Baby due Nov 2024

Hi all,

I've just found out I'm pregnant and due Nov. I've found Mumsnet so helpful during conception so wanted to start a thread on pregnancy if anyone wanted to join. I'm feeling VERY tired, I've had cold feet (literally) and jelly legs today. I had very heavy implantation bleeding last time (which ended in loss about 4 weeks later) and none of that so far so hoping that's a positive sign. Have the strangest feeling already that it's a boy. How's everyone else doing? Xxx

I still have no symptoms, other than being a bit tired and slightly increased appetite. Trying to enjoy it while it lasts 😂 3 days until my first scan!

Due date 17th November
I got my 1st positive on 6th march followed by a positive digital on 7th. Currently 18dpo and had my dye stealer this morning!! I have a super short cycle (23/24/25 days) so I found out super early, I was 3w + a few days. according to Flo. I'm 5 weeks today! Had a MC in January so its all happened again quickly, very grateful but on edge all the time.
Symptom wise I'm tired, enlarged boobs, mouth is always full of saliva?! and I'm more hungry than usual.. some occasional cramps too, but otherwise feeling pretty good! Looking forward to sharing this journey with you all 🥹❤️🌈 xx

The appointment is at 10.30. I feel okay, I've come to terms with the outcome, it's not my first miscarriage, so I know the signs. I'll keep you updated though.

Woken up today with zero symptoms and still trying to get my head around being pregnant - so did a digital 🙊

I thought I was 5 weeks today but digital says 1-2 which makes me around 3-4 weeks apparently 🤷🏻‍♀️ never taken a digital before though and know they can be unreliable

So I got my HCG back. Not looking good. Its at 84. Will go Sat to see if its doubling - but we have family over for my sons birthday. Followed by a dinner party and a sleepover. Would rather be alone and just wait for the test but maybe I will appreicate the distraction.

I am VERY sure of my dates and even if I wasnt they shouldnt be this out. I asked the midwife to be blunt and she did say it looked like things are ending for me.

Will report back Saturday as there is a glimmer of hope still and I refuse to let go.

For the others going through doubts and questions - you are in my thoughts

@Daisychain27 oh snap, this is my first pregnancy too and I don't have a scooby what I'm doing either 🤣

@DaringlyDizzy I'm so sorry it wasn't better news 😔 the distraction may help and as you say, it's still unknown at the moment. Hoping it still better news for you tomorrow 💐

@AFeastForCrows yea they can be very unreliable so I wouldn't worry too much. I've read so many threads of people who never got 3+ and people who had had their HCG tested which didn't make the CB digitals. Take it with a pinch of salt, positive is positive and ignore the weeks is what I've learnt!

@DaringlyDizzy sorry it wasn’t better news. Hopefully the busy next few days will be a distraction x

Got on an off cramping again today and around my back. I genuinely wasn't really expecting cramping and it freaks me out a bit just because I'm so used to cramping being period related. It does feel different though. I always got period pain on my left side, but the cramping today is all over and milder. And breathe..so hard not to freak yourself out!

Congratulations!! This is my first baby too. I'm 17dpo. Due 18th November. Not a clue what I'm doing but very excited ☺️

Hi all, can I join?!

I'm 4+5 and that puts me due 17 November! This is my second, I've got a 19mo DS, he and this pregnancy are both from IVF. I'm very much in the "very exciting but don't get too excited" stage at the moment, I have an early viability scan just before Easter so that's the next milestone...

Congratulations!! I’m due the day after you but only make it 4+3? How are you dating?

@Sparksi dating at this point usually relates to LMP. If I go by LMP I'm due 17th and am 4+5 just like @Shroedy (LMP 11th Feb) but as I did IUI I hae a more accurate conception date so I've used that. Intrigued to see which is closest to the verdict from my dating scan! I bet we'll all be updating due dates at 12 weeks!

Hi, can I join?

I found out on 12/3 and am 5+1. It’s my first so completely new to this journey and have no idea what’s going on! I’ve got mild nausea and feeling tired but no other symptoms so far.

If you self register with an NHS maternity service, how long until they contact you to book in for first appointment? I tried going through my GP but they just pointed me in the direction of the self registration.

Hi @Sunandstars28 - it seems to vary dramatically depending on where you are in the UK. Last pregnancy I got a call back within 2-3 days. This time is taking longer.

I had a scan today after the bleed. There's a sac but no yolk sac or fetal pole yet, so the scan was inconclusive. I'm currently measuring 5w5d, which is what my app says too. My HCG is high, but the doctor said it would be due to the sac being present. My cervix is currently closed. I've been prescribed progesterone and will be rescanned on Friday. It's all just a waiting game again. Still no symptoms.
