Couldn't see another and the old one is full. Will copy the list from the last one, the tags are really temperamental though and it definitely has quite a few people missing sorry 🙈

@am3017 congratulations! Hope you're all home soon!

@PartRadish Sorry for your loss, poor husband, can see why you don't want to worry him about anything else! When are you due your stitch out? Hopefully they've calmed down now and it'll amount to nothing 🤞

Mummyme87 · 12/12/2023 15:14

@Mushroo my bowel movements are all over the shop. I’ve stopped with the raspberry leaf tea as that seemed to be making my stomach pretty upset as we’re the iron tablets.

i feel so much less stressed this week, work was definitely not helping, and now we are proactively sorting the car, I’ve given myself a kick to complete Christmas shopping. Could do without the pain but can’t have it all. Although it’s a lot less today, probably as I stayed in bed until 11am (after getting kids out the door with DH for childminder)

oh also, I collected my Emma’s diary free bag from boots today to get the free pack of nappies for the hospital bag!

Mushroo · 12/12/2023 15:19

@Mummyme87 glad you’re feeling better now work is done.

I finish tomorrow but I’ve done everything I need to so I think it’s just a case of showing face, saying bye to people and hopefully leaving early 🤞

Gremlin84 · 12/12/2023 17:31

@PartRadish really sorry for you and your husband. Such a sad time.

6 days of work left and it's getting more stressful not less...really wanted the final couple of days next week to not have anything sitting there to do, but that's not really happening.

buckingmad · 12/12/2023 17:42

I am officially in waddle mode. I get the most horrific lightning crotch if I don’t walk like a cowboy.

Another with increased bowel movements! Also getting a lot of discharge. I remember this happening with DD near the end.

Id like to make it to my pregnancy massage and work Xmas do on Friday. Then baby can come whenever she likes until the 21st. Then she’s not allowed to come until 28th. I don’t want to spend Christmas in hospital!

HopeAndStrength · 12/12/2023 17:52

I'm sorry to hear your family's news @PartRadish - what a shock for you all.

TunnocksTCake · 12/12/2023 18:25

Had my scan and it's freaked me out, head and tummy on 97th centile but femur has dropped from 50th to 12th... sonography wasn't worried and at the time it didn't sink in but that's a big difference right?!

Luhou · 12/12/2023 18:31

@TunnocksTCake I really wouldn't worry they're not terribly accurate. I need to go again in two weeks as todays scan had dropped down a line on the projected growth scale, even though he's 5lb 13oz and still above 50th percentile

Matildahoney · 12/12/2023 18:49

@TunnocksTCake @Luhou I also think if you don't see the same midwives/sonographer each time then everyone's opinion is going to be different, people will measure from slightly different places, some will include some things, some won't etc, positioning of baby changed between visits, it's never going to be accurate.
I met someone at the weekend, was told her daughter would be 10-11lb, she was 7lb 7 and overdue!

FirstT1meMum · 12/12/2023 19:02

Has anyone experienced baby moving further back? Feel like she's not sitting anywhere near as far forward anymore and sitting more round my sides. Not sure if it's something I need to be concerned about or if it's fairly normal x

Yeah I have experienced this too. I’ve been feeling him right in my hips and on the sides sometimes too.

FirstT1meMum · 12/12/2023 19:13

@Inmydreams88 has it affected your movements at all? Still feeling movements just not sure if she's positioned herself behind my placenta or kicking elsewhere!

Luhou · 12/12/2023 19:33

@Matildahoney agreed, they were 3lb out with the predicted weight of daughter.

Anybody really struggling with heartburn. So painful and constant. Gaviscon does work but only works for so long. Pizza was on the cards for dinner tonight but don't think I can face the aftermath

No I don’t think it’s affected movements. But I’ve noticed that one day he’s very active all day, and then he’s quieter for a day and then back to being very active again. That seems normal for me.

Redpanda21 · 12/12/2023 20:20

@am3017 congratulations! X

Mushroo · 12/12/2023 20:31

@buckingmad you’re basically on my exact timetable! Pregnancy massage on Friday, she can then come up the 22nd or if not, I’d prefer her to wait until after the 27th.

I had this with my son, but his long bones dropped to under the 5th percentile by 36 weeks, with head and abdomen at about 100th centile. We were so worried, they flagged different things it could be, and we were sent to fetal medicine.

However he was born and was fine, and is 80th centile for height now at just under two. They think it might have been a bit of assymetrical growth restriction. But also I did a tonne of research and it seemed quite common for the long bone measurements to be off

sashastuck · 12/12/2023 21:24

@am3017 massive congratulations 🩵🩵

Dannic2018 · 12/12/2023 21:35

Hi girls,
Has anyone had sweet smelling discharge? I have to wear panty liners everyday because of thrush and my bladder control but today I’ve noticed a sweet smell when I’ve gone to the loo. I sometimes would get it before a period too.
I do have a lot of discharge too.

I am currently killing my poor old body trying to wrap my ds’s Xmas presents so I know it’s done. Why does my bump look like a egg 🤣🤣

Mummyme87 · 12/12/2023 21:46

As much as I’m in so much pain and struggling, this boy needs to stay put until 5th January. I’m not 37weeks until Christmas Day then away until 27th and don’t fancy a NY baby 😬

Mummyme87 · 12/12/2023 21:48

@Dannic2018 i have the same view although sitting on sofa as can’t sit on the floor. Not started kids presents but done a few others tonight

Hummusanddipdip · 12/12/2023 22:52

Haven't even started wrapping. It's dh birthday Friday 🫣
Baby has decided that he's no longer laying on my left, he's central bum up, legs tucked towards my back, you can clearly see his bum 🤣

I've been pretty sure he'd be here for this Friday for a while, not sure now, he seems pretty content, not had any braxton hicks for a few days. My brother and his girlfriend are over from the states over Christmas, so I'd like him here for them to meet... I'm 36 weeks today, so next week will be fine for arrival too

Mummyme87 · 12/12/2023 22:59

Urgh I’ve just noticed loads of gloopy mucus (so TMI) discharge, like mucus plug maybe. I never had that with the other two, hope he’s not getting any ideas!

heart burn is kicking my butt tonight

am3017 · 13/12/2023 01:36

@PartRadish so sorry for your loss!

@Mummyme87 I had this on the Tuesday before my waters broke on the Thursday, didn’t have it with DS1 but had it with DD after my sweep and then out of the blue with baby 3.

Mummyme87 · 13/12/2023 03:10

Fingers crossed it’s nothing @am3017 would be very unlikely.
I'm awake because its so bloody uncomfortable to lie down 😖
