@hol92 yes mine is Friday 15th!! Feels like we’ve waited forever for it.

So I’m now 11+3 weeks. This week I’ve started having cramping/stretching feelings in my lower abdomen.
Sorry if tmi but yesterday and today I’ve been having brown discharge when I wipe after a wee.
anyone else experiencing this?
I’ve called the midwife and they’re not worried unless I get a fever or pain.
any reassurance welcome 🤗

Baby was perfect! Even started sucking its thumb at one point 🥹 measuring a few days ahead so now 13 weeks, due 11th Sept! (better than Friday 13th as previously predicted haha)

@HRP1990 that thumb suck picture is so cute! My scan is tomorrow and I'm both excited and nervous.

I woke up at 2am needing a wee and having horrible acid reflux. I then couldn't sleep as I was having real anxiety about having told work/friends about the pregnancy. A lot of worrying about things going wrong. Anybody else experienced this after telling people? I thought the 12 week scan would stop the anxiety for a bit!

@Samwins I bled and had a brown discharge in all my three pregnancies. Lost the 1st baby but the 2nd baby was born fine. I also had some brown discharge with the current pregnancy around 8.5 weeks and lots of muscle stretching type of pain but the doctor said brown discharge is actually very common. Do you have option to call the Early Pregnancy Unit? They've always seen me when I called and mentioned bleeding or brown discharge. Not sure when your 12 weeks scan is but maybe the EPU can see you just to put your mind at ease.

My scan is tomorrow at 8.30, feeling so nervous and my anxiety is through the roof, i have everything crossed that it goes well. Good Luck to everyone having scans in the next few days

I still don’t have a date for my scan! It’s nearly 2 weeks since my booking appointment now. Nothing on my app. I’ve been trying to call the ultrasound dept but it keeps cutting me off saying nobody is available to take my call, and I’ve emailed them asking someone to contact me and saying how anxious this is making me but nothing. I honestly don’t know what to do at this point.

For those who had NIPT tests done - how long did you have to wait for your results?

@Lillers Could maybe your GP help in reaching the right person? Or alternatively, I think there is Patient and liaison services (PALS) that you could try and call / email if you are not getting anywhere. I've never used this service so don't know how quickly they act but worth a try.

@Lillers have you tried contacting your midwife? Frustrating that the ultrasound dept ain't answering!

@Fik88 8:30am is such a good time. Gets it done so you are fretting all day. Mines at 11am so still early enough I suppose. I work in the department right next to maternity in the hospital too so only have to walk 30 seconds with a full bladder 🤣

@SC126 yeah i am so glad it's early don't know how i would have coped if it were in the evening 😂 Thats good, i will be crossing my legs hoping i can wait until after scan to pee 😂

how far were you when you miscarried?
they didn’t seem to think I needed to go to EPAU. Guess what will be will be.
I have my scan next Friday so not too far away.
I will of course call if it worsens

Hi so I’m 12+3 I’ve only just thought to even look for a group with babies due in September 😅 I’ve got a 14 month old already so I’ve been hectic since finding out. How is everyone’s pregnancy going?? I hope it’s not too late for me to join in :))

@Lillers I still haven’t got mine and my booking appointment was over 3 weeks ago.
midwife and gp told me they couldn’t sort it, has to be hospital.
i was told to call the hospital antenatal unit which I did. I was told I do have a scan and a consultant appointment on the 15th. Never got letter or text message!
don’t panic, just keep trying.
