@longingtobe23 mine is in the 15th too!

The first 3 months of the year always seem to go slow but this is just ridiculous 😅

VT6 · 01/03/2024 12:47

@HRP1990
I’m really hoping I’ll be the same!

rupertbear91 · 01/03/2024 12:49

Mines the 15th too I booked a private scan for tomorrow because I can't cope with the wait!

40andhopeful · 01/03/2024 13:12

Mine is the 15th too!

I have had 2 private scans so far (weeks 7&9) so I really can't justify another one but I think the next 2 weeks are going to be torture!
Especially as my symptoms have started to lessen now which I guess is normal at this point, but would love to be in a position to get weekly reassurance scans

WolfMother326 · 01/03/2024 13:42

Had such a nice scan today. Baby was wiggling around and waving and touching his face (I already know it's a boy from the NIPT). Due date moved forward to 4 September, so I'm 13+2 today. I felt very emotional and grateful having not been as lucky with the last pregnancy. Back home now and still feeling weepy. Finally feels a bit more real!

Due September 4.5 🐣♥️🧡💜
Caroline2023 · 01/03/2024 13:46

So many lovely 12 weeks scan, congratulations all ❤️

Mine is 13th march, so another 2 and a half weeks to go 😩

FirstTimeMum897 · 01/03/2024 13:54

@Xur 4 kilos gained here too. I was just on the edge of a healthy BMI (25) when I got pregnant so I'm not allowed to put on much weight. Got told 9-12kgs max. But my god I can't stop eating.

hol92 · 01/03/2024 13:59

Lovely scans 🥰

Is anyone else experiencing heart flutters? I get them a few times a day and am hoping it's normal! X

MudandMoet · 01/03/2024 14:02

@sansol that's the only scan I have, we got plenty but they're all the same. Not to worry and thank you anyway, will be finding out next week - eeeek!

I'm finding I'm hungry all the time now too @Emmaev @40andhopeful and my trouble is I find myself reaching for the chocolate and crisps and biscuits and buns (in between good hearty meals) I just don't fancy fruit and the good stuff.

@WolfMother326 ahh lovely scan, doesn't it feel so much more real now! Amazing 🥰

I've had my blood screen results from the NHS back today and all really low risk. We've got a NIPT booked for Monday anyway so are going ahead with it for extra reassurance and we'll get to know the sex.

SC126 · 01/03/2024 14:10

@hol92 Speak to your GP or midwife about the heart flutters just incase. Pregnancy can be a cause of heart flutters due to increased blood flow and the added stress of everything but it might be good to have it on file as they might want to monitor it or something since it is cardiac related.

Xur · 01/03/2024 14:39

@WolfMother326 awwwww what a cute scan 🥰 yeah I know it’s emotional isn’t it, I was on the wave for the remainder of the day after I had the scan 🥹

Fruit is not the same, I need brown it’s all that satisfies! I was borderline healthy bmi at my booking appointment but it’s been almost 5 weeks since then, and I haven’t let up. They always say don’t eat for two as well, and have a healthy diet. Bet someone who’s never been pregnant advised that, because it’s not possible

sansol · 01/03/2024 15:07

Had the day off today with big plans of gym, maybe a treatment, shops and generally enjoying toddler and husband free day.

Such is life at 9-10 weeks pregnant, out of the blue after not having many symptoms this week I woke up feeling like I had a raging hangover. Headache, nausea, fatigue, brain fog and whilst food and paracetamol has helped I can't lift the fatigue and brain fog.

Not left the house or even faced 'real' clothes given my bloat is off the charts. Just in comfys. Feel guilty that I'm not using my day off well.

luckyfaith · 01/03/2024 15:07

Hi all. I hope you don't mind me joining. I've been following this thread but haven't posted yet. I was 11 weeks yesterday and have my 12 week scan next Thursday, very excited but also nervous about it. I previously suffered a miscarriage but was blessed with a rainbow baby who is 2.5 now. I also had some early bleeding in this pregnancy (just like in my last 2) and it's always such a worry whether the baby is ok. I love seeing all the beautiful scan pictures.

luckyfaith · 01/03/2024 15:19

@Xur I had a low Papp-a in my last pregnancy (0.2) and was closely monitored by a consultant. I had regular scans to monitor growth. My daughter's growth dropped under the 10th centile from 20 weeks onwards and they attributed that to the low Papp-a. I was also induced (at 38 weeks at the consultant's advice) rather than having a natural birth and my daughter was born on the 13th centile. However, she's now on the 50th centile (she caught up very quickly) and no issues whatsoever. I found all the regular scans very reassuring. There is a FB support group for those who received low papp-a results in case you want to join. https://www.facebook.com/groups/129843767631323/

I’m on my way to my scan and NIPT, I should be 10+5. I’m very worried that it’s another MMC but I keep telling myself that knowing is always better than not knowing. I’ve avoided scans since my first one at 6+3 which showed a heartbeat, and I was a nervous wreck all week

Lillers · 01/03/2024 15:48

Waaah got such a bad headache this afternoon. I feel kind of stuffy round my eyes and weirdly, inside my ears?! I am attributing it to maybe slightly enlarging blood vessels maybe.

Very hard decision to make tonight - McDonald’s, KFC or fish & chips? Hmm must decide.

MrsM89 · 01/03/2024 16:01

Feel silly asking this as I'm sure it's probably not. But today I keep thinking I feel movements?! Anyone else on thier 3rd baby and felt anything yet? Xxx

@luckyfaith welcome and thank you for the information. I find stories from people with the exact experience very helpful and reassuring, so thank you for that and welcome to the thread!🧡

@Lillers I also have a headache today, I normally don’t have headaches. Mines exactly at the middle on the top of the head, it’s like I’m growing an antenna like a teletuby!

@MrsM89 I felt a weird feeling in my belly yesterday, like a movement, but I attributed it to gas 😂 but pretty sure it will feel similar . Not had babies before, but definitely had had gas movements before.

OP posts:
SC126 · 01/03/2024 16:22

@MrsM89 i was freaked out all day yesterday thinking I could defo feel something then woke up today and it's gone so probably gas 🤣

Cat2022 · 01/03/2024 16:41

@MrsM89 i swear Iv felt a couple of flutters. It’s my second but my daughter is only 1 next week so wondering if that’s why. I had an anterior placenta last time so didn’t feel many movements throughout.

@Xur I also have a headache but more like growing a unicorn horn as it’s in the middle of my forehead.

Emmaev · 01/03/2024 16:45

@MrsM89 i felt for sure I felt something the other day, I did feel my daughter moving at 16 weeks so I’m hoping that this one will be a little sooner. It’s meant to be a big growth spurt between 13/14 weeks so hoping soon I’ll know if it’s baby or gas

MrsM89 · 01/03/2024 18:26

Feel a bit better thinking I'm not going mad. I'm 12 weeks so it seems too early but I'm fairly slim and it's my 7th pregnancy (4 mc - one past this stage) so I guess it could be movements. It certainly feels like in and is low where I remeber first movements being.

HRP1990 · 01/03/2024 18:32

Also had a headache the last few days! I thought it was a side effect of the antibiotics I’m taking but perhaps it was a pregnancy symptom after all!

So glad the scan went well @WolfMother326! I hope you’re having something nice to celebrate 🫶🏼 we’re having a curry tonight for hitting 12 weeks lol

YellowZ · 01/03/2024 19:04

@MrsM89 I'm coming up for 14wks, second pregnancy (technically 3rd but my last one was ectopic). Have felt a few little flutters and what could be movements. Not 100% sure, but I could feel my son at 16wks.
