@Bb542 My classroom is also a long corridor away from the nearest toilet, and if the toilet’s occupied I’d need to go to another floor to find one! Every school I’ve worked in has been terrible as far as providing enough staff toilets goes. I’m genuinely thinking I might ask the school nurse for a sick bag that I can have with me just in case - at least then I only need to find a room without teenagers in before I throw up!

MrsB2019x · 17/02/2024 18:38

Lovely scan @hol92 😍

@Emmaev I have a feeling it’s a boy, purely because I don’t feel anywhere near as shit as when I had my girl! I really don’t mind what we have to be honest

@HRP1990 I’ve kept everything from my daughter too, just thinking if it’s a boy how much Vinted admin that will be 🤣

I looked up the Chinese calendar and that predicts boy, it was right with my daughter 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t believe in any of that stuff but it’s fun to see!

Trouble with the Chinese calendar predictor is I don’t know if this one was conceived right at the end of December of beginning of January - one says boy and the other says girl 😂

Emmaev · 17/02/2024 19:24

The Chinese calendar predicts boy for me this time, but it predicted boy last time and I had a daughter.

My partner wants a girl, my daughter wants a boy and I’m really not fussed either way. Having our daughter though it’s very hard to imagine being a boy mum.

HRP1990 · 17/02/2024 19:33

@MrsB2019x I do secretly love a Vinted binge though 😂

The Chinese calendar was correct with my daughter, and predicts a boy this time around.. so I will be interested to see how true it is at the 20 week scan!

VT6 · 17/02/2024 19:57

I’m still getting my head around the fact we e got some known genders already 🫣🥰 feels like a lifetime ago this thread was started! We will be on part 400 before these little ones arrive 🤣

californiacooper · 17/02/2024 22:07

I'm loving that we have some genders already!! I'm definitely going to do whatever test that is, did someone say it's part of the NIPT if you want it?

How's everyone else doing today? The last few days I have been SO irritated and annoyed by absolutely everything. Feels like PMS you know when you want to shout at everyone put your dressing gown on and go to bed and eat ice cream?!

Also, I know I'm pregnant, the sticks tell me so. And I feel a bit weird occasionally in the uterus area. But I realised today I've now missed two periods and it kind of hit me again. 🤯 (this is my first ever pregnancy and at (nearly) 37 I just assumed it wouldn't ever.

Kofifi · 17/02/2024 23:39

@californiacooper I know what you mean. Sometimes when I have a mild symptom day its easy to think its all in my head.

Today i noticed I've got a line down from my belly button. linea nigra according to google. Which feels so early at 9 weeks? But is oddly comforting. Does anyone else have it?

HRP1990 · 18/02/2024 07:14

@Kofifi I definitely bad it with my daughter but I don’t think it was as early as this?

Has anyone caved and bought any maternity bras yet they can recommend? My boobs feel so heavy and sore now I need some more support. Pre pregnancy I’d have worn a lace, triangle, unsupportive number lol but that won’t cut it now!

Lillers · 18/02/2024 07:36

@HRP1990 I bought maternity bras from M&S a couple of weeks ago. I bought a size up and they still were too small within a couple of days 🥴. So I bought some bra extender hooks and now they’re a bit more comfortable.

rupertbear91 · 18/02/2024 10:51

Went for a private scan this morning, twin has almost been fully reabsorbed and remaining baby has sped up some growing and is measuring 9 weeks exactly. Got to see it dancing around 💕 very relieved after some heavy bleeding this week!

I’m happy for all who had positive assurance scans recently as well as the risk testing! 👏🏻🥳

I have my 12 week scan this week on Thursday, looking forward to that. Weirdly enough today morning and last night I had some nausea again. Whole week 10 passed without but week 11 has arrived to remind me of the nausea I was missing out on last week 😂

Cat2022 · 18/02/2024 14:01

@rupertbear91 glad it went well!

I caved and went for a private scan today too as was feeling crampy and it was making me anxious. All was fine measuring 3 days behind LMP which I expected making me 9w+5

Lovely scan photos everyone ❤️

Has anyone else felt kind of short of breath while doing simple activities like walking up a small flight of stairs or just doing the normal cleaning? I feel winded just from small things at the moment which is really unlike me.

Also feeling crazy hungry and low blood sugar very easily. I think I need to work on eating more intentionally, more protein like eggs meat and dairy.

HRP1990 · 18/02/2024 15:57

Amazing scans girls! I can’t believe we’re coming up to the 12 week mark already!

@WolfMother326 yes me!! Out of breath literally walking around the house lol I have asthma but it’s a different kind of out of breath. Super weird!

Emmaev · 18/02/2024 16:33

Lovely scans! I’ll have my 12 weeks scan next week and I’m so nervous.

Ive been getting cramps and pulling feelings, but I’ve been looking and it says the uterus comes above the pubic bone this week. Swear everything freaks me out.

Fik88 · 18/02/2024 17:22

Awww lovely scans ladies and congratulations on those who have found out they are having boys 💙
I have one of each already so really not bothered what sex baby is as long as they are healthy.
@WolfMother326 I get shortness of breath too doing the simplest of tasks.
My scan is still over a couple of weeks away, seems to be taking forever

SC126 · 18/02/2024 17:35

Ha at least you all have dates for your scans. I'm 10+3 and still yet to have my booking in appointment. It's on Tuesday but then will have to wait for scan date to come through. It sucks not having anything to look forward to and to get me through the awful nausea.

Caroline2023 · 18/02/2024 17:52

Congratulations on lovely scans!! So exciting that 12 week scans are fast approaching!

@WolfMother326 yes I am struggling too. It’s one of the first things I noticed after testing positive. I have asthma and that’s been worse too.

Decaffe · 18/02/2024 17:53

I have just booked a private NIPT and reassurance scan for two weeks today, when I’ll be 10w6d. It feels very far away still!

Lillers · 18/02/2024 18:22

Anyone suffering with nausea, I ordered these “Preggie Pop Drops” from Amazon the other day and they are definitely helping. Sucking on the sweet really helps and it lasts for ages. Once it’s gone the nausea comes back soon enough but it is nice to have a bit of relief, and the flavours are lovely!
