Couldn't see another and the old one is full. Will copy the list from the last one, the tags are really temperamental though and it definitely has quite a few people missing sorry 🙈

@Matildahoney I've noticed more discharge too over the last week, did wonder if it was a sign of something but don't think it's mucus plug yet!

LittleAlien24 · 04/12/2023 23:08

@Luhou yup quite a few meltdowns here too.
@lucya66 thanks.
@Mummyme87 know the feeling. I feel like I've no time left but so much to do and can't do anything until they finish the works. I feel im mentally so drained.

Im enjoying this pregnancy more than my 2 previous ones because i haven't put up all the weight like i did with my previous ones, i can actually see my bump not just being round everywhere plus my skin is much better this time. Only thing that's getting to me is the discs causing constant pain (didn't have it with previous ones). I think by now I've had non stop pain for almost a week 😢 was just on the phone with DH and couldn't hide crying from him anymore. I feel so bad because i could hear from his voice he feels useless and sad that he can't be here.

AshleyCali2Uk · 05/12/2023 09:01

For the first time I am experiencing lightning crotch. And when I tell you it's shaking me to my core and took my breath away ! I said no no no please ! It's actually worse than I could have imagined!

Inmydreams88 · 05/12/2023 09:11

I’m 36 weeks tomorrow, no lightening crotch here as of yet.

I am in the middle of a hypnobirthing course which I’m finding really interesting as a first time mum to be.

RG9895 · 05/12/2023 09:16

I also have been getting lightening crotch, I'm 35 weeks today and my god it's awful pain but scares me as feels like she is going to come out!

I can't believe how close we all are now, I am getting so excited!

AshleyCali2Uk · 05/12/2023 09:22

@Inmydreams88 oh you're so lucky this is my 4th pregnancy and I've never had it before I hope you never experience it. 😂

@RG9895 doesn't it just snatch your breath away. And it's the fact that there's no warning one minute your fine next min a bolt of lightning. When did yours start? I'm currently 31weeks .

buckingmad · 05/12/2023 10:34

I get it all the time and did with DD too. Stops you in your tracks doesn’t it 😂 tried to explain it to DH but I think unless you own a cervix you just can’t imagine the horror. I can’t remember when it started, definitely earlier with this pregnancy. With DD it really ramped up as I approached my waters breaking.

Bims2019 · 05/12/2023 10:37

@Inmydreams88 I've just started a hypnobirthing course as well, it's really interesting. Just need to make sure I get the practice in!

No lightning crotch here yet, will look forward to that 😬

Onedayatatime24 · 05/12/2023 12:40

@Inmydreams88 @Bims2019 I bought the Positive Birth Company hypnobirthing course but haven't started it yet! Are you getting your partners to do it with you? Not sure if it'll be of any use to him or if I should just crack on alone.

I'm not sure if it's lightning crotch as doesn't sound as painful as what you're all describing but I definitely get the odd sharp pain down there which makes me jump! Also feeling lots of pressure in the last couple of weeks.

Bims2019 · 05/12/2023 13:09

@Onedayatatime24 I've had the course for ages but only just started yesterday! Yeah DH is doing it with me, I think it'll be helpful for him to know the breathing techniques too so he can do them with me on the day.

Dannic2018 · 05/12/2023 13:09

@Hummusanddipdip my belly is really itchy around my belly button and piercing too, not really any stretch marks but I’ve got a bit of a hernia next to my belly button too so looks so delightful 🤣🤣

The only time I think it may of been lightening crotch if it was is when I’m in bed and try and lift my leg up, like a shooting pain in between my foof?
I had a lot of discomfort last night as I think she was head butting in my cervix which wasn’t nice at all 😩

PartRadish · 05/12/2023 13:48

Anyone else have a little rebel who is neither consistently head down nor even close to being engaged yet?!

Don't get me wrong I'm not exactly looking forward to that pressure feeling but my ribs would probably appreciate a break at this point, they are seriously bruised, and I'm starting to get a bit twitchy that she's going to get stuck breech or transverse 😬 Also my stitch is due out in a couple of weeks and they won't do it if she isn't head down!

I'm doing all the Spinning Babies things, figure of 8 on the birthing ball, walking up and down the stairs. I think I might just try doing nothing for a bit and see if she naturally sorts it out, because doing all the things clearly isn't working 😆

WitcheryDivine · 05/12/2023 14:21

No, mine seems to have been consistently head down for a while but the bump itself still looks really high, so I think they're not very FAR down if that makes sense. Last couple of days I've felt more discomfort like headbutting on my cervix, is that a sign of anything?

Mummyme87 · 05/12/2023 14:40

I’ve had my iron infusion at work today. And a cheeky scan, very much breech. I need to work on some things get him moving! My colleague gave me a card for a woman that does moxibustion, so may look into that

buckingmad · 05/12/2023 15:25

Anyone done reflexology? Contemplating going one day when DD is at nursery and I’m off work.

1992H · 05/12/2023 16:41

Sounds like there’s some pesky babies not playing all round with positions!
I think-judging by the toes under my right rib that she’s still head down here.

I'm so bloody over being pregnant though. It seems so much rougher this time, I don’t know if it’s as I’m permanently running around after the bigger two. Or that I’ve been stupid enough to do this three Januarys…. But I am just sick of it.

i appreciate I’m so lucky to be in this position, and her being in is absolutely best for at least another few weeks. But if she’s not evicted by bang on 40 weeks I may cry, and I’m not optimistic as the other two were late. I just miss sleeping on my front, I miss not having raging indigestion and vomiting. I miss wine and unpasteurised cheese and stacks of pate, or weekends up in the mountains, walking at decent pace.

moan over. Solidarity to the other miserable ones amongst us! I thought four sounded a nice number but may well stop at 3 after this misery. Tick tock sunshine. You’ve got 40 days absolute maximum.

Dannic2018 · 05/12/2023 16:48

@WitcheryDivine @PartRadish my little miss is head down and has been for ages but not at all engaged, she’s up in my ribs and the burn is unreal then last night she must of been head butting me in either the bladder or cervix but it was really uncomfortable. I went over with my last 3 but really really can’t cope with the thought of 6 weeks to go if she’s 2 weeks over, I would love her to come between Xmas and new year 🤣

Sambeaumont · 05/12/2023 17:04

Baby is still breech for me. Hoping he moves soon. Not looking forward to them mayb having to try n more him 😕.I'm 35 weeks tommorow

Flossiepot · 05/12/2023 17:18

Breech here too! 35 weeks today, frustrating because he's been head down the whole time and now it's important he's not shifting. Going for another scan next Tuesday to confirm position and then discuss options. So any advice on flipping a stubborn breech is very welcome ☺️

buckingmad · 05/12/2023 17:48

Sympathy to all those with stubborn little monkeys! Baby is thankfully head down still for me, most likely because she can’t move with a foot wedged under my rib. My bump is also now not measuring as small so not been referred for a growth scan this time!

it has been mentioned a few times now how I’ll be constantly monitored cause of previous c section. Has anyone had this and been able to push back a bit? I’d really love to get in the water or at least be free to move around. I don’t want to be trapped in bed.

FirstT1meMum · 05/12/2023 18:27

Fairly certain little one is still head down 🤞🤞
Definitely feel that we're in the final stretch, how exciting!!
I've suddenly started developing pins and needles in my hands overnight...another joyful thing to add to list of things keeping me up! Not too worried as I seem to sleep on my hands somehow!

sashastuck · 05/12/2023 18:35

@FirstT1meMum I’ve been getting that occasionally but think I sleep on my hand(s) too. Hopefully nothing to worry about

Sorry to hear about the pesky breech babies, although there’s still time for them to do that somersault! Mine is head down but not at all engaged (as of last appointment).

LozzieLoo · 05/12/2023 19:43

@FirstT1meMum my hands are also often numb now when I wake up which I didn’t realise was a pregnancy issue.

Heartburn is really kicking in now too. Rennies used to sort it but aren’t touching it now, anyone have any recommendations?

8 days left at work and I can’t wait to just chill before the Christmas madness starts.

FirstT1meMum · 05/12/2023 20:03

@sashastuck @LozzieLoo glad I'm not the only one with this symptom!

sashastuck · 05/12/2023 20:24

@LozzieLoo Gaviscon has really worked for me, the liquid is a lot better than the tablets in my opinion
