Wow @cosylife we have parallel experiences with our pregnancies, it seems! 😉First one for me was so isolating too... I have mixed feelings about it, because in certain ways we felt kind of cocooned? But on the other hand, obviously, we didn't have any support whatsoever, so... This time around it will be so different!
I do remember how important it is to start moving as soon as possible: I started walking trough the hospital room 12 hours after the surgery, thanks to an amazing nurse who cheered me a lot ❤
I hope everything goes beautifully well this Friday for you: I'll be sending good wishes 🤗🍀💐Keep us posted!
@DanisEndo Oh, I'm also feeling really uncomfortable with my body: everything aches and I move around super slowly 😂As for the c-section, I feel kind of fine: I mean, I struggled with it a lot the first time it was mentioned, but my body has relaxed around the idea, I guess. I feel it is the best option for us, right now. Hoping it al goes well 🙏
@Hotmalibu94 I feel you, really! I still have a glimmer of hope that she moves on her own before the c-section (hope is the last thing one loses, right? 😅) I've been doing moxibustion, spinning babies and yoga and, although I feel her moving A LOT, I can feel she is still heads up. I tried an ECV and hated it, couldn't go forward the second try 🙄I figured that, if she wasn't going to move quickly and easily, we shouldn't force her to: it felt wrong, I don't know how to explain it 😬(This is my personal experience, of course!)
With a c-section, all going well, you'll be home in three days: the first day is the worst, and then everyday you'll do better. Get up and moving as soon as possible, and at the same time of course be gentle with yourself. Get some help for when your husband has to return to work, but at two weeks later you'll feel better 🙏Wishing your baby turns on time! I hope it all goes well for you anyway 🤗
