Hi all,

I've just found out I'm pregnant and due Nov. I've found Mumsnet so helpful during conception so wanted to start a thread on pregnancy if anyone wanted to join. I'm feeling VERY tired, I've had cold feet (literally) and jelly legs today. I had very heavy implantation bleeding last time (which ended in loss about 4 weeks later) and none of that so far so hoping that's a positive sign. Have the strangest feeling already that it's a boy. How's everyone else doing? Xxx

Who can I message to be added to the FB group? My request is still pending so not sure it's working?

So I got my second set of results... HCG went from a 86 to a measly 104 after 50 hours. They dont know if its a MMC or an ectopic so I will have bloods on Monday and we will go from there.

I am shattered. This entire time I was too scared to hope but once I saw the digital and the words I couldnt help it. Now i feel like an idiot. It feels so impossible.

Thank you to all the support. I will keep an eye on the thread and will be here with congratulations come November.

So sorry, please be kind to yourself, you’re not an idiot!

Starrysky812 · 16/03/2024 23:04

@DaringlyDizzy I'm so so sorry to hear this 😔

Loz365 · 17/03/2024 06:36

@DaringlyDizzy aw i'm so sorry 😔 like the others have said, you are not an idiot! It's natural to feel excited when you get that positive test, we're all doing it.
Take care of yourself, and take time to rest and process. Sending you so much love 💐

Sarah268 · 17/03/2024 07:46

Update and a goodbye from me unfortunately. Bleeding started yesterday, and has got heavier overnight. It’s not gushing out (not yet anyway) but With the amount of blood it has to be a mc at 6+4. I’ll call midwife/EPU to double check tomorrow morning.

Absolutely devastated! Everything felt fine.

I hope everything goes smoothly for everyone, wishing you all the best for those little November bundles of joy xx

lifeparadox333 · 17/03/2024 07:54

Can I also join? I also had a previous pregnancy sadly ended around 4 wks in mc, I'm almost 7 wks too, many congrats and I hope for a successful outcome this time for you! Xx so about a werk ago I've been feeling VERY different this pregnancy than with our first! The tiredness has been overwhelming, cannot stop eating already, if I don't on time I get very faint so easily, couldn't sleep at all last night woke up again feeling so faint I don't know what's going on, will open a thread as I just don't feel to great myself atm and feel so worried. I just can't get over the tirednesss and hunger this soon on, is this normal?!! Never had hardly any symptoms at all with my first and sailed it! Xx

Kinsters · 17/03/2024 07:59

So sorry @Sarah268 and @DaringlyDizzy pregnancy loss is such a horrible thing to go through. Be kind to yourselves x

piechipsgravy · 17/03/2024 08:00

@Sarah268 I'm so sorry to hear this. There is a chance it's a hematoma and the pregnancy isn't over so definitely get checked over at the EPU.

Mumtobeno2 · 17/03/2024 08:05

Sorry @Sarah268 and @DaringlyDizzy, I hope you both have support to lean on around you. Sending you both love, and support from afar. Xx

waryandbored · 17/03/2024 08:12

@Sarah268 I’m so sorry to hear, take care of yourself, sending love x

IsItFinallyMe · 17/03/2024 09:45

@Sarah268 so sorry this has happened, please call your GP though, I had this before and when I went to EPAS there was still a heartbeat, I’d just had some bleeding. I don’t want to give you false hope but you should get checked in case, they may give you progesterone for the bleeding. Praying for you and sending love xxx

RedCords · 17/03/2024 09:50

So sorry @Sarah268 and @DaringlyDizzy 💔💔💔 so unfair. 😢

Daisychain27 · 17/03/2024 09:59

So sorry to hear that @Sarah268 😞

Loz365 · 17/03/2024 10:17

@Sarah268 I'm so sorry 😔 as the others have said, definitely get it checked out just in case but also, having had a MC, sometimes you just know when it's happening. Take care of yourself 💐

1yearplan · 17/03/2024 13:06

I'm sorry to hear your news @DaringlyDizzy. Sending you all of the love. Be kind to yourself.

@Sarah268 another vote for getting the bleeding checked out, just incase.

I've had no more bleeding. My HCG is where it should be for 6 weeks, however, with the scan showing only the gestational sac and no yolk sac or fetal pole on Friday, I don't hold out much hope. The doctor explained I'd still have a normal HCG despite the pregnancy not progressing more, which is just horrible. I hope everyone is doing well. I've got my next scan on Friday.

waryandbored · 17/03/2024 13:54

I’ve had some light bleeding today (5+5 I think). Started as pink spotting and is now light pink/red blood when I wipe. No pain apart from slight lower back ache. I’m ridiculously worried even though I know there is nothing I can do right now. Just wait and see I guess.

Jellybelly888 · 17/03/2024 14:30

@Sarah268 I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve been bleeding, I hope the EPU can help with some definite answers for you soon.

@DaringlyDizzy Firstly, you are definitely not an idiot at all, please don’t ever feel that and be kind to yourself. It’s so hard and the emotions, the hormones, the hope, the worry and the disappointment is exhausting.

Sending you both all the love xx

Starrysky812 · 17/03/2024 15:00

@waryandbored that's really worrying for you but it's definitely worth getting checked. There are lots of women who can have spotting / bleeding and everything turns out okay. I know that's not very helpful, especially when you feel so powerless to do anything. Thinking of you and hoping everything works out. Take care xx
