Hi all,

I've just found out I'm pregnant and due Nov. I've found Mumsnet so helpful during conception so wanted to start a thread on pregnancy if anyone wanted to join. I'm feeling VERY tired, I've had cold feet (literally) and jelly legs today. I had very heavy implantation bleeding last time (which ended in loss about 4 weeks later) and none of that so far so hoping that's a positive sign. Have the strangest feeling already that it's a boy. How's everyone else doing? Xxx

Link to the fb page if anyone's interested it's just introductions and symptoms at the moment ....
I think during this first initial stage before 12 weeks everyone's too anxious and worried of what might be to come before we get talking properly to nitty gritty of pregnancy and parenting but I'm excited of what the group might become ☺️

This is me exactly, I'm scared to get too chatty in case I have to leave soon!

That's so lovely, what a coincidence! I can only dream of the day I have 3 babies. This is my first pregnancy so a bit nervous but very excited ☺️

Its all good fun, im 35 and never thought id have any more children after i had my last son in mid 20s.. i have 4 now (girl boy girl boy) and this next one im guessing will break the cycle because for some reason i have in my head it will be a boy 🥰 good luck with the pregnancy im sure everything will be fine and run smoothly, im nervous for other reasons (my age and my bmi being the main reasons) but im crossing everything xx

@luc243 I make myself 5 weeks today too with a due date of 14th November

I have no symptoms, my constant cramping has stopped I am craving eggs though. Scrambled eggs
Making myself egg fried rice in the evenings and eating it with balsamic glaze vinegar on top😂🤣🤣🥴

Behind you by 2 days, next to no symptoms but craving eggs!!

Hi all!

Had some bad-ish news. Feeling superdown.
Ive spoke about my faint lines a bit and then getting a super early digital clear blue - it should be 3+ and it was saying 1-2 weeks.
Anyway yesterday I had awful cramps and bleeding.
EPU saw me today.
Couldn't find a sac ANYWHERE.
No in uterus or tubes. NADA.
Dip stick showed a faint positive again though
Had had bloods done and will be called later today.
Then another round Saturday.
Feel awful. Dont know what to feel.
I have some hope as they didnt find an ectopic but why didnt they find anything at all!! Even if my dates are awfully out they should have found something.

i’ve been lingering on this chat without writing anything for a while - after having 3 previous miscarriages I’ve finally got to 7 weeks and had a early scan today. Unfortunately baby is measuring a week or so behind although they were certain they could see a heartbeat but what could be expected for about 6 weeks.
has anyone had this happen before? Feeling really dishearted and now worried it’s going to end in a miscarriage again.

piechipsgravy · 14/03/2024 13:52

@DaringlyDizzy @CN1126 I'm sorry to hear you've both had some less than stellar news. Sending lots of love xxx

IsItFinallyMe · 14/03/2024 14:02

Hi Can I join? Bit nervous, MMC two years ago to the date, my due date is 14th Nov exactly the same as previous loss. I’ve had some strong positives but very worried about some right sided pelvic and hip pain I’ve had for a few days now. My GP has booked for an early scan at 6 weeks at EPAS next week which will confirm if pregnancy is in correct location if so has agreed to put me on progesterone. Very concerned about this unilateral discomfort, wondering if anyone else has had this and things have worked out ok?

omghavingababy · 14/03/2024 14:12

@DaringlyDizzy I am so sorry this has happened, what a rollercoaster of emotions for you. It is weird that they couldn't find anything I'm hoping the bloods and further scans will give you answers
Sending lots of love and strength

@CN1126 this happened to me with my (now 3 year old) daughter. I was so nervous and anxious and everything with previous miscarriage then went for early scan and they told me I was a week behind (even though I was adament on dates)
Please feel comforted that they found a heartbeat and maybe to keep your mind at ease book in another scan if you are able, or does the EPAC offer you one
Either way sending love!

It really wasn’t what we had hoped to see. Can I ask how many weeks you were when they put you a week behind? They couldnt measure the heart rate but were pretty sure they saw it flickering/pulsing

omghavingababy · 14/03/2024 15:10

@CN1126 I was entitled to a 6 week scan on the NHS because of a previous molar pregnancy - they told me they could see something and confirmed a (small!) but flickering heartbeat but I was really measuring 5
It was an internal scan too and had to have a full bladder
They didn't offer me another scan on NHS after that, so I booked 1 privately at around 8 weeks to put my mind at ease and all was fine

Really hoping that all works out ok for you xx

I came across this thread on Tuesday when i was looking for reassurnace that a viable 5 week pregnancy could still show 1-2 weeks on the CB....

at 6+5 she was mesauring 5+5. She posted lots of updates. Everything caught up and she had a happy little girl 8 months later x

As an update - had a scan today at 6 weeks 1 day and saw a heartbeat ❤️ all looking good after an episode of super-heavy bleeding and clots on Wednesday. Hoping that'll be the last drama for a while!

We had similar on Monday. I was expecting to be around 7+2 but measured 6+1. They were able to see a heartbeat too. The tech said late ovulation can happen and it takes a few days to implant, so that can skew dates. I also checked with a GP friend who advised that measurements at this stage are so tricky, so advised us not to worry.

Obviously still worried and fell down a bit of a Google rabbit hole that had plenty of people with similar experience having good outcomes but also people having bad outcomes.

Then my husband reminded me he thinks we had exactly the same experience with our first son. Checked the ultrasound photo we had with him when I went in at what I expected to be at 7 weeks and it showed I actually only measured 6 at that stage. He is now a fully grown 4 year old. I also dug out a scan we had at 11 weeks which showed by that point, he had ‘caught up’ but about 4 days at that stage.

We have booked a follow up scan for Tuesday 26th to check back in and make sure things are still progressing. It’s hard not to worry though x

Thank you for sharing this. It’s a worry especially when you know when you had a positive test! If the 6 weeks they have said is anything to go off I would’ve had a positive test at 3 weeks which isn’t possible! Hopefully just a slow grower and will catch up but the doctor said only time will tell
