I am older.

OCTOBER 2024 BABIES :) THREAD 3
OneSunnyFox · 22/03/2024 15:32

@spudnik1 I’d definitely ask your health care provider or midwife for guidance here. Google can be a bit dangerous and they should be willing to answer any questions related to you or your babies care.

WickWood · 22/03/2024 15:36

@spudnik1 I was told the same as the above screenshot, but as @OneSunnyFox said, always speak to a professional if worried x

spudnik1 · 22/03/2024 16:02

Looks like ot should be OK then. Big relief. Now when should I tell the 8 year old ?

mylittkeitalianhome · 22/03/2024 16:10

@missy24 My symptoms disappeared entirely at 10 weeks in my last pregnancy too (which I was very relieved about to be honest) and everything turned out fine. It's definitely worth having a scan though, if only to put your mind at ease.

Seashells4 · 22/03/2024 17:00

@missy24 im 10 weeks today and completely get your anxiety. My symptoms faded about 48 hours ago and I started to panic. Just got back from a private scan and baby is very comfy in there with a heartbeat and gave us a little wave 😅 if you can I would say maybe get a scan to reassure you as I started to worry myself sick x

rachisamumtobe · 22/03/2024 17:02

@Seashells4 that's such great news xxx

Sunandsea13 · 22/03/2024 17:02

Hope everyone’s okay, this 10-12 week period is an odd time. I’m feeling constantly sick and struggling to eat much. Hoping it gets better soon! How is everyone else feeling?

WickWood · 22/03/2024 17:34

@Sunandsea13 I'm 12+4, still feeling quite nauseous and still have foods that I do/don't want to eat! But I'm sooo much better than I was, so there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel!

Seashells4 · 22/03/2024 17:35

@rachisamumtobe thank you 💕 I tried to resist another scan but I found a place just down the road from me so I couldn’t not!
happy 10 weeks to you, hope you have a lovely weekend ahead 🥰

@Sunandsea13 it is such an odd time isn’t it, sorry to hear you’re struggling to eat. Do you have any cravings at all or is it everything is making you feel yuck? X

RobynC28 · 22/03/2024 17:38

I'm 12 weeks exactly. Still feel quite rough and sick but can leave the house to pop to shop without retching - so maybe this is the beginning of feeling better. 🤞🤞🤞

tink3rb3ll · 22/03/2024 18:56

9+1, still shattered all the time, I've not had any nausea but I do feel a little nauseous in the evening.
I get hungry, but by time I go to actually eat I don't fancy it 🙄

My skin is so dry, I constantly feel bloated which doesn't help when I'm hungry. Anyone else?
