Hi all,

I've just found out I'm pregnant and due Nov. I've found Mumsnet so helpful during conception so wanted to start a thread on pregnancy if anyone wanted to join. I'm feeling VERY tired, I've had cold feet (literally) and jelly legs today. I had very heavy implantation bleeding last time (which ended in loss about 4 weeks later) and none of that so far so hoping that's a positive sign. Have the strangest feeling already that it's a boy. How's everyone else doing? Xxx

@Sarah268 I'm exactly the same. No symptoms as such, but I'm really struggling to get to sleep at night and then I'm waking when my dh goes to work early and not getting back to sleep. I feel like I've had a deep sleep though.

Yes, I’m also waking up at night but I fall asleep so quickly and feel extra tired.

Anyone else also tests themselves every day just to make sure the line is getting stronger?

DaringlyDizzy · 08/03/2024 07:09

Slightly panicked myself!!
Did a final CB test today. Defo positive.
My first test was 13DPO, then 14DPO, today 15DPO

I was testing with cheapies since 8DPO.

Issue is I’m still getting NADA on the cheapies and my CB are not getting any darker.

i never even knew to worry about line progression my last pregnancy. But I read some threads on here and here we are. So stressed now.

Welcome to all the new posters!!
Last few nights I've woken up with stomach cramping. It is very annoying/trying not to worry. HCG still increasing and I've no bleeding or spotting but can't help but worry because of last time. Walking seems to help. Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Welcome everyone! 😊

@DaringlyDizzy aw sorry you're in a panic. If the digital is positive then that's good. Do you have photos? X

Hi lovely, I was having the exact same. It hasn't happened since I've 'cleared myself out' constipation wise so I'd recommend lots of fiber!

hicketypickety · 08/03/2024 07:51

Can I join please? Another outlet for my anxiety... have a DS(6) and then a MC Sept 2022, a complete molar pregnancy April 2023 (signed off by the specialist clinic to TTC again Dec 2023), then an early MC/CP Jan 2024. It wasn't quite the fresh start I was hoping for this year!

Was unsure of cycle length due to January so tested at 10dpo to be surprised with a positive. Been seeing a private doctor for some recurrent MC tests while I was waiting on my NHS appointment and they've prescribed me 2x400mg cyclogest pessaries a day.

Worried as I don't really have any symptoms? But my dates put me at somewhere around 4+4 or 4+5 so it may be too early but seems to be lots of ladies on here with symptoms so I guess I must hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Loz365 · 08/03/2024 07:56

@hicketypickety welcome!
Sorry you've have such a tough journey, fingers crossed for a sticky bean 🤞

Don't worry, I'm 5+3 today and still dont really have any symptoms. The odd cramp and a bit more hungry and tired than usual but if I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't think twice about them as symptoms! I ended up doing another test this morning just to check it was still positive 😂

hicketypickety · 08/03/2024 08:04

@Loz365 thank you, that's quite comforting - I have been quite tired but tbh I put that down to being emotionally drained 🤣

My husband is away with work next week so I'm focusing on getting to Sunday when I should be six weeks and then I'll self refer to EPU (they must think I'm the woman who cried wolf by now the amount of time I've spent down there in the last year) as I need an early scan to check it's not molar which they do between six and seven weeks.

Are you sure when you ovulated? You could be earlier than you think.

This is my second pregnancy and have symptoms at 12DPO but with my first one DD(7) I had no symptoms at all until my belly started to grow so I would not worry. It was scary for me as I didn't feel pregnant, but I kept doing pregnancy tests like a maniac just to be sure.

piechipsgravy · 08/03/2024 11:40

Welcome @hicketypickety - I'm sorry to hear you're have a difficult journey, praying this is a super sticky healthy bean for you.

piechipsgravy · 08/03/2024 11:45

I'm 5 weeks today which doesn't mean much but it's actually quite reassuring being out of the CP stage. It's also exciting to see the model on the apps change so I have something new to stare at 😅

I've contacted my work counselling scheme for some support with my anxiety and processing all of the news of this week as I've been finding things a bit overwhelming. Even sending the message has actually helped a bit.

Having lots of dizziness/light headednes and heart palpitations today which is a new one. Plus incredibly thirsty- just want to drink water constantly which is so unlike me. Pre pregnancy I would sip on one coffee from 8am-4pm then have a glass of squash in the evening and that was it for my daily liquids!

How is everyone else?

I’m sure sure! X

DaringlyDizzy · 08/03/2024 12:02

I’ve not had many symptoms other than

  1. waking in the middle of the night. Could be worry tho!
  2. peeing LOADS. This one I’m sure of! I usually go the whole day without a wee but was in the loo 10+ times yday. Tbf the loo is upstairs so it’s helping getting my steps in!
Jellybelly888 · 08/03/2024 12:21

@piechipsgravy i am so thirsty too, I’m usually awful with liquids but here i am, drinking tonnes! Also, your username makes me hungry every time i see it.

I am so bloated at the moment, very tired and also waking up at 3 or 4am every morning for a wee! We have a scan booked next Wednesday and I should be 6 weeks 2 days. Then if that goes ok, I’ll be having one at 8 weeks and another at 10 weeks. This is due to 4 previous early MC all between 6 and 12 week. I’ve had DS between though so hopefully this one will be a sticky bean also. Very much joining the anxiety train with you all too x

malant · 08/03/2024 12:42

Hello all. Tentatively joining as it’s still early days. I’m six weeks and it’s quite surreal as we were due to start IVF at the end of February which was delayed due to catching Covid. To have a positive test after four years ttc and an infertility diagnosis is very very strange.

I have booked an eight week scan to check all looks ok as I’m not fully convinced right now. I had bleeding last Sunday / Monday but nothing since and tests are still showing as strong positives, clear blue digital progressed from 2-3 to 3+ even after the bleeding.

First ever pregnancy and it is quite dull not being able to feel any excitement due to all the worry.

Hopefully I’ll be in good company here as it will be a long while before I tell anyone in real life! 🙂

You'd probably get a positive on a digital with a line like that!

Loz365 · 08/03/2024 13:49

@DaringlyDizzy I'm rubbish at seeing lines and I can't definitely see those!

@malant congratulations! Can I ask when you got 3+ on your clear blue? I have one left and was going to wait until next time week when I'll be 6 weeks to do it and see if I ever get to 3+ (I know they're not accurate but I can't help myself... 🙃)

Today I have officially got further than I did with my only other pregnancy that ended in an early MC. I'm taking it as a small win 😁

1yearplan · 08/03/2024 14:02

@Loz365 that definitely counts as a win!!

@piechipsgravy I'm counting down the days to my 5 weeks to be out of cp zone too. I like it when the little picture on my app changes too.

I'm going to book an early scan, I'm aiming to book at 6-7 weeks ish.
I've managed to fall over on concrete today while walking my dogs. I've cut my knee and twisted my wrist 🤦‍♀️ praying the tiny baby is well padded in there.

They will be fine! But poor you!! Rest up x

shohopeful · 08/03/2024 14:14

@Jellybelly888 you're quite right with the scans. Whatever gets you through the anxiety.
@piechipsgravy yay for 5 weeks today! That's me 5 weeks today too. Glad you're able to get some help through work too.

My cramping has mostly subsided today but I cannot get over how tired I am. I definitely wasn't this tired with my pregnancy that ended with mc so hoping that's a good sign. I think the cramping is a mix of bowel changes and ligaments stretching? It's low down and goes between the two sides. Not excruciating but still winding myself up and googling ectopic pregnancy symptoms. Hoping it isn't that. Still no signs of any bleeding etc so taking that as a good sign.

3 weeks today til my early scan. Feels like a bloody lifetime!!!!

My last period was Feb 2nd which I think would make me due in Nov too 😊 I took a test a few days ago (period a few days late) and the line was faint, took another this morning (first wee) and it’s so strong! Is this usual? I’m worried I’m having twins or something.

@Loz365 thank you - congratulations to you too! I got 3+ on Tuesday, so I’d have been 5+4. I was going to wait until at least six weeks but temptation got the better of me. I think testing becomes a bit of an obsession as soon as you see one positive! Six weeks is probably a safe time to do it, if you can wait 😄… easier said than done.
