Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

@wannabe123 yes makes sense hopefully it subsides for you 🤞🏼 mine got progressively worse then suddenly stopped one day was weird. Dr couldn't find a reason for it either

@Savvy21 all sound like they are heading in the right direction 🤞🏼 what time is your scan Friday?

@justanotherlaura ahhh that's great! I have no tests in the house and had to stop myself going to the shops to buy more. Usually once I've finished what I have I'm really good at not testing anymore but anxiety has got me bad this time 🙄 I wouldnt mind but im having blood tests so there's no need to actually POAS 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've been reading that prednisolone can mask pregnancy symptoms so that could be why I feel really normal this time makes hiding it from work a bit easier at least 😆

Congratulations @pinkmarshmalloww I got a line darker than the control at 14dpo so was wondering if mine is twins 🤪

pontipinemum · 07/11/2023 11:15

justanotherlaura · 07/11/2023 10:25

I've been testing positive for 5 days and finally have a nice dark line so I'm going to stop testing now. I think I must have implanted 3 days later than last time. I got a nice dark line at 16dpo last time and didn't until 19dpo this time, hopefully that's what's happened and all is well!

I'm so tired right now and mildly nauseous, the real nausea kicked in at 6 weeks last time, really hoping it's not as bad this time! At least I won't have to cope with hayfever symptoms at the same time thankfully because of the timing :)

Thank you for posting this, I think I had been worrying about lines not getting dark enough. I am 12 DPO approx I have a CB digital in front of me and it says pregnant. I have all other tests gone out of the house now 😂My period should have started today and it absolutely so sign.

All positivity ahead

pontipinemum · 07/11/2023 11:18

@pinkmarshmalloww oh wow how exciting!! I see you said you had a twin, yes the term is vanishing twin, had that on my last pregnancy. But it's a good sign if both are measuring the same, one of mine was measuring behind.

pinkmarshmalloww · 07/11/2023 13:43

Thank you everyone 😊 the next 11 days is going to take forever 😅 symptoms wise I just get bad nausea that comes and goes, increased appetite, frequent urination and I just want to sleep all day x

pinkmarshmalloww · 07/11/2023 13:45

@Savvy21 I have my fingers crossed for you 🤞 x

pontipinemum · 07/11/2023 14:29

@pinkmarshmalloww I've a scan booked for the 23rd trying to put it to the back of my mind! You obviously do know, but do you like that you know you were a twin? IDK if I will tell DS

Tryingforanother2020 · 07/11/2023 14:35

Hello everyone! I’m due July 3rd and would love to join you all, 6 weeks tomorrow but no real symptoms or nausea as yet! Anyone else?! Makes me so nervous but must stop buying tests!!

Purtyburty · 07/11/2023 16:50

I have booked a scan for 17th - I will be 7 weeks based on date of last period 😬

Ewbo2024 · 07/11/2023 18:02

@Purtyburty I've been wondering about this too! My frer test line was noticeably darker than the control at 13dpo - is that because it's a sensitive test though?
I went for a blood test today to check hcg levels so maybe that will shed some light?

bringmearainbow · 07/11/2023 19:43

@Tryingforanother2020 it's so hard when you have no symptoms I'm like are you even real 😂 in my previous my symptoms have usually really ramped up about the 6 week mark so you might find they suddenly start

@Purtyburty ahhh that's exciting is it a private scan?

Stardust127 · 07/11/2023 20:45

Hello!

I'd love to join 😊I found out last Friday that I'm pregnant, at 9dpo so vvv early. I'm only 3+4. According to calculations, due on 17th July 24. I have a 9yo dd too!

Sorry to hear about your previous losses. I had a bad experience of an early miscarriage October last year, we weren't ttc back then but we were so sad about it. and then a suspected chemical a couple of months ago. So this is very welcome news, we are so happy but also cautious about being too excited just yet.

How is everyone feeling symptom wise? I feel like I've got a more or less mild constant pulling/tugging feeling switching from right to left, I think it is stretching/growing. my boobs are so, so sore and im constantly hungry and tired 😅

I actually went to epu at local hospital today because I nearly fainted at work, felt so dizzy and my shoulder was hurting and weird twisting feeling on right side so I was very worried about ectopic. They said I'd done the right thing going in but couldn't see anything on a scan because of how early I was. Finding blood results tomorrow. I feel okay now. Just think im extra cautious about everything right now.

Purtyburty · 07/11/2023 22:58

@Ewbo2024 oo let me know your test results. To be honest it wouldn't be in my plan and I would find it a scary prospect!

@bringmearainbow yes a private scan!

bringmearainbow · 08/11/2023 07:09

Had my blood test results Sundays were 714 and last nights 1942 they've booked me in for a scan next weds 🤞🏼

Savvy21 · 08/11/2023 07:22

@bringmearainbow that's really encouraging. I find my blood results out today as my drs refused to tell me the result of the first draw until I'd had the 2nd. Rather annoying. Scan is at 8.50 on Friday.
@Stardust127 congratulations - I know what you mean. I've had more pulling and back pain with this than I ever had before

Jess725 · 08/11/2023 08:40

@bringmearainbow good luck with the scan next week ☺️hope it’s a speedy wait!
I’ve ended up needing an early scan at epu also, two weeks waiting is a killer. Grateful though!

bringmearainbow · 08/11/2023 09:40

@Savvy21 they wouldn't tell you that's crazy 😳 does make me wonder at some of the strange rules drs have they are your results what difference does it make if you have them before the 2nd lot 🙄 ahhh a nice early one. Mine is at 5.10 as I need to do it out of work time

@Jess725 thank you I've got a busy week this week so likely the beginning part of next week will drag 🙄 have you had a scan already and are waiting for the next or you waiting for the first scan?

Is it too early for baby brain! After my shower this morning bringing the towel back to the bathroom I ended up in the kitchen looking around. Last night I asked DH to hand me the nail varnish remover as my lips were dry (I meant lip balm)
Stuff that does not belong in the fridge is already trying to go in there, such as the weetabix!!

pontipinemum · 08/11/2023 09:46

@Savvy21 that is annoying they are your blood tests! I don't think I am going to do bloods this time around or any scans until 6.5 weeks. I completely understanding doing them I did them the last time. I just hated walking away esp from the scan and not knowing one way or the other. I say that now. You'll see me in EPU next week

CPHB2021 · 08/11/2023 09:57

Really hoping to join this thread. 8dpo today ( I think ) and planning to test over the weekend! 🤞🏼

bringmearainbow · 08/11/2023 10:24

@pontipinemum def not too early for baby brain 😂 I couldn't even get half my words out yesterday 🤦🏼‍♀️ I hate that limbo period too been there too many times 🙄 but I can't be fussy at least they are scanning me with no hassle

@CPHB2021 fingers crossed 🤞🏼 how long have you been trying?

OP posts:
pontipinemum · 08/11/2023 11:36

@bringmearainbow how many weeks are you? I think I was scanned at about 4 weeks last time I did like them being able to tell me what side I ovulated from. Then at 5, twins found, then at 6.5 only one heart beat, and again about 8 weeks to confirm twin 2 had no hb. I can't remember the full time line but the 1st trimester seemed to be years!!

@CPHB2021 good luck 💐

Jess725 · 08/11/2023 11:59

@bringmearainbow
Thank goodness for your busy week 😊 same here actually 🙏 I hope you can occupy your brain for the final stretch. We can distract you here!!
No, it’s not a follow up scan 🤞 The GP referred me over for obstetric history. I’m super grateful they did. I guess I won’t be getting a private scan after all.
Hope you’re feeling ok! Nausea kicking my butt, not experienced this before

bringmearainbow · 08/11/2023 12:00

@pontipinemum I'm 5+ 1/2 ish atm. So really will be early 6 weeks next week. I've had varying early scans. One pregnancy they started scanning me at 5 weeks but another they didn't start scanning me until 7.5 I think it just depends who you speak to on the telephone as to when they want to book you in. I feel like I've been in the first trimester for the best part of 2 years 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

MrsHousePlant · 08/11/2023 12:01

I thought the TWW was long when waiting to test, it’s nothing compared to waiting for an appointment and 12 weeks for a first scan is it?! 😂
