as per suggestion in respect to the owner of the previous thread I’ve created a new (continued) thread for us.

@HRP1990 I had an argument with dh about this because he wanted to cancel my health club membership to save money (we both have memberships that get paid from our joint account). He said I haven’t been using it so it’s a waste. I’ve been so sick in my first trimester that I haven’t been able to get there, but definitely want to get back to it as soon as I feel well enough! I miss swimming and yoga.

@Lillers ytell him to cancel his if he wants to save money. He can pick up on housework as that’s exercise aswell! 😂

I did! I told him we joined together to support each other, and now if I quit, so does he!

I had been constipated the last couple of days again. My back door still hurts from two days ago!
I had a shot of prune juice today morning, but I think it was lowkey expired because it was opened more than 7 days ago and now even though I’m still constipated, I also feel like I’m having a diarrhoea. This is so weird. I’m feeling a bit sick aswell, but as soon as I sit down on the toilet, it all goes away. 🙈

@HRP1990 i stopped exercising after an early bleed but now I've got through the scan and starting to get some energy back in going to start spinning and weight training again. Need to be active for the diabetes too :(

@TripleESept24 I take 5mg folic acid, prescribed from doctors by midwife and then just boots or Superdrug aspirin 150mg and boots vitamin D 20mg. Honestly a day or two after stopping the pregnacare the constipation stopped for me.

@Xur pregnancy is sooooo glamorous isn’t it 😂

I was thinking, why do I only ever see glam, together pregnant women out and about? Then I realised it’s because the rest of us are all glued to our bathrooms and out of sight of the rest of the world 😂

@Lillers My sickness wasn’t that bad but I am as far away from put together as I possibly could be right now 😂 here’s hoping the 2nd trimester does wonders for me

@HRP1990 i haven’t done much since early first trimester but now I’m past 12 weeks I’m going to start again. I done pregnancy yoga last time but I would like to keep up some light weight/ bodyweight workouts too. I had PGP and I think keeping up strengthening my glutes etc should help keep that minimised this time.

@VT6 second trimester brings farts for us, a lot of them. I’m fairly certain I can power a small gas stove

Just had mine and all is well. The NHS are keeping my private doctor's EDD of 6 September so I'm 13+6 today, as expected. They confirmed I'll get additional scans from 20 weeks due to my history so that's good, I'd have otherwise paid for them but better if they're free!

NHS ultrasound equipment is sooooo poor compared to the private clinics!! Very poor images by comparison! But baby is still healthy today and that's all that matters 🙏

I’m the least glamorous pregnant woman, I’m too busy scoffing my face trying to keep nausea at bay.

My oh told me earlier that he saw the coolest car set pram a woman had the other day and went up to her and asked her all about it. So he’s been talking to a random woman about her doona. And he’s gonna go out a get one now haha

My scan also went well, baby kept laying in awkward positions so had to keep jumping around so they could get all the measurements, measuring ahead by a few days so now 13 weeks 1 day and due 11th September.
Anyone else's veins not play along when having blood taken? 😫
I were thinking i were having a girl but now changed my mind. We are thinking of maybe getting a gender scan at 17 weeks

After fighting through for ages, I’ve finally bitten the bullet and got a GP appointment for this afternoon to try to get help with sickness. I was pushed after being really sick this morning, but my body almost being too tired to bring it up properly and feeling like I was choking at times.

I’ve been off work for most of this week and want to see if they’ll sign me off for longer now - I’ve never been signed off before. Do you just tell them what’s wrong and hope they suggest it? Or do you tell them you want time off? I don’t want to sound like I’m trying to skive 😂

@HRP1990 due date buddies although with my last 2 i were 15 days late with my first and 13 days late with my second so this one probably won't be on time either 😂

@Fik88 yeah 5 days late over here too lol I’m pretty sure we can safely say we won’t be having August babies lol

I also had my scan today, measuring slightly ahead, now 12 weeks and 2 days, with a revised due date of 17th of September. Still awaiting my NIPT results which I'm hoping will come through in the next few days. We'll also be finding out the gender 😍
