@Nic17 @longingtobe23 im a peloton user too. I was on the bike 3 x a week doing long impact rides last pregnancy. I might start that again once I feel a bit more confident after a bleed

I have been limiting to 30 mins as well!

My next scan is Friday and it will be a big one - hoping to see heartbeat and get a better idea of dates 🤞🏻 anyone else scanning this Friday?

I have my booking appointment today 8W5D the MW is doing a home visit, did anyone else have a home visit?

my symptoms seem to be reducing slightly, any one else at this stage? I’m still on and off nauseous but my boobs are feeling back to their normal selves! Trying not to over think it ….

Reading this thread has been the only thing keeping my sane, so thanks all! If not I’d be in a google rabbit hole every day 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@longingtobe23 good luck for Friday! Our booking in appointment is Friday, private scan on Saturday. There’s a few of us having scans this weekend!

@RedFox24 there actually is science to the boob issue.
sensitive boobs are caused by progestorone which until placenta grows and takes over is produced by our body so we will get increased symptoms from having progestorone in our system-constipation, sensitive boobs, tiredness

when the placenta starts working it becomes the main producer of progestorone and this organ is for the baby particularly so the circuit of hormonal flow is more direct and with that the symptoms will ease.

Re exercise - in my booking in appointment the midwife said carry on exercise but absolutely no ab work

Girls I don’t know why, but it’s just hit me that we’re going to be full on pregnant in the peak of Summer! I am already sweating thinking about it 😂🥵

I'm kind of excited for this (as long as I'm not at work!) it will give me the excuse to get my belly out 😅

That being said I've never been pregnant before let alone during the summer so any advice is welcome!

@HRP1990 I’ve never been that bothered by the heat but my husband can’t stand it, so he insisted on getting an air con unit installed in the bedroom a couple of years ago (the year of the 40 degree summer). I didn’t really see the point, but I think this summer I’m going to absolutely bloody love it!

@HRP1990 that was one of the first things I thought lol. Definitely investing in a good fan this year

@Lillers omg that's going to come in so handy! I love the warm weather, however I can’t imagine I’ll be saying that whilst 7-8 months pregnant lol

@xenababy my first was a spring baby, so I found out I was pregnant in summer. So a complete different experience this time around!

@HRP1990 My first is an August baby and pregnancy in the height of summer is hard 😂 I did love all the floaty dresses but my feet were the size of bricks. I bought an under bed storage box and filled it with water to dunk my feet in every night 😂 I also ate my body weight in ice lollies by the end of it

Done with my scan and gestational sac grew from 18mm to 20mm but baby stayed at 2mm and no heartbeat.
