Hello ladies,
as per suggestion in respect to the owner of the previous thread I’ve created a new (continued) thread for us.

Booking-in appointment this morning took about 40 minutes, including urine test and blood draws. Very impressed with how efficient it all was! Midwife also got on my good side by doing a double take at my age, which I very much enjoyed! 😆

Was having a lovely day, then I got given a horrible cover class last period (I’m a teacher) and scratched my car on the way home. Burst into tears when I walked in the door. Luckily my DH was there to scoop me up and give me a hug as I lamented my poor bumper. Hormones are no joke.

Based on your timeline I was hoping my NIPT results would be back yesterday (same company), but sadly they still haven’t arrived. I feel so anxious and have had that horrible sick feeling in my stomach all week. I feel convinced that the results will be high risk. I can’t concentrate on anything. All I’m doing is refreshing my emails.

@Xur I don't think I've ever said it before but couldn't think of anything more appropriate to write 😂 are you feeling any better this evening? It's strange your sickness has come back like it has. Hopefully today is a one off and all back okay tomorrow xx

Waiting for NIPT results is such an anxious time and so hard not to overthink it. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get your results tomorrow.

@MudandMoet now I’m okay, but I haven’t eaten in a while. Low key scared to try for a dinner.

@VT6 I have lower back pain, gets worse when I have to bend. This is a new one, never had this before.

So many ladies are having the NIPT tests makes me feel like I should have had one aswell. 🤔

Im also surprised I’ve not made the gender test via blood. I know I spoke about it on early days but now I’ve lost interest.

@decaffe oh no! Don’t worry they said 3-5 days and it just happened to come back in 3! Also I think they called me immediately on the weekend because I had got so upset on them (cringe I know)
can I ask why you would think it will come back high risk? I know it’s hard but try to not to stress too much :)
I never had the nipt last time I was only stressed this time because of my daughter (who I must point out I wouldn’t change for the world I just didn’t want anymore last minute surprises)

Another BOY to add to the thread 💙 (confirmed with NIPT). I've been quiet since the first thread as I was so anxious but starting to calm down now! I had a scan on Monday (10+3) and measured 11+1 which is a bit strange as my dates are exact due to IVF.. The lady measured 3 times and got the same result each time! Now I'm eagerly awaiting my 12 week scan!

Congrats @Babyplease23!! Wow so many boys! Are there any confirmed girls, I’ve lost track!?

I wouldn’t worry, measurements (especially when that small) can really vary depending on position or who is measuring, so even half a mm can change the due date. Plus babies don’t all grow exactly to the letter as per the literature/guidelines so theres always a little wiggle room on dates/gestation etc 💜💜

Yeah so many boys! I feel like 2024 is the year of the boys 💙💙💙💙

I already have two, I don’t know if I like any more boy names 😫😂

I feel like I am having a girl and that's all I've had through nub theory's. I find out 30th March

@HRP1990 I think we've only heard of one or two girls altogether so far!

So much to catch up! So lush seeing the bumps and scans I can't wait to catch up 1 week to go 🥳! My first baby was 8 years ago now so I technically should be showing earlier but with him I stayed practically flat until 24 weeks!
I think by 18 I'll have a big old bump..

Anyway no belly yet but keep getting back ache from work chairs 😅 so I broke my rule and busted out the BBHUGME early and omg I slept like a log 10pm- 7am
I can only hope it is a saviour for the weeks to come 10/10 recommend

Also not a brag I got huge and swollen at the end quickly and DS was 9lb9.5oz I would have rather grown slow and steady 🥴 haha

So much to catch on! Congrats on all your scans, and how exciting! Congrats to those who have already found out their baby's sex!

I've got my scan on Monday and I can't wait.

Is anyone else still really being sick? I'm sure with my previous pregnancy's it had stopped by now!! Hopefully not much longer to go

think I was in one of the first threads but just didn’t keep up! Got my 12 week scan a week today and just feeling anxious now, just never know what can happen 🙈.
I’ve not really had many symptoms at all the whole way bar really sore nips and the occasional 10 mins of nausea so I’ve been lucky really but it’s not reassuring 🤣 had a lovely scan at 8+5 so just hoping to see little baby again next week 🤞🏽

I've been MIA this last week as I've been as DH described, a 'parp-powered cranky pants' (except none of them fit) and didn't feel like inflicting the fun hormones on others.

I've been sleeping terribly as have a bladder the size of a thimble and like @VT6 I've had horrible hip pain and some ligament pain as well - got so bad I had to go to gp about it. She reckoned its the relaxin at its highest stretching things a bit too far, and should calm down in the next week or so, if not then its off to the physio.

On the plus side my team were lovely when I told them today, even though they'd guessed a couple of weeks ago

So I’ve been awake since 4 🫣 feeling very anxious about today! My body feels pregnant, I look pregnant, I’ve had nothing to feel/show me there’s any issues yet i can’t stop worrying about my scan 😭

Here was scan 12+4! Will update our private one I've done for 16 weeks as in scared 15 won't be enough and my dates don't seem to add up!! My due date means I conceived the week before my last period??? 🤔

Good luck for today @VT6 if it’s any consolation, I felt exactly the same and in the end my scan was perfect. Hope yours is early and you don’t have to spend the day worrying 🫶🏼

I felt exactly the same on Tuesday!! The lady who scanned me said I looked petrified and was tense!! As soon as you see the movement and heartbeat all that worry will go away and you'll just be so emotional!!! Good luck ♥️ x

My scan is next Wednesday and feeling quite anxious about it. I started to feel a bit better for a few days around 10 weeks but unfortunately since then I’ve been back in a nausea, sickness and headache hole 😩
