Hi all,

I've just found out I'm pregnant and due Nov. I've found Mumsnet so helpful during conception so wanted to start a thread on pregnancy if anyone wanted to join. I'm feeling VERY tired, I've had cold feet (literally) and jelly legs today. I had very heavy implantation bleeding last time (which ended in loss about 4 weeks later) and none of that so far so hoping that's a positive sign. Have the strangest feeling already that it's a boy. How's everyone else doing? Xxx

9DPO was last Friday, had a really faint positive so took a Clear Blue Early Digital and it came up positive. And this is my line progression since 😊

@Charandbaby92 @Welshcake15

I would screenshot but no point as it's literally private secret / you can't search for it or no one can see it unless you're invited

I can add you by email that has worked for others

Another person has said they had to copy and paste link into browser rather than clicking on the link, and it worked that way

I had trouble joining on my phone but when I did it on my laptop it worked, just incase it helps anyone ☺️

Thank you !! I’m hoping we’re pregnant, congratulations!! What do you think to my tests ?

Hard to tell from the pics but think I can see something especially in the 2nd pic. I know it's easier to see in real life than taking a photo.
Test again with first morning urine. I've also heard pink dye tests are better for seeing early results and try a clear blue early detection digital if you are getting faint positives. My digital said pregnant at 9DPO which was 5 days before my period was due so it deffo can pick up the pregnancy hormone if it's there. Good luck and fingers crossed for ya!

@CadoAvo loving your line progression! 😍 you're so organised ☺️

Hello so we have been trying to conceive I’m due my period Wednesday thought we would test early, I have taken two ! what are your opinions on the results please ? I’m trying not to get to excited ! Thank you in advance :)

Tbh I can't see a line but it's always harder to see in pictures than in real life 🤞

@waryandbored could it be indigestion? I suffer so badly with it when I'm pregnant and it's definitely started already for me. It seems to start earlier with each pregnancy.

Hey!! 4 weeks today, got a faint positive on 3+4 and have retested a couple times since in disbelief, now officially missing my period!

Feels so early but I found out the same time with my son - long way to go from here but feeling hopeful. Have had to tell work already due to my job which feels slightly mad but there we go!!

No symptoms yet except being VERY tired, already started anti sickness meds after HG last time. Second pregnancy, my son is nearly 2.

I've requested to join the Facebook group but hasn't been accepted yet so hopefully see some of you over there too :)

omghavingababy · 16/03/2024 06:59

@PigeonPigPie morning and congrats!!!
Interesting that you've already been given sickness meds, I had severe HG last time too and terrified of it happening again but 5+2 today and no sign 🤞🏼
Did you go to the doctors and they just gave you the meds "just in case"?

luc243 · 16/03/2024 07:32

5+2 today. I’ve been awake since 5. Telling my mum the news today and so excited/nervous 🥲

Sunandstars28 · 16/03/2024 07:58

Is anyone struggling to sleep? I get to sleep easily, but am waking up without fail at 4am with hip ache and nausea and then can’t get back to sleep. Feel like I’ve been hit by a truck already 😴

RedCords · 16/03/2024 08:05

I'm just in bed for 10, which isn't like me as normally I'm a late bedder @Sunandstars28! Waking up at 7am bright and early though because of it. That's rubbish about the nausea and hip pain! I haven't felt anything yet so took another test this morning, only 12dpo though and still positive 🤞 I'd happily skip any sickness mind! 😷

Loz365 · 16/03/2024 08:06

My (very vague 😂) symptoms seem to vary day to day. Some nights I can't sleep or I wake up really early, then other nights I sleep really well. I seem to be better if I had a snack before I go to bed for some reason!

Same here. Last few nights have been really rough. I’m waking up aching and anxious and then struggle to sleep again. I’ve also woken up today feeling rotten - swollen glands and sore throat so that’s not much fun!

muddlingthrou · 16/03/2024 08:14

Hi @PigeonPigPie - welcome! Can I ask what meds you've been prescribed? I'm taking cyclizine which is taking the edge off the sickness, but I still feel pretty rotten.

PeachDahlia · 16/03/2024 08:19

Hello Everyone!

I’ve been following this thread for a few weeks now but thought I’d finally join in. I’m 7 weeks today so due around 2nd November. This is my 2nd pregnancy, I have a 2 year old. Really struggling this week with awful all day nausea and started being sick yesterday. I had HG with my last pregnancy and ended up in hospital.

Really want to avoid it getting to that point this time so I already got some anti sickness tablets from the GP but doesn’t seem to be working :(
just wondering if anyone else whose had HG - was there anything that helped?

shohopeful · 16/03/2024 08:26

I've been sleeping with a pillow between my knees and I cannot tell you the difference that has made to the hip pain. I was totally unconvinced before I tried it too. I'm defo going to get a good pregnancy pillow - think it'll help so much!

That’s useful to know, I’ll definitely try and pillow between the knees tonight!

Yep, the evidence shows starting before symptoms can make the meds more effective
I'm taking B6 and magnesium as well just over the counter :)

Cyclizine initially as I'm still breastfeeding and bedsharing with my son and that's a safe one. I haven't had symptoms start yet but if they do I'll probably have to add ondansatron
I took cyclizine thought my whole last pregnancy and it reduced it a little but not effective for me on its own
Pregnancy sickness support is a great resource!!

I get to sleep with not too much difficulty but I’ve woken up at 5 each day this week and just feel all excited and anxious the same time just thinking it all over!

Daisychain27 · 16/03/2024 10:07

Morning everyone, I’m 4 weeks today (@PigeonPigPie same as you 😊), still no symptoms other than occasional twinge and cramp, anyone know if this is anything to worry about? Don’t even have sore boobs!

hicketypickety · 16/03/2024 10:14

@Daisychain27 I don't really have any symptoms to write home about. Occasional tingly boobs, occasional indigestion and a bit more tired than usual, some cramps on and off but nothing major. I think @Loz365 was in a similar boat until recently. By my dates I'm 6 weeks tomorrow.

Will find out more on Tuesday as EPAU have booked me in for a scan due to history (I ended up in there yesterday when phlebotomy at the hospital sent me to pick up a blood form ordered before I found out ahead of my appt at the recurrent MC clinic and absolutely broke down so Tuesday should be fun, tho I do have more time to prepare).
