Last thread just got full so starting a new one for us to keep chatting :)

Same here with the midwife.

Only Bp, urine & listen in to baby cos of being under growth scans she doesn't measure.
Bit naffed off & done with the appointments tbh. And the fact I now have to have more cos of my bp being up last week is annoying!

Tomorrow is the day girlies wish me luck!! Im so scared and anxious and excited and emotional and everything 😬😬😬😬😬

It's crazy how fast this pregnancy has gone, can't believe the babies are gonna start arriving so soon now!

I cannot quite believe the first babies are already coming. So exciting!!!

We've just installed the snuzpod next to our bed and I feel so emotional 🥹 I'm over 37 weeks, baby could come any time now!

@anony1111 give them a call! I had to when I was waiting around for a growth scan.. l was so anxious constantly waiting for the phone to ring that I gave it 4 days and ended up phoning the hospital myself. Lady on reception said “oh yes I can see you’ve been referrred” …. And I thought to myself, SO WHY HAS NOBODY CONTACTED ME?! Anyway they got me in that afternoon! Give them a call hun

@RachLeeds & @redxlondon - agree it’s the only area I feel failed on with my midwives. they are honestly all lovely and supportive but I had no idea you have to specifically ask for antenatal classes (how are you meant to know if it’s your first?). Ive educated myself through YouTube videos with birthing positions and birth ball exercises but would have been nice to have it in person and meet other mums to be. Post birth - if I get the option to raise it as feedback along with my positive experiences I will do.

A few people on here talking about birth and labour being discussed at their 38 week appointment- I’m going from a 36 week appointment to a 39+5 week appointment next week 😬 - I might not get that chance 😅.

@CharXo it's awful waiting for them to call isn't it? I did ring them yesterday and they said that they are really busy at the moment with scans and are working through a list so I should hear sometime soon 🙄 which I understand but doesn't help the anxiety!

@anony1111 I think they're so so busy at the moment. My scan has been booked in really early in the morning with sonographers coming in an hour early to try to get them done. They said they had to open up other slots to try to even keep pace with the demand atm.

Hopefully they'll sort something similar for you soon
